She was always just Macy to me. The way she wore her clothes or her hair were just the same as the other girls. But I never knew she had something more. Macy had her own world, full of the unknown. Other guys would have said she was odd, But to me she was always just Macy, Even though she would never be the same again.
And here are story begins.
After the accident nothing was the same. Macy was never the same. She had given up on her dreams. Macy spent her days sulking in all her sorrow. She did not care if Stella worried or if Joe got a haircut, or if even I Nick of Jonas was choking on a banana peel.
I remember the day she changed. It was the day where everything slowed down. The day when she realized it was all over. Big crowds covered the soccer field. I remember the screams, and hearing "Macy was shot!" At that very moment I tried my hardest to make Macy feel like she was still herself, to make her feel like she could still play a sport. But it seemed like the wheelchair was talking and not her.
I miss Macy sometimes but she will get through this with my help. Being paralyzed will not hold her back now.
