'Naïve'

As Tayend pushed Dannyl down gently into the chair, the magician looked up at the other expectantly, not sure what to make of the situation. In response, Tayend leaned down and pressed his lips against Dannyl's.

After a few seconds, the blond broke the contact and softly laughed at Dannyl's face.

"It was a time we did something about your naivety in regard to what you've gotten yourself into with me."

'Revenge'

Dannyl's eyes glimmered with something Tayend couldn't quite recognize. Yet maybe, their current position might have had something to do with it. Uncharacteristically, Dannyl whisked Tayend away down to their room the moment he arrived at the library. Now, Tayend found himself pinned underneath the much taller, and heavier, magician.

Slowly, so as not to alert Dannyl, Tayend softly said, "What's gotten into you?"

With a grin on his face, Dannyl lifted himself onto his knees with Tayend between them. Untying the sash of his robes, he replied:

"Revenge."

'Agony'

Dannyl hated nightmares. They made him relive every single time he was left beaten in the forest as a novice, falling asleep to agonizing pain and waking up with the dirt to greet him. Yet even more so than the physical pain, the loneliness was what hurt him the most. No one came to look for him. No one cared to find him. No one bothered to notice the absence of one of the eye sores of the perfectly structured guild.

Now however, all grown up, he was rarely bothered by the nightmares anymore, because when he woke up, Dannyl wasn't facing the dirt floor of the forest or the bleak wall of his small room. Wrapping his arm tighter around the still-sleeping Tayend, he knew what greeted him in the mornings now was the most beautiful sight in the world and nothing in the world could change that.

'Liquid'

Today was a rainy day. However, a little liquid never hurt anyone, now did it?

Bag over shoulder, hood up, and armed with an umbrella, Dannyl didn't take two steps outside the gate of the apartments before a speeding car raced past him. As luck would have it, it sent all the liquid collected under the gutter of the streets onto him, thoroughly soaking through his clothes and very likely the contents of his bag.

Cursing all the luck in the world, Dannyl prepared to shuffle back inside the doors when he realized the speeding car was backing up to him. Narrowing his eyes, ready to let out a barrage of insults, Dannyl slowly watched as the car door opened and a harassed looking blond man jumped out, speaking before he even closed the door.

"Hey, I am so sorry about that! I-I didn't see you there, and you know, my sis, well, she's having her baby today, I just got the call a little while ago, and you know, I was rushing, and—" At that the man seemed to run out of breath as his mind finally caught up with him. "Here—my number." He quickly pulled out a pen and scrawled the numbers on the back of Dannyl's hand. "Call me tomorrow and I'll make this up to you, alright? Oh, right. I'm Tayend by the way!" With that, Tayend jumped back in the car, and in under five seconds was nothing but a disappearing image on the road.

Dannyl however was still rooted to the same spot, with the same expression he had when the man first jumped out of the car.

Making a mental note to cancel any and all plans tomorrow, Dannyl made his way back into the building to get a fresh change of clothes, debating whether his luck was just bad enough to be good.
