Prologue: Vegito
The merged being of Goku, & Vegeta, hovered in air, just slightly over the cowering Majin creature, looking down upon it with his arms crossed, and a light glow of yellow surrounding his body.
"I'm bored of this. Let's end this.", the cocky fighter smirks, "I'll count to ten, and you can say your prayers."
"One. Two. Three..." Vegito began to slowly countdown putting a tremendous fear into Buu, as beads of sweat formed on the creatures brow.
"Four. Five..."
Buu began to panic, having been completely, and utterly overwhelmed, his brain racked as he tried to come up with a solution to defeat this seemingly untouchable warrior, but no matter how he looked at it, the only option he had was to absorb him. To which he hadn't even the faintest idea of how.
Just then an idea had hit him. His eyes glanced down to the ground below him, and he spotted his severed head tentacle that had cut off earlier in their battle.
The detached limb wiggled to life, and reformed into a glob of goo that began to slowly rise, behind the seemingly unaware fighter.
"Eight...", Vegito counted out loud
"Nine.", Vegito's plan was finally being put into motion as Buu had figured out to use his severed head tentacle to absorb the seemingly cocky fused saiyan before him.
Vegito silently hoped that his plan would work, "Ten!", he finished his countdown as the floating pink glob behind him expanded enough to completely cover the merged being. Buu watched on in absolute joy as Vegito was quickly engulfed by his detached glob before said glob jumped back to his body.
"Ah ha ha ha ha!" Buu slowly began to laugh before bursting out loud in utter joy of his successful victory over those cocky saiyans, completely unaware of what had really transpired.
Now deep within the body of Buu, Vegito let out a deep breath of relief at the success of his plan.
Vegito winced, and quickly plugged in his ears, "Damn he's obnoxious! How long is he gonna laugh like an idiot? It's so damn loud because I'm inside of him.".
After a few seconds, Vegito seemed to have be able to adjust to his new surroundings, "It looks like the barrier worked as well. I didn't get absorbed by him." he proudly stated to himself
"Now I can go look for Gohan, and the others. Don't know much about Buu's insides though. I hope I can find them. I hope they're alive."
He powered down, letting his barrier disperse to preserve his energy, and started walking through the body of the Majin creature.
It really didn't take all that long before Vegito had stumbled upon the cocoon imprisoned Piccolo, "It's Piccolo!" he smiles upon noticing that while seemingly unconscious, the Namekian was still alive, which meant that the boys should be alive as well.
"This is great!" he spotted the others just a short distance away from Piccolo, "They're all here. Time to cut em down." he formed an energy blade with his right hand, and began cutting the pods loose.
"Hehe." he smirks, "Looks like Buu lost quite a bit of power. Not like he stood much of a chance against me before, but now it'll just be sad.".
"Hmm." he then spots something hanging in he far back, in the same exact pods that Gohan, and the others, were imprison in. Vegito took a few steps toward this pod, only to be greeted with the face of Majin Buu.
"What does this mean? A Buu inside a Buu? He was absorbed by himself?", the fused being questioned the strange sight before him right as he remember something, or at least the Vegeta part of him remembered something.
"Right, while Vegeta was in the afterlife, he saw a skinny Buu turn the fat one into chocolate, and ate him."
"Does that mean that everyone else that got turned into chocolate are here as well?"
"No. He's the only one who got special treatment.", much to Vegitos surprise, a version of Buu began to emerge from the ground. "I knew something was going on here. So you're the one responsible."
once Buu fully popped out of the ground he clenched his fists, "I don't know how you did it, but you've managed not to get absorbed. You've also released everyone I've worked so hard to absorb! How dare you!" he angrily roared
"Guess it's time I leave this disgusting body of yours. HA!", Vegito quickly transforms into his super saiyan form, and fires a massive energy blast towards the nearest wall.
The smoke cleared, revealing only a scorched area, with no opening to speak of.
Vegito grunted in frustration, "Damn it. Guess I'll have to find another way out of here."
Buu snickers, "I actually felt that one. You're even smaller than a flea now.", Buu grins as he starts to walk closer to Vegito, "You can't beat me now. You're going to die here."
"I was beating you out there. I'll defeat you in here as well." Vegito reformed his energy blade with his right hand, unaware of how just how close his blade was to the pod right behind him, but he did notice the panic look of the Buu standing in front of him.
