A/N- This is just a brief one-shot featuring a Booth/Bones. Maybe some Angela/Jack. I hope you like it!

It was the end of the day. Another case finished, another set of bones identified. Booth walked onto the pavilion, where Brennen was preparing another body for examination.

"Bones, its like ten at night. Do you really have to identify those remains tonight?" Booth asked. "Why don't you come with me and your squints, we're going out for breakfast at night."

Something in Booth's tone told Bones that he wanted more than just to eat. But they had finished the case, they had won, so the always rational Dr. Temperance Brennen decided to do the irrational thing. She went to the diner with her friends. Angela and Hodgins were sitting together, flirting, though they were not together...yet.

The night was getting late and the two lovebirds left, leaving Brennen and Booth sipping coffee. It was the end. The end of the day. The end of the case. But it was the beginning too. The beginning of the night. The beginning of a new stage in the partner's relationship. This night, they would walk to Brennen's house and collapse on the couch. They would sit and watch pointless TV, each paying attention only to the other. Exchanging glances they would look into the others eyes. They found that there was nothing was more comfortable than sitting together.

It is hard to say, who started the kiss, or if either started the kiss at all. "Maybe it was just fate." Booth would later say. "That I kissed you and you kissed me. It was meant to be, Bones." And she would blush and reply, "There is no such thing as fate." and go into a description of why they felt the way they did for each other. Booth would look at her lovingly, whenever they started this conversation, until she finished her squint speak. Eventually he he would silence her with a kiss, and she would laugh.

"I love you Seeley Booth!" Bones would say.

"I love you Temperance Booth!" Seeley would reply.

The sound of their joined names ringing in the air sealing their fate together.
