Once aUpon a Time
It started out once upon a time.
He fell through her roof and called it heaven and she, the naive princess believed the dashing, violet eye prince with the smile as bright as the sun.
Quickly, the prince became her knight in shinning armor. He was always there with a smile and always ready to save her from the evil of the world.
But, one day, the prince did something bad and he regretted it. That day, the princess became his knight.
Their fairytale was nothing but smile and laughs until the prince got called away. He swore to her that he'd be back and when he came back, he'd show her the sky and prove once and for all that the sky wasn't scary at all.
The princess waited and waited for her price with a smile. She wrote him letter after letter. She did this for years and as each year passed, her smile became that more fake.
It was during the fourth year that she felt it.
She looked up from her flowers as the rain fell through the whole her prince had made. Clasping her hands and bowing her head, she knew. Closing her eyes, only one tear fell. Her prince had lied. He wasn't coming home.
And it didn't end with happily ever after.
