Throughout its existence, XCOM has recruited many notable people in its fight against the Ethereal Collective. Dawn Conley is one such- an eighteen year old straight out of high school, with extremely high telepathic capabilities, and carries a unique skill only a few can master-biopathy. This is her story. Earth changed so much after X-COM'S Victory fifteen years ago. A lot bad, some good as City 31 prospers. While society moves on, some struggle. Especially for Sam who's past impacted him as a child from the war festers in world of Human and Alien despite how much he tries otherwise. But an unorthodox confrontation with an X-COM Reclamation Viper may steer his life a new direction.

Nobody said defeating advent would be easy, but one could hope it would be over quickly. It has been four years since the sharpshooter Warlock joined Xcom, and despite constant success it seems Advent is no nearer defeat than when they started. Now, as the tides turn and everything starts to go wrong, he begins to question if Xcom can win this war. Or if they need a new approach.

A Commander returned and the war revamped. Let's hope these new soldiers can handle the stress and loss of combat. What new allies await? What new tales to be told? More importantly, can we win? Violence and cursing and a good dose of insanity.

When aliens begin an invasion of Earth, the XCOM project is activated in a desperate attempt to slow the incursion and save humanity. The world broke in the past thirteen years of Advent occupation; scattered remnants of camps, patrolling Advent units in the wild, groups of scavengers. It is clear to Luis, an ex-military survivor, that the world has truly lost its way. Alas, there is a certain wonder to the experience of consciousness, one that a viper, freshly separated from Advent, will not let go to waste.

The Elders wanted a poster unit, something to show humanity they could be trusted, and so the 77th Human Volunteer Group was born.