"Stop! Don't touch him!" Buu frightfully yells
Vegito glances back at the fat Buu behind him before turning his attention back to the Buu before him, "Heh heh." he lets out a small chuckle having decided to torment the fearful Majin, "I wonder... If I cut this Buu free, will you revert back to your skinny form, or turn back into the fat one?" he questions Buu as his energy blade hovered even closer to the pod.
Buu begged Vegito, "Don't do it! I'll cease to exist!"
The fused saiyan pondered what Buu had just said, but curiosity had gotten the better of Vegito, "Well now I'm curious. Let's find out.". Buu quickly leapt at Vegito, but the fused being was just too fast, as his energy blade made quick work of freeing the fat Buu, causing the other Buu to suddenly drop to the ground.
Vegito watched on as both Buus laid motionless before him when one of the Buus suddenly started to dissolve back into the ground from once he came from.
"Well that was weird." Vegito commented before noticing the insides of Buus body were changing
"I gotta get out here, and quickly!", Vegito powers up, "Lets see how you handle something stronger!" he cups his hands forming a massive blue orb, "Super Ka-me-ha-me-HA!" he fires a powerful, bright, blue energy beam from his hands.
A large gaping hole had been made by the massive beam, but the hole was already slowly started to shrink.
"Damn it. Hope these things aren't fragile.", he then kicked the pod containing Gohan, launching the eldest Son boy through the hole he made in Buu. Vegito then proceeded to pick up the Piccolo's pod, and quickly chuck it out the same exit.
He grabbed a hold of the pods containing Trunks, and Goten, before flying towards the shrinking hole as fast as he possible could, before spotting a bright light up ahead of himself. "Freedom!"
Vegito flew out of the self-made hole from Buu, and suddenly he grew in size back to his original size, as did everyone else he spotted floating around him, before realizing that all of them were still unconscious.
"Crap!" Vegito quickly caught everyone in a large pile in his arms before they could plummet down to the ground, and slowly floated down to drop everyone off safely onto the ground.
Dende, whom had been hiding with Mr. Satan, and the mans small dog, spotted the fused being of Goku, and Vegeta, along with everyone else that were absorbed by Buu, "They did it!" he celebrated, "Guys over here!" he stood up, and waved his arms up in the air trying to catch their attention.
Vegito had heard the young guardian, but his attention was dead set on Buu.
Instead of turning back into the fat Buu from before, or into his skinny form, now this Buu was becoming incredibly muscular, and his power wasn't decreasing either, nor was the volume of his voice.
"What the hell is happening?" Vegito grew concerned as the Majin wasn't fully done changing
Buu had finally stopped screaming, and grew eerily silent, before standing straight up. The creature froze for only a second before letting out an incredible ear-deafening screech causing the merged saiyan to cover his ears.
Buu stopped screeching, and without warning launched a small pink energy blast straight at the ground
"What the!" Vegito was caught off-guard, but quickly reacted, firing his own energy blast towards Buus, destroying the pink ball instantly.
Vegito glared over at this new version of Buu, "That was close. Are you suicidal, or something?". Vegito hovered in front of the small Majin, "If you're thinking of blowing up this planet you'll have to face me first."
Again, without warning Buu lifted his left arm up, but before any energy could form, Vegito sliced off the creatures arm, and quickly blew it up with a small energy blast as to avoid any more absorbing. One trip inside the pink creature was more than enough.
The small Buu regrew his left arm before turning its attention onto Vegito, growling at the powerful fighter in defiance as it leapt up towards Vegito, whom was easily able to block the barrage of attacks that were coming his way.
This Buu was remarkably weaker then the Buu he had faced before, but it was still a threat to the Earth.
Seeing no point in dragging this fight out, Vegito decided it was finally time to end it, and with a powerful punch to the face, Buu was sent crashing down into a nearby cliff.
"It's such a shame. You're single-handedly the most powerful fighter I have ever come across, but you're pure evil, and I can't let you live." Vegito began powering up, his super saiyan aura flared brightly around him as he built up more energy, as he cupped his hands for the finishing blow.
Buu emerged from the collapsed cliff, and spat something out before charging at Vegito once more
Vegito stared dead ahead at the oncoming Majin creature as he held his arms out in front of himself readying a massive energy orb in his hands, "I guess it's the Kakarot in me, but I hope that one day if you ever come back as a good soul, we can fight each other again. Goodbye Buu."
He pulls his arms back to his side, "Eat this, and die! Final Ka-me-ha-me-HA!" he thrusts his arms back out, unleashing a massive blue energy beam with yellow swirls towards Buu.
