The end of the road

The feeling that it was coming to an end and there was absolutely nothing that could be done.
He knew he had tried, his little brother had done everything he could think of, even try to sell his soul.
But it was to late. With just hours left on the clock Dean for once didn't know what to do. Whether he was to hug Sam and tell him everything was going to be alright, But that would mean lying to him. That was something he desperately didn't want. If there was one thing he could control it would be to leave his brother with a clean slate. No argument or tears, But he did want to leave just a little bit of himself behind, he just didn't know what.
Dean knew it was going to be hard to leave him and Sam where so close, but it was better that he die than Sammy. He would tough it out and make the best of what time he had left.
