Several Minutes earlier:

Amity, Luz, Willow, and Gus were led into the skull by Hunter. He was the best option to get them in, he was the Golden Guard after all, of course he would bring "prisoners" to Belos.

"Remember, this may be the biggest battle of our lives." Hunter said, "There's no telling what we'll see, but we need to stop him."

"As long as Eda and the others are able to stop the draining spell, we'll be good." Luz said, gripping her backpack tightly, "We need to keep going, I doubt it will be easy to get to him, he probably has guards blocking the entrance. Hunter, you know everything about Belos, what can we expect?"

"He has magic unlike anything I've ever seen, capable of performing spells without a spell circle." Hunter explained, "And there's also something he can do, I've been told it's a curse from wild witches, but I'm beginning to think that he did it to-"

Hunter began to groan and held his wrist. He fell to his knees and the group surrounded him.

"Hunter, are you okay!?" Luz asked.

Hunter took off his cloak and mask, hoping that will help get some more air, but that didn't help. Luz pulled Hunter's glove off and saw his Coven Sigil glowing and slowly creeping up on his arm.

"What's going on?" Willow asked, looking at the sigil.

Luz's eyes went wide.

"That draining spell." Luz said, "We need to stop him, now!"

"Luz, what about Hunter, he can barely walk!" Gus said.

Luz looked at Hunter and then at the path that leads to the entrance of Belos' hide out.

"You try and help him, I'm going to try and stop him!" Luz said.

"Luz... wait... there's something you need to-"

Luz didn't hear Hunter's warning as she shifted and ran down the path.

"Luz!" Amity called out.

Present:

Luz ran until she arrived at a large door. She shifted back and opened the door, seeing Belos standing in front of the portal, now wearing a blue jacket and his hair was tied into a ponytail.

"So, that's the infamous portal I keep hearing about." Luz said.

"Indeed." Belos said, "Did you know, I've been alive for over 400 years. In that time, I've seen things that some people will never see."

"Really?" Luz asked, "Like what?"

Belos smirked and turned around.

"Well, why don't I show you?" Belos said.

Belos pulled out several slips of paper. Luz didn't look too nervous, until the papers crumbled and Belos threw ice spikes at her. Luz quickly rolled out of the way as the spikes hit the wall behind her. Luz looked at Belos in shock.

"This is the original magic of the Isles." Belos said, "Glyph magic. Amazing isn't it? It took me decades to find them all, almost like the Titan was hiding them from me."

Luz stood up and glared at Belos.

"You're not a witch at all, are you?" Luz asked.

"Hm, you're a smart one." Belos said, "You've probably heard of me. The name is Philip Wittebane."

"Philip WIttebane? THE Philip Wittebane!?" Luz said, "They said you went missing."

"I went searching for my brother. He was lured to this realm, by these filthy creatures." Belos said, "I plan to eradicate them."

"These 'Filthy creatures' as you call them, took me in when I was hurt, comforted me when I was sad, and have been by my side since I got here." Luz said, "If you want to eradicate them, you have to get through me first."

Belos chuckled.

"Cute, but I'm sure you already know what's going on. The Draining Spell? Everyone with a sigil will soon be dead." Belos said, "And I will return home... all thanks to your little Titan."

"What did you do with King!?" Luz demanded, feeling her heart race at the realization that King wasn't near Belos, "If you so much as touch his head I will rip you to shreds!"

"Oh, I didn't do much." Belos said, looking at the door, "I just took some blood and then... wanted to see if he was one of the flying Titans."

Luz remembered the bridge she had to go over in order to get here. She felt her fist clench and her breathing got erratic. She looked at Belos and her eyes changed to her panther eyes.

"AAAHHH!" Luz screamed as she ran at Belos.

She began running on four legs and shifted into her panther form. She lunged at Belos, who became a black figure and separated. Luz went right through him. Luz landed and was immediately attacked by hundreds of crows. They began pecking at her and sinking their talons into her. Luz shifted back from the pain, which only made the pain worse. The crows flew away and reformed into Belos. Luz's skin had red marks from where the crows pecked at her, some of the spots were bleeding and she had blood coming from where the crows talons cut her skin. Belos walked up and smirked at her.

"I've spent hundreds of years, learning about magic and how to defeat evil." Belos said, "I also learned a lot about how to improve my own Spirit Animal."

Belos grabbed Luz's bag and held her up, before slamming her down, making Luz groan as her vision began to get fuzzy.

"I figured that a simple crow wouldn't be able to survive here, not on his own." Belos lifted Luz again and slamming her to the ground again, "I heard of legends that could help."

He lifted and slammed Luz to the ground again.

"I tracked each of them down."

He lifted and slammed Luz again.

"Every one of them was a fraud, myth, or trap."

He lifted and slammed Luz again.

"I figured that I would never survive, that I would never achieve my goal... until I found the Collector."

He lifted and slammed Luz again.

"He taught me secrets that I could never have imagined." Belos said.

He lifted Luz up again, but her bag straps ripped. He looked at the bag and threw it behind him. He turned and looked away from Luz.

"I was taught how to strengthen my Spirit Animal abilities, managing to create a hive mind effect and multiply myself into multiple crows. A murder, if you will."

Luz began to drag herself away, blood beginning to drip from her forehead. Luz looked at a table in front of her and saw a glove with a Coven Sigil on it. While Belos went to the eye socket and looked out at the carnage he created, Luz grabbed the glove and laid on top of it.

"I was also taught how to perform the Draining Spell, and how to create Grimwalker's." Belos said, "Shame they all seem to betray me, just like him!"

"That might just be... because you're... a shitty boss." Luz said, before coughing.

Belos walked over to her and smiled.

