He took the bottle of water and poured it over her head.

She spat out the mouth full of water that has cascaded down her face. "Thanks, I was feeling a little hot."

He grinned.

"You looked a little tired," she said, grabbing the pillow behind her back. She grabbed the corners tightly and swung it over her head, hitting him over the head with it, laughing hard as she saw the stunned look on his face.

"War," he proclaimed. She laughed and hit him again, as his hands found a pillow on the couch. He swung it as her, not as forcefully as she had swung against him, but he laughed as she hit him again and again.

He was a fighter.

A warrior.

An angel.

And here he was, pillow fighting with a tiny little thing that had nothing to do with what in front of him, the obstacles he was facing in his time. He stopped, pulling her too him and for a moment he felt uncomfortable. Then he remembered his body was human, and it knew what to do with a woman.

She looked up at him, her eyes big and her lips moving as she spoke to him. She was right there. And he didn't want to let her go – even though he knew he would have to in just a few days.

"Schh," he said and put his lips to hers. She dropped the pillow, as did he, and she leaned into the kiss.

When he pulled away there was a hurt and longing in her eyes. "Tell me your real name," she begged.

"I can't."

"Please, Jimmy."

He looked into her eyes. "Piper."

"Please," she asked again. "I want to know, so I can remember you properly. " Her hand caressed the side of his face, her heart beating against his chest and her hair falling into her eyes just enough to make her look so much younger. She still had a lot to go through before she was the superwoman she would be. In a year, she would come into her powers. And he would be long gone. Back to the future.

"I can't take the risk, someday, I swear you'll understand."

"Never, not unless-" But he kissed her again. And again. And again, until they tumbled into bed.

After, he spoke softly into her ear, no louder than need be. "Castiel."
