It had been 10 years since the dreadful night that Sasuke left the village. For Sakura, it had been an eternity. Naruto had sadly died on a mission 2 years back.
She was sitting on the same bench that Sasuke had put her on when he left for Oto.
Sakura was all alone.
She remembered a sad song that she had liked. She began to sing.
"This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes." She sang softly.
A figure was emerging
"Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait?" the dark figure sang back to her.
"Just one chance
Just one breath" sang Sakura.
"Just in case there's just one left" she continued as she saw Sasuke come out of the shadows. She was shocked but they both continued singing.

That I have loved you all along" sang Sasuke
"And I missed you" they sang together
"Been far away for far too long" sang Sakura
"I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go" they sang in unison.
"Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore" sang Sasuke.
Sasuke got on his knees to match the next verse of the song.

I'd give for us" they sang together.
"Give anything but I won't give up" sang Sasuke

"And I missed you" they sang together.

For being away for far too long" sang Sakura as Sasuke wrapped her in a hug.

They both looked up at the midnight sky and thought of their fallen teammate, Naruto, as they sang the next verse.
"Believe it" they both sang.
"Hold onto me and, never let me go" sang Sakura

"Believe it" they sang as they still thought about Naruto.
"Hold on to me and, never let me go" sang Sakura
"Keep breathing" Sakura continued.
"Hold on to me and, never let me go" sang Sasuke

"Sasuke, why are you back?" asked Sakura.
"So I can marry the woman I love." replied Sasuke.
"S Sasuke, do you mean that…?" asked Sakura.
Sasuke was already on his knees again.
"Yes… Sakura? Will you marry me?" asked Sasuke.
Sasuke opened a ring box that contained a diamond engagement ring in the shape of a heart.
"Of course I will, Sasuke." replied Sakura with tears rolling down her face.
Sasuke put the ring on her finger and also put a charm bracelet with the Uchiha symbol on her wrist.
He then wrapped her in a kiss.
Sakura became known as Sakura Uchiha a few months later.
