Harry Potter thought he had seen it all: magical creatures, hidden worlds, and dangerous adventures. But nothing prepared him for what he would encounter when he stepped through the Stargate.
Through the Gate
After the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter had found himself lost. He had achieved his life's goal of defeating Voldemort, but he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do next. The wizarding world was in disarray, and Harry didn't feel like he fit in anymore.
He had always been curious about the muggle world, and he found himself drawn to the idea of starting fresh somewhere completely new. With a heavy heart, he said goodbye to his friends and family and set off to America, determined to make a new life for himself.
It wasn't long before Harry realized that he missed flying more than anything else. He had always loved the feeling of soaring through the air on a broomstick, and he longed to experience that rush again.
One day, while walking past a military recruitment center, Harry's eye caught a poster of a fighter jet soaring through the sky. Without thinking, he walked inside and asked about joining the Air Force.
The recruitment officer was surprised but impressed by Harry's skills, and after some testing and paperwork, Harry was accepted into the Air Force.
The transition to muggle life was difficult at first. Harry had to learn how to use muggle technology and adjust to a whole new way of living. But he found that the structure and discipline of military life suited him well, and he soon found himself excelling in his training.
Harry was given the opportunity to train as a fighter pilot, and he threw himself into the rigorous program with all of his determination and focus. It wasn't long before he was soaring through the skies once again, this time in an F-16 fighter jet.
And as he flew through the air, Harry found himself feeling more alive than he had in years. He knew that he had made the right decision in leaving the wizarding world behind and starting a new life in America.
After the class, Harry's instructor introduced him to General O'Neill, but made no mention of the Stargate program. The two men shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. O'Neill seemed impressed by Harry's skills and experience as a fighter pilot, and Harry was struck by O'Neill's easygoing demeanor.
As they chatted, Harry felt a sense of familiarity with the General, as if they had met before. But he couldn't quite put his finger on it. O'Neill, on the other hand, was intrigued by Harry's intelligence and quick wit. He had a feeling that Harry would be a good fit for the Stargate program, but he didn't want to push too hard and scare him off.
Instead, O'Neill asked Harry if he wanted to grab a drink with him later that night, just to chat and get to know each other better. Harry agreed, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness about spending time with the famous General outside of the facility
Over drinks, O'Neill asked Harry about his background and his experiences in the Air Force. Harry shared some details about his training and his love of flying, but he didn't mention anything about his magical abilities or his past as a wizard.
O'Neill was impressed by Harry's dedication and skill, and he could tell that Harry was a natural leader. He also sensed that Harry was holding something back, but he didn't want to pry too much.
As the night wore on, the two men talked about a variety of topics, from their favorite planes to their shared love of classic rock music. Harry found himself opening up to O'Neill more than he had expected, and he began to feel a sense of camaraderie with the General.
But in the back of his mind, Harry couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to O'Neill than met the eye, and he wondered if there was something he wasn't telling him.
Sure! Here's an alternative continuation:
"You'll be graduating in a few weeks, correct?" O'Neil asked Harry.
"Yes, that's correct, sir," Harry replied. "I'm looking forward to starting my next assignment."
"Well, I'm glad to hear that," O'Neil said. "But before you do, I wanted to speak with you about a unique opportunity that I think would be a good fit for you."
"What kind of opportunity, sir?" Harry asked, intrigued.
"It's a special program that we have going on, and it's classified," O'Neil said, lowering his voice. "But let's just say that it involves working with some of the most skilled individuals in our organization, and it could lead to a very rewarding career."
Harry felt a surge of excitement at the prospect of such an opportunity. "I'm definitely interested, sir," he said.
"Great," O'Neil said with a smile. "I'll set up a meeting with you and the team leader. You'll have to go through some rigorous training to qualify, but I have no doubt that you have the potential to excel in this program."
Harry felt a sense of pride at O'Neil's confidence in him. "Thank you, sir," he said. "I'm looking forward to learning more about it."
