Jinchuurikis
Chapter 1
"Hey Naruto," Sakura smiled at the blond haired boy sitting beside her prized possession. "Uh… y-yes, Sakura-chan," the boy wavered. Here was he sitting and wondering how to get the pretty pink-haired girl's attention when she comes right over to talk to him. "Thank you, Kami-sama. "Do you think that maybe you could move so that I can get to sit beside Sasuke-kun? "Oh, sure Sakura-chan. Anything for y- Wait. What? You want me to move?" "Well yeah," Sakura replied. "You never thought that I was actually going to ask to sit with you, right?"
No answer. Realizing the impending verbal thrashing, the rest of kids in the class began to pay attention. Seeing her audience, Sakura took this as an opportunity to show Sasuke that she was his and also to embarrass Naruto and put him in his place.
"Jeez, Naruto, you're such an idiot. You're ugly, worthless and weak. You could never be like Sasuke-kun. Ever." At this, the other kids started jeering and laughing. Sasuke smirked. Naruto glared at him then reverted back to him dilemma. Sakura. She was mean to him and always treated him like dirt. 'Well, not anymore.'
"Well," Naruto began slowly, "of course I'm not." Sakura listened with the rest. Her head held high, haughtily and mockingly.
"I'm trash. A nobody who never lived in his own house and doesn't even know who his parents are. I never had many friends except a few. I was shunned away by society, a village I called home."
"I was also wrong. I thought maybe if I came here I'd meet people who cared but you're all like the rest. Mean, cruel, terrible are words that would describe you perfectly. Excepting for Shika, Chouji, Shino and KIba and Hinata-chan I wish I could never see you again."
At this everyone was silent. Faces ashamed, realizing how bad they acted. Naruto opened up to continue. "That's enough, Naruto," a voice came from the door. Iruka, their sensei had come back and he happened to hear everything that had gone on.
"Everyone back to their seats. Now." At this moment the class was so quiet it was too loud a silence. Everyone quickly shuffled back to their seats. Naruto then picked up his things and went to the back of the class, while Sakura took his seat.
After class, Iruka went to the hokage tower to report what had transpired in his classroom. 'Hmm,' the hokage murmured, 'is that so?'
'Yes my lord, 'Iruka replied, 'well that is all I have to say.' 'Good. You are dismissed.' 'Hai, Hokage-sama.' With that Umino Iruka let the office.
'Hey, Jiraiya,' the hokage called out. 'Yes?' A voice replied outside his window. 'How would you like to have an apprentice to take with you?' 'Depends.' A man with long, white, spiky hair and a drunken look on his face appeared.
'It depends,' Jiraiya repeated, 'on who it is.' 'It's Uzumaki Naruto, a jinchuuriki, the hokage smiled, knowing that his student would take in the child. 'Oh yes,' Jiraiya replied, grinning wickedly, 'I'll definitely take him.' 'Then go get ready for your new student while I send for Naruto,' the hokage concluded. 'Naruto, your life will now take on a new meaning.' Chuckling, he focused back on his work then began to groan, seeing all the pile of papers on and beside the desk.
