You Belong to Me
Buffy sat down at the foot of her front step. Her hands were on her face, holding anything back. She looked up and saw the moon. The moonlight beams were shining down on her face. She began to feel cold, alone. She ignored the weather though. Her thoughts were set on a man she fell in love with. Well, he wasn't human, he was a vampire.
She remembered the times they had together. They were flirting with each other, not to mention that they would chase each other around places. She looked down at the locket she carried with her as her memories continued going through her mind. The locket was opened and a picture of Buffy and Angel were there, smiling with happiness. She smiled as she then heard the sound of someone. She turned around slowly to see Angel watching her. He walked down the stairs and sat next to her. His left arm went around her shoulders as he saw the picture of Buffy and Angel. The look of love was on each other's face as they both kissed at the time. Buffy looked up to his face. She put her left hand on his cheek and brushed it. She smiled seeing that Angel did the same thing. Angel then tilted his head toward Buffy and the lips touched.
Both felt ecstatic and free; free from the real world and into a world of imagination, where both a vampire and a vampire slayer could live in tranquil harmony. Buffy broke away the kiss and looked at Angel. A tear came out of her right eye as it dripped down to her shirt. She hugged Angel very tightly. However, Angel started coughing.
"Buffy, I can't breathe," he said.
Buffy understood and released her grasp. Angel smiled as both lay on the grass of her front yard.
"I feel… very happy that I fell in love you," said Angel with a wink.
Buffy nodded and smiled, "So do I."
Angel craned his head toward Buffy as she saw the locket in her hand.
"Whatever happens, I will always belong to you," she said.
Angel nodded, "I hope so."
With that said, both kissed on the lips and fell asleep in each others arms…