"I will have to be up front. This job wont consist of a lot of flying. Well every once in a while. I've read your file. you seem to be a good fit for what we do. If you're not interested after orientation, I get you a pilot position wherever you want to go." O'Neil stated
"I understand, sir," Harry replied. "I'm still interested in learning more about the program and seeing if it's a good fit for me. I appreciate the offer for a pilot position as well, but I'd like to explore this opportunity first."
"Good attitude, Potter," O'Neil said with a nod. "I think you'll do well with us. We'll get you started on the orientation as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep this conversation between us. The details of our program are classified."
"Understood, sir," Harry said, feeling a sense of anticipation for what was to come. He couldn't wait to find out more about the program and prove himself as a member of this elite team.
A few weeks later, harry sat on a bus reading the letter Hermione and Ron had written him congratulating him
Dear Harry,
We are so proud of you for graduating from your training program! We knew you could do it. We wish we could be there to celebrate with you, but unfortunately, work keeps us busy. Hermione has started working for the Senate, which is quite an achievement. She's been busy researching and drafting bills that will help improve the magical community. Ron has been helping George with the joke shop, and they're doing quite well.
We're both excited to hear more about your new venture, although we're still not exactly sure what it is. We hope you'll tell us all about it when you get the chance. We miss you and wish you all the best.
Love, Hermione and Ron
Harry couldn't help but smile as he finished reading the letter. He missed his friends dearly, but he was also excited about the new opportunities that lay ahead of him. As he folded the letter and placed it back in his bag, he felt a sense of determination to make the most of this new chapter in his life.
The bus suddenly came to a stop, and Harry looked up to see a military base in front of him. He grabbed his bags and stepped off the bus, taking in his new surroundings. He felt a mix of nerves and excitement as he made his way to the orientation building where he was to meet with the team leader.
As he walked through the building and met the stern-looking Colonel Samantha Carter, Harry reminded himself that he had overcome many challenges before
Harry walked into the Stargate Command facility, feeling a bit out of place among the military personnel and advanced technology. He was early for his orientation and didn't want to be late, so he walked around aimlessly, trying to get a sense of his surroundings.
As he turned a corner, he almost bumped into a tall, muscular man with a tattoo on his forehead. The man had a stern expression on his face, and Harry felt a shiver go down his spine.
"Apologies," Harry said, stepping back.
The man simply nodded and continued walking, his eyes fixed on the task at hand. Harry watched him go, feeling a bit intimidated.
Just then, a woman with blonde hair approached him, a warm smile on her face. "Hi there, I'm Colonel Samantha Carter. You must be Harry?"
Harry nodded, still feeling a bit flustered from the encounter with the tattooed man. "Yes, that's me. It's nice to meet you, Colonel."
Carter gave him a friendly nod. "Likewise. I hear you have an impressive record as a pilot. We're excited to have you on board."
Harry smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "Thank you. I'm looking forward to learning more about the program."
Just then, a deep voice spoke up from behind them. "What is this? A child joining our ranks?"
Harry turned to see a large man with a gold emblem on his forehead staring at him with a mix of surprise and disbelief. Harry recognized him from the briefing earlier as Teal'c, one of the members of SG-1.
"I assure you, Teal'c, Harry is more than qualified for the job," Colonel Carter said, coming to Harry's defense.
Teal'c simply nodded, still looking a bit skeptical. Harry felt a sense of pride at the fact that he had already earned the respect of such a formidable member of the team.
"If they only knew what I had been through. "Harry thought to himself with a smirk.
As they walked, Carter asked Harry a few questions about his background and experience.
"So, Harry, what made you want to join the Air Force?" Carter asked.
"Well, I've always loved flying, but I wanted to do something that had a bigger impact, you know? Something that could make a difference," Harry replied.
Carter nodded in understanding, and they continued on until they reached the briefing room, where O'Neill was waiting for them.
"Ah, good. You made it. Take a seat, both of you," O'Neill said, gesturing to the chairs around the table.
Harry sat down, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Harry listened carefully as Jack explained the Stargate program. He was stunned, shocked, and slightly scared. The idea that there were other planets, aliens, and technology beyond Earth was beyond what he had ever imagined.
