Black Roses Red
They had done it again. They had gotten into another stupid argument. It was a small issue too. Why did they have to argue over something so small? It had solved nothing. It just wasted time.
He had taken it personally too, and left the cabin he and the others were staying at for the night. Everyone was sleeping, except for Kagome. She cradled her head into her arms, "I'm such a fool. I'm the worst. How could I have taken out all my anger on Inuyasha? Now he's left…"
Can I ask you a question, please?
Promise you won't laugh at
me?
Honestly I'm standing here, afraid I'll be betrayed…
She was already imagining it. He had gone off far away just to cool himself off. He needed time alone. He needed to get away from her for a while. "I can't blame him…I guess…" she told herself. More tears began to stream down her cheeks. It felt like someone was squeezing the life out of her heart. It was hard for her to breathe. She needed him right now. She needed him. It was all too obvious.
As twisted as it seems, I only feel love when it's in my dreams
So let in the morning light
and let the darkness fade away...
She wiped her cheeks once more, and went out into the blizzard without anything to keep her warm. She didn't care. She just needed to see him. Her feet kept disappearing under all the snow. She could barely see anything. The blizzard kept blocking her view of the road. She finally came to the conclusion that she was lost, and that she was never going to find him.
Can you turn my black roses red?
Can you turn my black roses
red?
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, ooh oh oh la, la, la,
la, la, la, un huh, la la la hmmmmm
She started feeling dizzy. It was much too cold for her. Her teeth started to chatter. She felt like her ankles were going to collapse if she took another step. "No, I have to keep going," she told herself. "I need to find Inuyasha."
Drowning in my loneliness
How long must I hold my breath?
So
much emptiness inside, I could fill the deepest sea
She continued on, facing the storm. "I'm going to get frost bite on my legs," she told herself. Now she's wishing she had gotten something warm to wear before she went to face this terrible storm.
I reach to the sky as the moon looks on
One last year has come
and gone
It's time to let your love rain down on me
It was no use. She couldn't find him anywhere. I'm never going to find him, she thought to herself. I'm never going to find him…Darkness in her eyes began to consume her. She couldn't go any farther. She felt weak, helpless, scared, sad…
Can you turn my black roses red?
'Cause I feel like I'll
blame it on love
' Cause I feel like I'll blame it on love
I can't go any farther…Inuyasha…forgive me…She began to fall. She was about to faint, until she was caught by two strong arms. Someone. Someone was holding her tightly in their arms, pulling her into their chest to embrace her. She felt hair, brush against her pale cheeks. It was silver. She found him. She finally found him. "Because I feel like I'll blame it on love…" she whispered the last line of the song. "Don't, please Kagome…" he begged her. "Don't blame it on love. I've always loved you; from the very beginning. And I hope you still love me too…" She gathered up her strength to look at him once more, "Inuyasha, I will always love you. That's a promise…" Then she fainted, with a smile on her face.
