Hi everybody! I have finally aquired my own account (a gazzilion thanks to hjaltalin's owl for sharing hers with me until I could get this one) and I am reposting all my stories here. Please enjoy!

'Let Him Go'
Yellowfang watched as Spottedleaf sat on a boulder, gazing downward through the stars to the world below. She didn't notice Yellowfang watching her; she was too focused on the flame-colored warrior in the clan below. She could be found here every night.
"Spottedleaf?" Yellowfang called.
"Hmmmm?" Spottedleaf replied, turning to look at her fellow spirit. Her eyes were troubled.
"What are you doing here?" Yellowfang asked curtly.
"I'm worried. Firestar-"
"Can live without you. You can't keep going to see him every time he gets worried. Worrying is part of being a leader and he knows that."
"But-"
"No. You have to stop visiting his dreams, Spottedleaf. Let him move on. He has a mate now, a family. Let him go and stop invading his personal space."
Spottedleaf lowered her eyes, shoulders slumping.
"I love him, Yellowfang." she murmured. Yellowfang shook her head.
"You're dead, kit. He's not. Let him live." and she turned and padded back into the starry woodland, leaving Spottedleaf to think over her words.
"She's right, you know."
Spottedleaf looked around as a silver-grey she-cat with blue eyes emerged from the bushes and padded toward her. "You can't keep holding on to him forever. You have to let him go." Feathertail leapt up on the boulder to sit beside Spottedleaf, wrapping her tail around her paws.
"I- I can't." Spottedleaf murmured. "I love him."
Feathertail nodded. "I know. I love Crowfeather too. And it's because I love him I have to let him go. I won't force him to choose. I want him to be happy."
` Spottedleaf looked away. "I know." she whispered.
"Then let Firestar be happy. Don't make him choose between you and Sandstorm. Don't do that to him."
Spottedleaf sighed. "I'll try."
Feathertail nodded. "You'll be alright."
"You're sure?" Spottedleaf whispered.
Feathertail gave a humorless laugh. "You'll survive. And he'll be happy."
Spottedleaf looked at her for a moment, then looked back down at the clan beneath them. Were they right? Would it be better if she just let him go? "He- he calls me." she whispered.
Feathertail nodded. "You always answer. You remind him of the past. But he can't keep looking back."
"He'll miss me."
"For a while. He'll call you in dreams and ask you why you aren't there. But he'll be alright. And after a while he'll be able to move on completely. And you have to let him do that." Feathertail gave her a comforting nudge with her tail, and jumped down from the boulder to vanish into the woodland once more.
Spottedleaf sighed again and closed her eyes as Yellowfang and Feathertail's voices whispered in her head,
"You have to let him go."