As they approached the Stargate, Harry hesitated. He wasn't sure if he was ready for this. The room was dark, and the Stargate's shimmering event horizon was the only source of light. It was an incredible sight, and Harry couldn't help but feel drawn to it, despite his apprehension.
"Go ahead, touch it," Jack said, urging him forward. Harry tentatively reached out and ran his fingers over the surface of the Stargate. It was cold and smooth to the touch, like nothing he had ever felt before.
"It's incredible," Harry murmured, still in awe. "How does it work?"
"It's a complex series of symbols that create a wormhole," Sam explained. "The symbols are like addresses that connect one Stargate to another. It's how we travel to other planets."
Harry nodded slowly, still trying to process everything he had just learned. The Stargate program was a secret operation that few people knew about, and Harry was now one of them. It was a lot to take in, and he wasn't sure how he felt about it.
Jack could see the hesitation on Harry's face. "I know this is a lot to take in, but we need you, Harry. You have skills that can help us, and we're willing to teach you what you need to know."
Harry took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I'm in," he said, with more confidence than he felt. "What do I need to do?"
As the group continued to show Harry around the base, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and amazement. He had always known that there were secrets hidden away in the world, but he never could have imagined something like the Stargate program.
Harry's mind was racing with questions and thoughts as he walked through the halls of the base. How had this remained a secret for so long? How many people were involved in the program? And most importantly, what would his role be in all of this?
As they entered the armory, Teal'c handed Harry a Zat gun and explained its use. Harry felt a bit nervous as he held the alien weapon in his hand, wondering if he would be able to handle the responsibility of using it if the situation called for it.
Jack caught the look on Harry's face and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Harry. You'll get the hang of it. We'll make sure you're trained in all the necessary weapons and skills."
As the tour came to an end, they returned to the briefing room and sat down to discuss Harry's potential role in the Stargate program. Harry couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by all of the information he had just learned, but he was excited to be a part of something so important.
As they began to discuss his training and future assignments, Harry's mind kept drifting back to Hermione. He wondered if she had any idea what he was getting into and if she would approve. He made a mental note to reach out to her as soon as he had a chance to process everything that had just happened.
For now, Harry was ready to dive into his new role with the Stargate program.
Harry sat on the edge of his new bed, deep in thought. He had been given a room on the base, and it was small but comfortable. But Harry had bigger things on his mind.
He had been honest with Jack and Samantha about his lack of knowledge of the Stargate program, but there was something else he had to worry about. How was he going to keep his magic a secret from everyone here?
He had managed to keep his powers hidden from the Muggle world for so long, but being around other military personnel who had never heard of the magical world, it would be a lot harder. Harry knew that he would have to be very careful not to let his magic slip.
He had a few tricks up his sleeve, of course. He could use wandless magic, and he had a few spells that would help him cover his tracks. But he knew he had to be cautious.
Harry sighed and lay down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. He wondered if anyone else here had any secrets, like he did. He would have to keep his guard up.
for now he closed his eyes and fell asleep. He has a dream about the ancestors. In Harry's dream, he found himself in a dark and misty forest. The air was thick with a feeling of foreboding, and Harry could sense that something dangerous was lurking in the shadows. Suddenly, he heard a woman's voice calling out to him.
"Harry," she said, her voice soft and soothing. "You must listen to me. There is danger coming, and you must be prepared."
Harry looked around, but he couldn't see the woman who was speaking to him. "What danger?" he asked.
"The danger of your past catching up to you," the woman replied. "You have faced many challenges in your life, and you have overcome them all. But there is still much that you do not know. You must be careful, Harry. The stakes are higher now than they have ever been before."
Harry felt a chill run down his spine. He didn't know what the woman was talking about, but he had a feeling that it was something important.
"How can I be prepared?" he asked.
"Trust in your instincts," the woman replied. "And remember that you are not alone. There are others who will stand by your side, no matter what may come."
