Legend of Zelda: Shattered Mirror

Just the beginning. Trying it out to see if it works. Apologies to Amelia Hart, I was unaware that I named my story the exact same as hers, and with the same concept in mind.

I came up with this shortly after beating Twilight Princess for, oh I don't know, the seventh time maybe? Then I had the thought: How will Link Z-target without Midna? Here's what I came up with. It will continue if liked. Enjoy!

Link stared at the shattered mirror. 'What was Midna thinking?' He was snapped back to reality by Zelda.

"Link, there's nothing we can do. She's gone." Link shook his head, "I won't accept that. There has to be a way to connect the worlds again. How did this mirror come to be in the first place? Someone had to build it in order for it to exist. We can build it again."

"Link, the mirror was created by the Godesses. Mortal men did nothing in the creation of the mirror."

"But if it was in the Godesses design for us to meet..."

"No. There is nothing we can do. Forget her, Link!" And Zelda left, leaving Link alone in the mirror chamber. The sages looked on, silent as the grave.
