At Tabletop Mountain…
They gear up to climb it when suddenly someone comes up to them.
"Ash?!" Goh yells in surprise, "Wha-what're you doing here?!"
"Ash" just smiles at them, "Oh, I'm not sure? What do you think I'm doing here?"
Gary's eyes narrow, "You're not Ash."
"Ash" giggles at him, "Correct!"
"I'm an illusion Mew created to talk to you guys~!"
Horace blinks, "Uh…why?"
"According to Mew, this is more fun than telepathy," Illusion Ash shrugs.
They're silent as they process but Illusion Ash just continues on.
"Anyway~ Mew invited you to play," he smirks, "So let's play!"
Illusion Ash disappears, and off they went.
At the end, Mew and Illusion Ash appear before them.
He waves at them.
"Uh-oh…" illusion Ash gulps as soon as the crystals' glow disappears.
The wild Pokemon start fighting each other.
"Please don't fight!" Illusion Ash yells, trying to calm the Pokemon down.
Then Mew is attacked.
"What did you do that for?!" Illusion Ash's eyes turn blue then red, glaring at them.
Mew knocks out all the other Pokemon.
"Enough!" Illusion Ash yells, stopping Mew's Hyper Beam attack.
Then he touches the crystal, and reactivates the glow.
Mew then gets the container and destroys it.
"What was that for?" Danaka asks.
"The truth?" Illusion Ash muses, "Mewtwo is a clone of Mew. I won't let them suffer at the hands of evil humans again."
"A clone…" they gulp.
Illusion Ash sighs, "I think you've overstayed your welcome. Bye~!"
Mew teleports them outside, to the base of the mountain.
Illusion Ash fades away, leaving only a red crystal in his place.
