Through the eyes of a lover.

A series of 1 minute drabbles about Lily and James. Starting in first year and ending in seventh.

9 3/4 James stood with his parents, surveying the platform from where he would embark on the life altering journey to Hogwarts. Everywhere around him there were young and old witches and wizards, saying goodbye to family members, both tearfully and gladly. Here and there an owl would sit in it's cage, bored of the chatter, occasionally adding it's soft hooting to the cacophany of sound that made it nearly impossible to hear yourself think. A flash of brilliant red caught James' eyes, drawing his gaze to a pretty redheaded girl standing with her parents. She appeared to be crying, James' wanted to go over and hug her. "James you better get on the train sweetheart. It's nearly time to go." James' mother called his attention back to her, away from the tearful girl. She was forgetten until later, with goodbyes claiming all of his attention. This was it. Hogwarts finally.
