It's admittedly a little dumb but, I was always a fan of the show and reading something like this, could motivate me to do a game show of my own, that's bigger and better than this. A long-term plot reveals the Vidiians to be far more clever than they seem, and their newfound desire for interfering with Voyager due to recent events indicates a very different road than the one they were on (canon divergence).
