Severus Snape was walking around his dungeons once again. He had been revealed as a spy, and had spent many hours in recovery. He was furious that he wasn't important to the war effort anymore. Spying was the only thing that made him seem redeemed. He was met by a great surprise when he walked into Grimmauld Place though.
Severus came face-to-face with his bastard of a father. The man who had beat him, starved him, and killed his mother.
"Boy, get down here!" Tobias Snape called as he downed another bottle of Firewhiskey.
A young Severus came running downstairs, knowing it was best not to cross his father. He still had the long, silky, black hair, and hooked nose, but was thinner than ever.
"Get me more booze, boy!" Tobias boomed.
"We don't have anymore, and we haven't any money to buy it with!" Severus said quickly, backing away into the corner, knowing full well what was awaiting him.
He heard his father get up and his mother was holding him by now.
"Please, Tobias, no!" She sobbed holding onto Severus.
"Our son. Our Severus." She whispered.
As soon as she had said his name, Tobias Snape brought down the bottle, about to hit Severus in the head, when Eileen threw herself in front of Severus, taking the full blow.
The bottle had hit her hard and the glass shards were buried in her neck. She was killed instantly, Severus watching his mother bleed to death on the carpet of their small home.
"Mum! No!" Severus sobbed, holding onto her, not caring whether or not the blood got on him. The only person who had ever loved him was gone.
He was so focused on somehow saving her that he didn't notice Tobias coming up in back of him holding……..
