Disclaimer: I do not own Monk, nor do I own eHarmony.

The world was conspiring against him. It had to be. That was the only explanation Mr. Monk could think of, and it seemed like a sound one to him.

How was the world conspiring against him? Simple. They were ruining channel ten by broadcasting a migraine-worthy e-Harmony commercial on it! The fact that they used the even number four for their "special weekend event" made no difference.

Whoever had the idea to play that commercial on his channel needed to be the victim of the next homicide he was asked to look into. Though he was sure he would conveniently miss evidence that would lead to the killer if that happened. After all, by murdering whoever had that idea, the killer would be helping society, and his sanity, out.

As Natalie walked in an hour later, she saw Mr. Monk staring dejectedly at the television screen, but decided not to ask. She wasn't sure she wanted to know anyways.