With those words, the mist began to clear, and the forest around Harry faded away. He awoke with a start, wondering what his dream could mean.
Teal'c entered the room, and Harry could tell by the way he carried himself that he was there for a purpose. "Harry Potter," Teal'c said with a nod, "I would like to take you to the combat room for some martial arts training. It is important that you are able to defend yourself in case we encounter any hostiles."
Harry was taken aback by the request, but he tried his best to play it cool. "Sure, that sounds good," he said with a smile, trying not to let on that he already had extensive training in martial arts.
As they made their way to the combat room, Harry couldn't help but think about how he was going to keep his magical abilities a secret. He knew that if anyone found out, it could be disastrous, not just for him but for everyone involved with the Stargate program.
Teal'c was surprised at how fast Harry was. What he didn't have in strength, Harry made up for in swiftness and the ability to react. Teal'c had been impressed by Harry's fighting skills, but he couldn't help but wonder where he had learned them.
"You have excellent form, Harry Potter," Teal'c said as they finished their training session. "I have not seen someone with your level of skill in quite some time. Where did you learn to fight like that?"
Harry paused for a moment, not sure what to say. He couldn't reveal the truth about his magical abilities, so he had to come up with a plausible explanation. "I grew up in a rough neighborhood," he said finally. "I had to learn how to fight to protect myself."
Teal'c nodded thoughtfully. "I see," he said. "Well, you have done well. I will see you at tomorrow's briefing."
As Teal'c left, Harry let out a sigh of relief. He knew that he had to be careful. Harry's tomach growled.
Harry walked into the cafeteria and spotted Daniel sitting at a table with a book open in front of him. He made his way over and sat down across from him.
"What are you reading?" Harry asked curiously, eyeing the unfamiliar script on the pages.
"It's an ancient language called Goa'uld," Daniel replied, looking up from the book. "I'm trying to decipher some of the text from a tablet we found on a recent mission."
Harry raised an eyebrow. "Sounds interesting. Can I take a look?"
"Sure," Daniel said, handing the book over to Harry.
As Harry perused the pages, he couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity with the script. It reminded him of the ancient runes he had studied at Hogwarts. He quickly suppressed the thought and handed the book back to Daniel.
"That's really cool," Harry said, trying to hide the fact that he had some knowledge of ancient languages himself.
Daniel gave him a curious look, but didn't say anything. Instead, he launched into a detailed explanation of the language and its history. Harry listened attentively, trying his best to keep up with the complex linguistics.
"so aliens really did build the pyramids?" Harry asked as he took a bite of food.
Daniel looked up from his book with a smile. "Well, it's just one of the theories. But it's a possibility," he replied.
Harry raised his eyebrows in surprise. "I never thought about that. It makes sense though, with all the technology they seem to have."
Daniel nodded, "Yes, it's quite fascinating. And it's not just the pyramids. There are many ancient structures around the world that have stumped modern-day architects and engineers. Some suggest that they were built with the help of extraterrestrial beings."
Harry looked at Daniel skeptically, unsure of what to believe. "Do you really think that's possible?"
Daniel shrugged. "I try to keep an open mind about these things. The Stargate program has shown us that there is so much we don't know about the universe and the civilizations that have come before us."
Harry nodded thoughtfully. "I suppose you're right. I mean, I've seen some pretty amazing things since coming here that I never would have thought possible."
Daniel smiled, "Exactly. That's the beauty of discovery. There's always something new to learn and explore."
He took a bite of his sandwich and swallowed before asking, "Mind showing me some of the tech you lot have found on your adventures?"
Daniel smiled, closing the book in front of him. "Sure, I'd be happy to. We've come across some pretty incredible things over the years."
As they walked through the halls of the SGC, Daniel pointed out various artifacts and technology they had discovered on missions throughout the galaxy. Harry was amazed at the ingenuity and advanced capabilities of the devices.
"This is one of my favorites," Daniel said, indicating a small handheld device with a glowing blue crystal. "It's called a Goa'uld healing device. It can heal almost any wound, even bringing people back from the brink of death."
