I looked beside me, only to see the person who I wanted to see sleeping beside me. Slowly, I hesitated to kiss him, but I eventually kissed on his cheek in return for being his care.
I feel like we're closer nowadays. I look at her, only to see her smiling at me. I turn away, blushing. Now, I noticed we have switched roles. I noticed it is time for my question to be answered. Is she the one who I love?
He turned away because I looked at him. I don't feel pain in my heart, since I saw a hint of red on his cheeks. I feel like I know more of him by his words and actions. Now, I know this is love, not some crush or admiration.
I stood beneath the tree she slept on. My forehead was burning up. I must've caught her fever. My body slowly slumped down to the tree trunk, only to see her run toward me, as my eyes closed.
I ran to him as soon as I saw him tremble a bit. I placed a hand on his forehead, only to feel it burning up. As I got up to get help, he pulled me back down between his legs. His eyes shone with dizziness, but he cupped my chin in his hand and kissed me. I was surprised, but responded to his kiss. After we came up for air, he held me closer, telling me, "I love you."
I thought I was dreaming since I thought kissing her was only a mere dream. But I could feel her lips was on mine. One day, I looked at her. When she looked at me, she quickly turned away, her face a bright crimson color. I suddenly remembered what happened, my face also turning crimson.
I felt someone's eyes on me, so I looked who was behind me. When we locked eyes, I quickly looksed away, knowing my face was turning red. I still don't know if those three words he told me were true. I looked back, only too see his eyes widened.
After that incident, I confessed my love to her. In response, she kissed me with tears of happiness in her eyes. I guess it was worth all that waiting and watching.
In his eyes, I could see that he has been watching and waiting for me this entire time… His eyes only on me…
