Just as Mew was about to fire a Hyper Beam…

Another Mew appears out of nowhere, probably teleporting right in, and creates a psychic bubble, which it traps the other Mew in.

"There are two of them?!" everyone yells in surprise.

"Mew~!" The one in the bubble whines.

"Mew mew mew mew mewmew mew!" while the other scolds them.

"Is that Mew using a timeout bubble?" The humans sweat-drop.

Once the Mew who made the bubble sighs, having finished scolding its kin, they reactivate the crystals with red aura. All of the wild Pokemon jump in happiness.

Then, they look towards the humans.

"Mew~…" Mew scans the humans with its psychic powers.

Something teleports, floating in front of Mew. It was the container with Mew's DNA in it.

"Hey!" Danaka yells.

With a deadpan on its face, Mew launches the container into the sky with Draco Meteor, effectively destroying it while making fireworks.

"Really?" they hear Mew speak, rolling their eyes at them.

'Telepathy?' they blink in surprise.

Then Mew goes to Gary, attracted to the remnants of Ash's aura on him, on the half poke ball on his person.

Mew uses Psychic on Gary, levitating him into the air and putting him in a bubble so they can talk in private.

Mew asks, tilting its head to the side, "Why don't you ask Chosen about the truth you're searching for?"

Gary knows who Chosen is (it's Ash), but chooses to be vague in his reply for safety reasons.

He sighs, "I don't want to bring up any bad memories. They have enough nightmares as is. I want to protect them too, after all."

Mew nods, and pops the bubble, letting Gary down.

Quillon asks, "Why did you destroy the DNA sample?"

Mew sighs, "Mewtwo is a clone of me, that's why. They've suffered enough."

"Mewtwo is…a man-made Legendary?" Goh blinks.

Mew sadly nods.

They're reminded that humans can be monsters worse than Pokemon.

Mew pops the bubble the other Mew was in, and the humans are teleported out.

Omake: "What did you and Mew talk about in there, anyway?" Horace asks.

"Well~ that's a secret!" Gary smirks.

"Secret huh…" Goh narrows his eyes.

"Uh-huh."