The small Majin creature held his arms out in an attempt to hold the powerful beam back, but upon touching the beam his arms suddenly disappeared, and soon his whole being was completely vaporized, and sensing Buu's presence vanish, Vegito curved the beam upwards sending the attack out into space.
Vegito powered down, going back into his normal form, "It's over." he sighs feeling relief
Just then both Supreme Kais teleported onto the scene, "You did it! You actually did it!" celebrated the now fused Supreme Kai, "Took you long enough." the Elder kai remarked, "You almost gave me a heart attack when Buu turn you into candy!"
Vegito chuckles as he rubs the back of his head, "Sorry about that, but hey we won so everything's okay now."
Elder Kai sighs, "Youth these days I swear."
"Dende." Vegito calls out to the young Namekian, "Think you can wake everyone up?" he asks pointing towards the still unconscious bodies of Gohan, and the others nearby.
"I'll get right on it!" Dende quickly answered making his way over to everyone
Mr. Satan poked his head out, "Where did that little green guy walked off to now?" he looked around for Dende, but instead noticed his puppy dog going off in a different direction, "Hey! Wait up Bee!" he chased after the small dog, whom had suddenly stopped, and began barking joyfully strangely enough at a large pile of rumble.
"It can't be." Mr. Satan's eyes began to water up, "Buu you're alive!" he happily shouts unintentionally earning him the attention of Vegito, and the Kais.
Vegito leapt over to where Mr. Satan was, and gasped upon the sight of the fat Buu he had freed from the other Buu's body. "Get out of the way." Vegito warned the man as he held out his right hand ready to destroy Buu.
"No! Stop! He's not that bad! He only did those bad things because some idiot shot the puppy! Please! I'll take full responsibility for him, and protect him at my house!", Mr. Satan begged, and pleaded, to Vegito to spare this Buu.
Vegito remained deep in thought over his new ordeal, and sighed, "Fine, but if he becomes a bad again I will destroy him. Got it?"
Mr. Satan nodded quickly, "Good." Vegito smiles, "Hey Dende! Can you heal Buu next? He's pretty banged up here." he shouts much to the fear, and confusion of the Earths Guardian, but against better judgement Dende carefully ran over to heal the injured fat Buu.
"Hey! They're waking up now." Elder Kai alerts the group
Gohan groans as he is the first to awaken, soon followed by Piccolo, and then the two boys.
"What happen?", Trunks rubbed his eyes
Goten looks around, and sees Gohan, "Big brother!" he excitedly shouts, and hops towards Gohan, giving his big brother a hug, "You guys are okay now? But what happen to Buu?" Gohan was confused now seeing Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo, after Buu had absorbed them.
"I think I can explain that." a strange, yet familiar voice spoke out
Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten, all turned to look at some unknown person standing next to the two Kais.
Piccolo slowly approached this person, "This energy I'm feeling... it can't be. Goku?"
"Dad?" Gohan questioned
Goten tilted his head to the side, "But he doesn't look like Dad. He looks more like Trunks Dad, but taller."
"That's can't be my Dad." Trunks told Goten
Vegito sadly sighed, "I hate to say this, but in order to defeat Majin Buu once, and for all, Goku, and Vegeta, had to fuse together to become me." he points at himself, "I am Vegito."
"That's so cool!" Goten exclaims, "Our Dads did the fusion dance like we did, Trunks!", but Trunks did not share the younger saiyans enthusiasm, and merely said, "How much longer are you gonna stay fused together?"
The smile that Vegito had faltered for a split second, but it did not go unnoticed by Gohan, or Piccolo.
Elder Kai spoke up in annoyance, "Enough prattling about! What are you idiots gonna do about the people of this planet? Or did you all forget, huh?"
"Calm down geezer. We can just use the Dragon Balls to wish everyone back." Trunks casually answered
Piccolo shook his head, "I'm afraid that's not possible at the moment. Your mother already used up a wish on the Dragon Balls. We've got four months until the balls become active again."
"Four months!" Trunks, and Goten, shout in disbelief
Vegito snapped his fingers, "What about the Dragon Balls on New Namek? Supreme Kai think you can take us to New Namek?"
"Um... I think so yeah." Supreme Kai nervous said
"Alright, everyone get aboard." Vegito grabbed a hold of Supreme Kai, as did everyone else until Mr. Satan walked over, with the fat Buu behind him, causing much shock, and panic, to the others.
Vegito chuckles once more, "I guess I forgot about that one."
