Teams RWBY and JNPR are in the JNPR dorm room. Jaune is currently sitting on a chair in the bathroom while Nora uses her Halloween makeup kit to make put the finishing touches on making Jaune look like a Faunus. Ren is helping her. Once she's done Nora walks Jaune out to see the reactions of her Friends.
Blake looks on in fear. "I know you said she was good but this is actually terrifying."
"They look so real." Ruby mutters.
"What did you say she used again?" Weiss asks unable to take her eyes off the false horns.
Pyrrha sighs. "I don't know, you'll have to ask her that."
Yang walks over and pokes the tip of one ply to back away in fright. "They even feel real!" She exclaims.
After praising Nora and her... Odd, skill in Halloween makeup, and getting dressed into new outfits. Teams RWBY and JNPR stand in a transport ship to Vale once it arrives the group splits into the three pre decided teams. With Pyrrha, Weiss, and Ruby they quickly arrive at the CCT only to find it closed off by construction signs, and the second floor of CCT being repaired.
Weiss frowns at the sight. "What happened here?" The trio hadn't even noticed there'd haired girl standing behind them.
"It was damaged from a fight yesterday." Penny says cheerfully as always.
The trio of girls scream in terror at the sudden voice before looking at the smiling Synthetic Girl.
"Penny please stop doing that!" Ruby whines. It takes Ruby a second to realize, buuuut. "Wait. PENNY?!"
"Hello there, Ruby my friend." Penny salutes before giggling.
A Long Time Ago In A Familiar Galaxy Far Away.
A man with short auburn hair and blue eyes named Obi Wan Kenobi stands in front of a dinner accompanied by... Anakin? The older man has his hand on his chin as he stands in thought.
Anakin looks to him. "Master, are you alright?"
"Yes, yes I'm fine." Obi Wan assures. "Though I have a strange feeling that I've been quoted."
"What do you think it was?" Anakin asks not noticing the tall blue armored man standing behind him.
"It was probably the the nice robot lady from the other dimension." Says the Blue.
"The wha.."
Back in Remnant
"Penny where have you been?!" Ruby asks. "Back at the docks you disappeared?"
"Yeah," Weiss cuts in. "We thought something happened to you."
"I'm sorry," Penny says sincerely, lowering her head in shame. "I didn't mean to make you all worry about me."
"Well what happened?"
"Well..." while Penny began to speak Pyrrha gasped. "What's wrong?"
"I'm Sorry! I was using my semblance to double check my pockets for how much change I have and, well..." Pyrrha looks to Ruby and Weiss before stepping up to Penny to whisper into her ear.
"OH! Umm, please don't freak out."
"It's alright, it's alright. You have no judgment from me."
"Pyrrha? What are you two talking about?" Ruby asks.
Over in another part of Vale Blake and Jaune walk the streets. They haven't been walking long, and they pass a group of humans on the other side of the street that are snickering.
"Wow what a freak!" One says. Jaune sighs, knowing that their talking about him.
Blake puts an arm on his shoulder. "Don't let it bother you."
"Is this how it feels for all Faunus?"
"Unfortunately." Blake sighs.
"Now I understand why you hide your Faunus heritage." Jaune says earning a soft giggle from Blake.
"I still don't understand why some of humanity treat Faunus like this, I mean we're practically the same. There's only two differences. The trait of various Fauna and Nightvision." Jaune sighs once again. "Now I understand why Faunus hate Humans so much sometimes."
"Learning the Faunus perspective?" Blake chuckles.
"Yeah. I guess." There grows an awkward silence as they continue to walk. After a bit Blake try's to break the silence.
"So how are things with you and Pyrrha?" She asks.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"OH, right sorry. I forgot that you've been trying to get Weiss' attention."
"Y-Yeah." He sighs. "I just, I don't know what to do. I'm completely head over heels for her, but she won't even give me a chance."
"Well, in a way I do understand why she hasn't accepted your attempts." Blake says bluntly.
"What do you mean." Jaune frowns.
"Well that attempt on the second day in the locker room wasn't a good start," Blake smirks. "But if you really want to know? It's because she's afraid."
"Afraid?"
"Do you remember what family she comes from?" Blake asks.
"Somewhat, she's the daughter to some big name for the Dust industry right?"
"Yup," Blake and Jaune turn a corner. "The Schnee family. You see she's afraid that any boy that approaches her will be after one of two things. Her family name, or money."
"Oh."
"Jaune, I'm sorry to say, but Weiss may never accept you. Not because of your looks or your personality, but from her own fears." Jaune looks down nodding his head in acceptance. "But, ironically enough there is a girl you know that has been hoping you would notice her."
"There is?" Jaune questions.
"Yes, and Ironically she's also in your team."
"Wait, Pyrrha?" Blake simply nods in response. "Seriously, but I'm a nobody, and she's a world renowned fighter. Men should be practically clambering over each other to ask her out."
"Well. I talked to Pyrrha about it once before after class. She's tried to start relationships with others, but everyone just 'assumes that she's on a level that they can't attain.'"
"Oh... so I was thinking like everyone else." Blake nods again. "I must've hurt her by being so blind." Jaune quickly starts to have a mini panic attack. "Blake what do I do!? How can I make this up to her?! Will she even accept me now?!"
"JAUNE!"
"Huh?"
"Calm down." Blake giggles. "First off, you can make it up to her by asking her out, and second off, she never stopped caring for you. If I'm being honest it was kinda obvious to everyone except you."
"Oh."
With Yang, Nora, and Ren, Yang takes the two to a parking garage in Vale nearby the transport landing platform. Once inside Yang leads her companions to her beloved motorcycle, Bumblebee.
"Alright everyone on."
Back with Ruby.
"Wait so your a, Robot?" Weiss asks in disbelief.
"Yes, I'm the first synthetic person capable of generating an aura, and according to Crimson I have a soul." Penny looks down at her hands as slight synthetic tears start to well up. "Nothing about me Is real."
After a second, Ruby walks over and takes Penny's hands. "Well of course your real." Ruby says. Penny looks up to meet Ruby's innocent Silver Eyes. "You think that just because you have nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts makes you any less real than me? You have a heart. And a Soul. Besides if Crimson says that too, then I must be right. We can't both be wrong can we?" Weiss looks on in shock at how inspirational Ruby had become while Pyrrha looks on with a proud look of Approval.
"Oh Ruby!" Penny quickly pulls Ruby into a bone crushing hug. "Your the best friend I could ever have!"
Blake and Jaune finally reach the entrance to an ally way when Blake stops them. She looks at the wall to see three scratch marks that seemed like a symbol. Tracing her fingers over it she turns to Jaune.
"This is it."
