Please, if you have any intention of reading this story I urge you to read this forward first, it will explain a lot of things.
Everything from here on out is journals written from the point of view of my character Lune, who is a Viera. She doesn't exactly like everyone around her, and so while her view on things might be a little skewed that is only because of her personality. I get the information I use from a real-life game that I am currently playing with several friends, a game which we have chosen to call Allegiance. It is the story of several original characters in the world of Ivalice, best outlined in the game Final Fantasy XII, starting out as simple hunters and getting in way over their heads when the things they encounter go beyond their control.
The game itself is similar to Dungeons and Dragons, and in fact that classic tabletop game was the very inspiration behind Allegiance. As more characters join and eventually leave the party things can get pretty hilarious and poor Lune is just generally not amused. This game will probably be infinite until we end it at some point, which will likely be only when we have been playing for several years and are sick of the game itself.
So please, enjoy. And remember this is not an official story, this was written by fans for...Well, I would say for fans but the truth is it was written for the hilarity of it all.