Harry couldn't help but be impressed. He had seen some incredible magic in his time, but this was something else entirely. He made a mental note to ask if he could try it out sometime.
Daniel continued the tour, showing Harry everything from advanced communication devices to weapons that could disintegrate matter. Harry was impressed, but at the same time, he couldn't shake the feeling that all of this was a bit overwhelming. He had been living in a world of magic and wizards, and now he was faced with technology that seemed almost otherworldly.
As they walked, Harry couldn't help but think of Hermione. She would have been thrilled to see all of this. She had always been interested in science and technology, and Harry couldn't help but wonder what she would have made of it all.
Eventually, their tour came to an end, and Harry found himself back in his room, still thinking about all of the incredible things he had seen.
After, Harry went to the showers and changed into some fresh clothes when he bumped int a soldier who seemed a bit surprised to see harry the usher harry into a place they could talk privately
he soldier led Harry to a secluded corner of the hallway where they could talk privately. Harry couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy, wondering what this was all about.
"Is there something you needed to talk to me about?" Harry asked, trying to keep his voice calm.
The soldier hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I'm sorry, sir, but I couldn't help but notice your scar," he said, nodding towards Harry's forehead.
Harry instinctively reached up to touch the lightning bolt-shaped scar, which had been a constant reminder of his past and the dangers he had faced. "What about it?" he asked, his tone slightly defensive.
"I saw it in the briefing room earlier," the soldier explained. "And it looks a lot like the scar that's been in the news lately. The one they're saying belongs to some kind of wizard terrorist."
Harry's heart sank as he realized what the soldier was getting at. He had known all along that keeping his magical abilities a secret in this new world would be a challenge, but he hadn't expected it to come up so soon. He took a deep breath, trying to think of what to say.
"That's...that's just a birthmark," Harry said, hoping he sounded convincing. "It's been there as long as I can remember."
The soldier seemed to be studying him carefully, and Harry wondered if he had been too obvious in his lie.
Harry hesitated for a moment, unsure if he should trust this stranger who seemed to know his identity. But something in Simmons' tone and demeanor made him believe that the man was genuine. He reached out and shook the offered hand.
"Thank you," Harry said, still feeling a bit unsure. "How did you find out?"
Simmons' smirk turned into a grin. "Let's just say that we have ways of keeping tabs on unusual individuals like yourself. We've been aware of your existence and your magical abilities for quite some time."
Simmons led Harry to a discreet corner of the base where he pulled out a small case. "Inside this case, I have a few magical artifacts that should help you on your missions. They've been enchanted with a spell that will keep them hidden from non-magical people, so you won't have to worry about revealing your abilities."
He opened the case to reveal an array of items, including a wand, a pouch for carrying potion ingredients and different rings . "But how did you get all of this?"
Simmons looked at him slyly. "Let's just say that I have connections in some unexpected places. And besides, we can always use an edge against the Goa'uld and other threats out there."
Harry nodded, still feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sudden turn his life had taken. "Thanks, Simmons. I really appreciate this."
Simmons clapped him on the back. "No problem, kid. We're all in this together."
For a few weeks harry ket training and then it was time for him to go on his first mission describe his reaction of stepping through the gate
As Harry stepped through the Stargate, he felt a mix of excitement and apprehension. The blue vortex swirled around him and then he was suddenly thrust into a new world. He took a deep breath, looking around at his surroundings, taking in the unfamiliar sights and sounds.
He could feel his heart racing as he followed his team out of the gate room and into the unknown. This was what he had trained for, what he had prepared himself for. It was a rush of adrenaline and anticipation, tempered with the knowledge that danger could be lurking around every corner.
As they made their way through the alien landscape, Harry kept his senses sharp, watching for any sign of danger. His training had prepared him well, and he was confident in his abilities, but he knew that anything could happen out here.
. The air was fresher than anything he'd ever breathed, and he could hear the sounds of birds and other animals he didn't recognize.
