First Kiss -
A version of what they were thinking when Grace kissed Josh in episode 6
Grace and Josh are supposed to be searching the building, Grace earlier made a tantalising statement to Josh, a tease effectively, that he doesn't know everything about her. He now takes the bait;
Josh; " so tell me something I don't know about you then...."
Grace smiles at him. He has a serious, expectant look, hmm, she thinks, incredibly sexy !
I've got
his attention now.... She holds his gaze, he's not going to look away
nor say anything. God, she thinks, I'm off the deep-end now , there's
no going back !
She smiles at him, commits herself, takes a step
forward and walks towards him as confidently as she can but it's a
bluff. She's incredibly nervous, terrified.
She stops in front of him. Does he know what to expect she wonders to herself.
Josh is delighted with her playful, confident smile as she approaches him. This is looking good, he thinks to himself. He was tempted to walk up to her but now he's glad that he didn't, it's a pleasure to watch her walk those few metres. She's certainly got guts, he thinks to himself. Very cute, sexy......
What's he expecting ? Maybe a tease, a smart comment, even a slap in the face.... anything is possible here. He's tempted to grab hold of her whilst she's right in front of him, its very difficult to resist, but no, this is a game, best to let her play her card first, wait and see....
She's committed now, this is the moment. She's been tempted before but she stopped short, it's now or never, go for it girl, she thinks to herself. Damn, he's tall, I can barely reach him ! Is he expecting this ?
She kisses
him, straight for the lips, no holding of hands, caresses on the
neck....
Josh thinks; ahh, a kiss ! Excellent result ! A real
kiss too ! passionate, committed, love it...
He returns it with passion, nothing else matters right now, who cares if anyone walks in, they don't exist...
She thinks; he's a good kisser ,
this was the right move to make...
She takes a peek up at his
eyes, he has them closed !
Josh is thinking; she's got spunk, she's gorgeous !
She caresses the back of his neck, he puts his hands around her slim waist, across her back, pulls her closer to him.
Their radios go off......it's the conversation between Lawson and Leon about entering the animal lib building...its annoying.
The moment is over already, back to reality. They move out of the embrace, stare at each other, still standing centimetres apart. She smiles at him. He winks at her.
"Nice" he says, "very nice move, I'm impressed, couldn't have done it better myself !" and he laughs in a playful ( not mocking ) way ( as he does later in this episode when they are walking along the corridor having their 'serious' discussion ).
She reprimands him; " Josh ! ...... Don't !". She's trying to get all serious again, all professional.
He's wondering if she's having second thoughts now. He looks at her questioningly. She smiles in embarrassment under his questioning gaze.
No, he thinks to himself, even if she's having second thoughts, I can win her over !
Cut back to the episode where they are standing together and Lawson asks Josh for advice.