Elder Kai shouts at Vegito, "Idiot!"
After a careful, and long conversation, the group made their way to New Namek where they were greeted by the Namekians, whom had already gather their Dragon Balls.
And so two of the three wishes were made;
One to revived the population of Earth, except for any evil people.
Two erase the memories of everyone on Earth about Majin Buu, except for Vegito, and his friends.
A third wish was not needed, and so Porunga took his leave, and so did our heroes back to Earth.
Back on the lookout everyone that had been killed by Buu were alive once more, and they were sighs of Majin Buu anywhere on Earth, but there was also no traces of Goku, and the others.
"Where's my little Goten?" Chi-Chi asked
"And my Trunks." Bulma added
Mr. Popo ran out from the temple, "I'm afraid I can't find anyone inside."
"I don't sense their energy anywhere." Yamcha kept looking, "It's like they just vanished."
Krillin was hugging his wife, and daughter, "I'm glad that the two of you are okay." he told them, "Papa!" Marron cried happily, and Android 18 remained silent, happy that her family was still alive.
Videl held her right hand to her chest, "Gohan." she softly spoke his name, hoping that he would just appear before her. Suddenly she felt a familiar warm presence standing right behind her, she turned around, and saw him.
"Hey, Videl." he smiles at her, "Gohan!" Videl shouts as she buries her face in his chest, and Gohan puts his arms around her, "I missed you too, Videl."
Before Chi-Chi could intervene, she was pulled back by Bulma, "Chi-Chi, look." she points over to their boys, Goten, and Trunks, whom were running their way, "Mommy!" Goten jumps for joy after seeing his mother alive once again.
"My special little man!" Chi-Chi embraces her youngest son
"My baby boy. Come to Mommy!" Bulma hugs her son tightly, "Mom you're embarrassing me.", Trunks blushed slightly, but didn't fight back, instead he returned his mothers hug.
"Piccolo! Dende!" Mr. Popo joyfully shouts seeing them heading towards everyone else
Mr. Satan carefully walked over to his daughter, "Dad!" Videl hugged her father, "I can't believe you're here!" she smiled, "Well it's not just me this time.", he nervously chuckles as one of the elephants in the room made itself seen.
Majin Buu was alive, and standing right behind Mr. Satan with a friendly expression on his face, "Hiya!" it greeted everyone
"Stand back!" Krillin got in front of his wife, and daughter, ready to combat Buu again, but thankfully for him, and everyone else, Vegito got in between Buu, and everyone, "Calm down there guys. He's find now." he tried to assure his friends, and family.
Piccolo nodded, seemingly calming everyone down, if just a bit.
Krillin examine the stranger, "Um... who are you?" he asked
"Well I'm the fusion of Goku, and Vegeta." Vegito explained, much to the surprise, and shock, of everyone that didn't already know
"Man I can't believe Goku got Vegeta to do that silly dance technique." Yamcha joked, "I know right." Krillin agreed with him, but then they noticed Master Roshi next to them wasn't sharing in their laughter, "No. This is different. When the boys fused they had on a vest. This must be a different form of fusion."
Vegito pointed at his earrings, "While Goten, and Trunks, used the Metamoran fusion technique, Goku, and Vegeta, used the Potarra earrings, given to them by the Supreme Kai."
Trunks remembered his question from earlier that never got answered, "You never said, but how much longer is fusion gonna last anyway?"
Vegito tensed up, and shook his head, "I'm sorry, but this fusion is permanent. Once Goku, and Vegeta, put on these earrings, there was no going back. The fusion can't be undone." he stated
Master Roshi, Yamcha, and Krillin, all lowered their head upon hearing the news that their old time friend was gone
Bulma began to cry to herself, "My Vegeta... he's really gone."
"Father..." Gohan sadly whispered to himself
Vegito seeing the devasting looks of everyone around him decided to speak up once again, "I am still Goku, and Vegeta, but I am also Vegito." he tried to explain to his family, and friends, to no advail.
Goten asked the next question, "Are you going to be staying with Mom, and Gohan, and me, or with Trunks, and his Mom?"
Vegito crouched down onto one knee, and placed his hand ontop of Gotens head, "I don't know yet, but I do know that I love all of you as Goku, and Vegeta, have loved you all." he looked up at everyone else with a big goofy smile as his stomached growled, "I know we still have a lot to talk about, but can it wait until after we've eaten. I think I deserve at least that for saving the world don't I?" he joked
