Amu
It wasn't long ago that it happened. Really, just a few minutes. Ran, Miki, Suu, and Dia all disappeared, but it wasn't just them. When we defeated Easter Ikuto also disappeared. After the battle, he hugged me tight not letting me go, and then he just disappeared. In fact, when I looked up, everyone was gone. I was alone on the top of the tower in the amusement park. It frightened me. I called everyone's name; no answer.
"Ikuto! Tadase! Rima! Utau! Yaya!"
Still, no answer. Each time I called a name I got more and more frightened. I had to find them. I had too. I ran to the elevator door and pushed the button to go down. I heard the creaks and screeches of the elevator crawling its' way up to the top; where I was. Then all of the sounds stopped.
BOOM!
CRASH!
The elevator doors were opening slowly. I didn't want to know what was behind them so I ran. I ran for the steps as fast as I could run. Down and down the steps winded. It seemed endless but I knew it wasn't. I ran quickly down the steps but being careful so I wouldn't trip. I heard a howl at the top of the tower. The howl of dog that seemed sad, it kept howling and howling. Tears were starting to flow; I had to hold them back. If I let them go, the dog would track me. That's why it was howling, it's looking for someone; me. I finally reached the bottom. I had to keep running even though my legs felt as if they would give if they had to move any more. I seemed to be running in circles, passing by the same games and rides over and over again. The exit was the only way out. This was a dream. I knew it had to be.
I stopped suddenly when I passed a carousel. It was the same carousel that I had first seen ikutos' transformation into the Death Rebel. How had it appeared here? It didn't belong in this park! I heard another howl but this time it was closer and seemed to keep getting closer. Being scared never left me for a second. How? How was there a dog whose howl was sad? How did the carousel appear here? Why did my friends disappear? Why am I here? These never ending questions kept racing through my head.
The carousel lit and started to spin. That goofy tune was playing too. Soon everything around it started to light and make loud sounds. I couldn't bare it. It was too loud and I could barely hear myself think. It calmed me but also made my heart race even more. Maybe this was good! I awoke my legs and started running once more. Every game, ride, and other stand lit when passed. I turned many corners looking for the exit. Just as I saw a light at the end of the row of game stands I heard the howl again. It was really close I could feel it. I pleaded my legs to go faster. Nearly to the end I started seeing a figure. Ikuto! I ran even faster than I ever had before.
"Ikuto!" I called.
"Ikuto!" I called again. He still didn't reply.
The figure as I ran closer got farther and farther away. Even though I got closer to the exit, the figure was still moving away faster than I was getting closer.
"Ikuto! Wait! Please! Wait!" I yelled.
Still he was moving away. The exit was just in front of me and the figure there was not Ikuto and not anybody I knew, or was it? No. It was the dog; the wolf. It was big, black, and had an X on its forehead. It busted out running toward me. I screamed and tried to run back into the amusement park. It was too fast for me. It caught up in no time flat. This time, it didn't howl but it snarled, barked, and then everything went black.
