Prompt 1: Silver lining
Prompt 2: Trapped together
"So… we're trapped here for now, huh?"
Luz sighed. "I guess so."
She and Hunter had been searching the abandoned house for anything that could be used to help bring them back to the Boiling Isles. The others had stayed in the room near the door, which was a bit far from where she and Hunter currently were. They had accidentally gotten themselves trapped in one of the rooms.
In Luz's defense, she didn't know the door would jam. It just did.
Hunter sighed and slid down onto the floor. "We could try yelling again."
Luz shook her head. "It didn't work the last few times. Why would it work now?" She sat down next to Hunter.
"Call your mother?" Hunter suggested.
"No service," Luz replied.
"Then we just wait for the others to notice how long we're taking and rescue us," Hunter sighed again. He truly looked miserable.
Luz tried for a grin. "Hey, at least you're trapped here with me and not someone else. Think of the silver lining!"
"I guess so," Hunter laughed a little. "Though getting trapped with Gus would be fun."
Luz elbowed him lightly, and he grinned at her.
At least they were trapped with each other.
Though when the others finally managed to open the door, Luz and Hunter were already asleep.