He followed behind the team as they moved deeper into the forest. Trees towered above them, their canopies blocking out much of the sunlight. The ground was soft and springy underfoot, and Harry had to watch his step to avoid tripping on exposed roots.
As they walked, Harry couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. He looked around nervously, but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. Daniel must have noticed his unease, because he spoke up.
"Don't worry, Harry. We're just exploring. There's no need to be afraid."
"I know, it's just... everything is so different here," Harry replied.
They continued on for several hours, taking samples and recording data. Harry was fascinated by the new plant life and animals they encountered. He even managed to catch a small lizard-like creature, which he examined with great interest.
As the sun began to set, they set up camp in a clearing. Teal'c started a fire, while Sam and Daniel prepared dinner from their rations. Harry sat on a nearby log, taking in the sounds and smells of the forest.
"This is amazing," he said to no one in particular. "I can't believe I'm actually here."
"I know how you feel," Daniel replied with a smile. "I've been doing this for years, and it still never gets old."
After dinner, they sat around the fire, chatting and telling stories. Harry shared some tales of his adventures at a boarding school without the mention of magic, and the others shared stories of their missions on different planets. Harry was fascinated by the different worlds and creatures they had encountered, and he felt a rush of excitement at the thought of exploring more.
As the night wore on, they all settled in to get some rest before continuing their mission the next day. Harry took first watch and sat by the fire, lost in his thoughts.
He had never imagined he would be on another planet, fighting alongside a team of humans and aliens against extraterrestrial threats. It was a far cry from the life he had lived in the wizarding world.
As the night wore on, Harry started to feel the weight of the responsibility that came with being a member of SG-1. He knew that they were facing dangerous situations, and that lives were on the line. But he also knew that he was with a team of people who were skilled and experienced, and who had his back.
With that in mind, Harry settled in for the night, ready to face whatever the next day would bring.
Harry sat up groggily, his senses immediately on high alert at the sight of Jack holding his gun. "What's going on?" he asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"We've got company," Jack said, nodding towards the treeline. "Take a look."
Harry peered into the darkness, but he couldn't see anything at first. Then he caught a glimpse of movement - something large and dark moving through the trees. He strained his eyes, trying to make out what it was.
Suddenly, the thing burst from the trees and charged towards them. Harry had only a split second to react. Instinct took over as he dove to the side, narrowly avoiding the creature's massive jaws.
The thing was unlike anything Harry had ever seen before. It was huge and covered in fur, with razor-sharp claws and teeth that looked like they could tear through steel. Harry scrambled to his feet, his wand in his hand, but he knew that magic wouldn't be enough to take down this beast.
"Fall back to the gate!" Jack yelled, his gun barking as he fired at the creature.
Harry didn't need to be told twice. He turned and sprinted towards the Stargate, his heart pounding in his chest. He could hear the creature crashing through the underbrush behind him, getting closer by the second.
Just as he thought it was going to catch him, there was a blinding flash of light and he found himself hurtling through the Stargate. He stumbled and fell, landing hard on the other side, but he was alive.
As he caught his breath and looked around, he realized that they were back in the safety of the SGC. He couldn't help but feel a sense of relief, but at the same time, he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd failed in some way. After Harry and the team returned to Stargate Command, they immediately went to debrief with General Hammond. As they sat around the table, Harry gave a detailed report of their mission, including their encounter with the alien creature.
General Hammond listened intently, nodding occasionally and asking clarifying questions. When Harry finished, the General thanked him for his report and dismissed the team.
As they walked out of the debriefing room, Teal'c turned to Harry. "You performed well on your first mission, Harry Potter. Your combat training has served you well."
Harry smiled, feeling a sense of pride at the compliment. "Thanks, Teal'c. I couldn't have done it without your training."
Jack clapped Harry on the back. "You did good, kid. Welcome to the team."
Daniel added, "And don't worry about the whole alien thing. We've seen weirder things out there."
Harry chuckled. "I'm sure I'll see plenty more strange things in the future."
Until next time peeps. Hope you all enjoyed. If you did please follow, and favorite. If you have ideas please share in reviews.
