Callous Revenge
The Maple world, so petite and small
Through my tiny excuses of eyes
Crawling around humans tall
And monsters of earthshaking size
-
I lie there, on the ground so green
Is my kind's only bleak future death?
Escaping from metal swords so mean
Then panting with several breaths
-
Then it all changed, my father was killed
By a mighty Ice Lightning Archmage
With a scornful laugh, my Mano's heart he stilled
Then he strutted away, to Henesys's village
-
Rage filled my heart, I vowed to slay
This sadistic fiend, this pathetic man
I swore to kill the Archmage one day
Using all the powers of my monster clan
-
I became Mano, and replaced my dad
I charged towards the callous beast
I barged into him shell-wise, in which I was clad
Determined to deal him some damage, at least
-
He was caught unawares, and stared in shock
I summoned the snails, and started to fight
Each futile blow he dealt was blocked
By fellow snails, and he stared in fright
-
I performed a ritual of necromantic art
I turned into something beyond even the most dark
I stood looming over him, and I chilled his heart
I banished him to the Netherworld, so ever stark
-
Then, I turned mad, possessed by grief
Killing my father's killer could not bring him back
My cruel delight after revenge was only brief
I slew my snails with slashes and hacks
-
Then I realized I was a danger to my friends
I fled from Victoria Island to Ludibrium's Forbidden Time
I rested in there, lying, waiting for the end
I lay on the ground, covered in grime
-
My father's voice then reverberated around the room
Sleep, my son. Come and join me in Paradise
I knew what to do, and I faced my doom
I fell upon my own scythe, and closed my eyes
