"I hate to admit it, but I Darien Chiba, am hiding behind a mask." the ebony haired man declared to his best friend Motoki.
"There, now that wasn't that hard was it?" the blonde replied.
Mamoru watched as he continued cleaning the counter. He never talked to many people, but that was because of his shady past. Everyone he was to close with ended up leaving him all alone. He vowed when his best friend Fiore left him all alone, that he would stay a lone wolf, and just live life so that no one else would get hurt including himself.
Motoki was different. He let him in to his little world when they met in school. He promised the dark haired little boy that he would never leave his side. Many years later he kept that promise, so Mamoru let him in.
"so when are you gonna take off the mask?" he was asked suddenly by his friend
"if I can help it, it will never come off." he replied
"just one day you will meet someone, and it will come down, when you least expect it."
Mamoru scoffed, " Not if I can help it."
