Light flooded into the motel room way too early.

"Come on, Sam. Up and at 'em," Dean sounded way too awake. Especially considering he'd been out all of last night.

"I was up doing research," Sam shoved his head under a pillow. "Let me sleep."

"The sun is shining. The birds are singing. It's a beautiful day and we're missing it. Seize the day, Sammy. Let's go kill something evil."

Sam just looked at Dean with one eye partly open.

"If we get done early enough, I've got another date with the 'Amazing Audrey' from last night. I tell ya, the things that woman can do. She's got a sister, too. I talked to Audrey and she thinks her sister would agree to go out with you. "

"Dean-"

"She shares some of the same talents as her sister," Dean wiggled his eyebrows.

Sam groaned and hid his head.

"It's not like you see these talents every day, Sam."

"You'd think you did," Sam's muffled voice made it to Dean's ears.

"I think I just attract those with special abilities. It's a gift."

Sam knew without looking that Dean's mind had wandered past their motel room and he had that trademark smirk on his face. At least that meant his mind was off Sam for the meanwhile.

Just a few more winks and he might be able to stomach Dean's tales of glory that he was bound to hear throughout the day.