"But I also learned how to do something else."

Belos grabbed the back of Luz's head and held up a finger. A red circle was formed and Luz's eyes began to glow white. Luz opened her mouth and white smoke began to emerge from it. It was a full minute before it stopped. Belos smirked as the smoke began to move passed him. He dropped Luz.

"Tell me, where's your courage now?" He asked.

"W-w-what... what did you do to me?" Luz asked, feeling helpless and scared for some reason.

"Simple... I removed your Spirit Animal." Belos said, kneeling next to her, "Like I said, I learned a lot."

"Yeah... so did I." Luz said.

Luz rolled over and slammed the branding glove right into Belos' face. Belos was knocked back and held the right side of his face as the sigil began to move across it. Luz grabbed Belos' sleeve and pulled him close, delivering a, rather weak, punch. Belos stumbled and his sleeve ripped off, revealing dozens of glyphs carved onto his arm. Belos glared at Luz, before noticing what she was looking at.

"What? Looking at this?" He asked, holding his arm up, "It was bad... but it did come with benefits. Observe."

Belos' skin began to bubble, before turning green and... slimy. Belos began to become a giant, gooey, monster. Belos roared at Luz and Luz began to try and run. She slipped a bit and had to crawl on her hands before she was able to get on her feet. She ran, with Belos on her heels. Luz ran as fast as she could, but Belos swiped at her, knocking her to the ground. Luz rolled on the ground and came to a stop next to her bag. Belos walked over to her.

"My offer still stands." Belos said, "Join me, and I can bring you back home. I can reunite you with your mother."

"No... my mother would rather me be stuck here forever than help someone commit genocide!" Luz said.

"Then so be it." Belos said, "You can die with them!"

Belos raised his arm, about to bring it down and slice Luz into pieces, when he was hit by something large and purple. Belos looked and saw an Abomination tiger, with light purple skin, and dark purple stripes. The tiger roared in Belos face, while Gus ran up to Luz, while Willow had Hunter's arm over her shoulder to help him walk.

"Luz, are you okay?" Gus asked.

"I... I don't think I am." Luz said, grabbing her bag and holding it close.

She opened it and let out a sigh of relief at seeing her palisman egg was okay. She heard a painful roar and saw the abomination tiger being thrown off of Belos and hit the wall. The abomination goo melted away, revealing Amity.

"Amity!" Luz said.

Amity groaned as she tried to pick herself up. Belos grabbed her and held her up.

"I'll start with you!" Belos said.

Belos got ready to slice at Amity, when Hunter moved away from Willow and summoned his pasliman staff. He teleported to Amity and grabbed her, before teleporting away from Belos with Amity. Hunter fell to his knees after that, struggling to fight against the coven sigil.

"Hunter, look out!" Gus said.

Hunter looked up, just in time to be hit by Belos. Hunter was knocked back, only to be grabbed by Belos and pulled back so he was facing Belos.

"Hunter, you'd betray me!?" Belos said.

"Y-y-you betrayed the world." Hunter growled.

Belos' eyes traveled to the Palisman and he became enraged.

"Caleb!?"

Belos was suddenly hit by large vines, forcing him back and dropping Hunter. Amity use her abominations to catch Hunter and helped him get away, while Willow summoned vine after vine, keeping Belos distracted.

"Without my Spirit Animal, I don't know how I can help." Luz said, backing into the table.

She looked down and saw a book. She grabbed the book and opened it. Inside contained pages filled with notes, glyphs, glyph combos, most likely everything that Belos has had learned and planned since he arrived. Luz picked up several pieces of paper and began drawing on them. When she was done, she put the book into her backpack.

"Okay, I hope this works." Luz said.

She looked at Belos and, despite her legs shaking, she ran at jumped at him. She tapped one of the pieces of paper and fire shot from it. Belos was hit by it and knocked back by it and then roared at her.

"G-G-Gus... cover me!" Luz said, shocked that she's stuttering.

"On it!" Gus said, making a spell circle.

Gus's spell resulted in dozens of Luz, this made Amity turn red, which also made Willow slap the back of her head.

"Not the time, Amity." Willow said.

Belos charged at the illusions, hitting them and making them disappear, while the real Luz was invisible because of Gus, which let her escape back to the group. Belos quickly got annoyed and slammed his arms down, shaking the ground.

"ENOUGH!" He yelled.

The ground shaking resulted in Gus' illusion fading and Luz becoming visible again. Belos walked over to her and raised a hand. Luz covered her face, too scared to look. She heard a scream and looked up, seeing Amity, who jumped in front of the attack, with strands of her shirt (I know it looks more like a dress, but the Wiki says it's a shirt) getting ripped off. Amity fell in front of Luz and had blood coming from the deep cuts from her back.

"Amity!" Luz yelled.

"L-L-Luz... are you... okay?" Amity asked, clearly in more pain than she has ever felt.

"Amity, I... it will be okay!" Luz said.

"Why must you lie?" Belos asked, "It will be long and painful."

Willow ran up and used her plants to restrain Belos, while Gus went to help Amity. Belos grabbed the plants and destroyed them. He swung at Willow, sending her flying into the wall and landing with a thud. Willow coughed up blood and her glasses were broken. Belos turned to Gus and grabbed him. He threw Gus and he collided with Hunter. The group got up, with extreme difficulty, and got together. They could barely stand, with bruised bodies, broken bones, and some with blood loss, it took a lot of effort to stay up.

"Good, huddle up and let me kill you with one attack!" Belos said.

He raised his hand, ready to end it. Everyone covered their eyes and waited for the final blow... but it never came. They looked up and saw that Belos' arm was stopped by... some... child?

"Watcha playing?"
