What does it truly mean to die? Do you go on? Does consciousness slowly cease to exist? Does a bright light shine forcing you to walk towards it? No one really knows the answer. That is until you die. Lily was average in absolutely every way. Average grades. Average at sports. A few friends, but none that really stuck by her until the very end. And it did end.

At the tender age of 16 her life was over. It wasn't painful, she simply just went to sleep. Crazy how an aneurysm can happen so fast, and so unexpectedly.

"W-What? What the hell is going on!?" The last thing I remember was laying down in my bed, and now. I look around me. It looks just like a scene from the matrix! Green code flies around me in complex sequences. I couldn't hope to try and decipher it. In front of me was a glowing green box that seemed to be almost see-through. No matter how much I moved my head or blinked my eyes it remained.

"Ok this is just so surreal. Rebirth? No way! I can't be dead I was asleep!" I pinch my arm in hope of waking up but all that achieved was to leave a red mark. "B-but I'm only 16! I have my whole life ahead of me!" I wail as it starts to sink in that this just might not be a dream. I had gone my entire life just drifting along. Not taking risks or standing out. I was content to just be average. Well I'm not really sure "content" would be the right word, but what other choice did I have! There wasn't much I could achieve in the world. Coming from a lower-class family, in a town where the most exciting thing that happens is a fist fight in the local convenience store. Life just didn't have many prospects.

So, I threw myself into fiction. Any chance I got I was reading a new story, watching a new anime, just to escape. Why focus on the real world when there are infinite possible realities to be in. Ones that didn't require someone to waste their lives just to make ends meet. Where you could try your best and it be WORTH IT!

My mind focused on the green box in front of me. "My new world huh?" I had read plenty of fanfics that started out this way. The Gamer power was nothing to sneeze at. The possibilities are endless.

Taking a deep breath, I pressed the green x.

Possible worlds:

Middle Earth: Orc's, Elves, and Dwarves Oh My! Enter the world of Middle Earth and fight besides your Brothers in Arms! Whether it is fighting a dragon to reclaim a lost kingdom or returning some cursed jewelry to a volcano your journey will never be boring!

Resident Evil: Go for the Head! Who doesn't like killing some zombies? Make your way through life killing as much undead as possible. Just don't get bit! Decay isn't a good look for you.

Harry Potter: Levi-O-sa not Levio-SA. Go to a school where magic is LITERALLY in the air. Make friends and foe alike as you learn your way through Hogwarts. Just watch out for Death eaters and Voldy-Wart.

Attack on Titan: For Humanity! Who wouldn't want to live in the same world as Levi Akerman? So, there are human eating giants that do their very best to make you their next meal? At least you can enjoy some eye candy as you go.

Naruto: Believe it! Whether you are clan-less or a member of a great noble clan, anyone has a chance to be a shinobi. Throw around ninjutsu like its nothing or give them an ass-whoopin' of YOUTH.

"Well for sure Attack on Titan and Resident Evil are OUT!" I would prefer not to experience those shit storms firsthand. Though the chance to meet Captain Levi is VERY tempting. While usually Harry Potter would be an immediate yes, I wouldn't be able to handle the racism that gets thrown around like confetti.

My eyes kept being drawn to the end of the screen. Naruto always had a special place in my heart. Uzumaki Naruto was given the short stick in life and yet he pushed on, never letting it hold him back. He worked harder then anyone else and he achieved his dreams. While admittedly I didn't watch Boruto, it was probably the series I knew the most about. Besides, I felt a drop of drool escape the side of my mouth, SO MANY SEXY MEN! The chance to bask in the greatness that was Kakashi was too good to pass up.

With firm resolve I pressed Naruto

Congrats! You will be reborn into the world of Naruto!

Just be careful not to piss off the local Jinchuriki. +50% exp gain when using [Wind Affinity]. [Tough as Sand] perk: Resistance to high climate temperatures.

Kumogakure: The lightning village is known for their powerful lightning techniques. Their desire to accumulate bloodlines has led them to take questionable actions. B prepared to listen to some dope bars. +50% exp gain when using [Lightning Affinity]. [Quick as Lightning] perk: permanent +5 to DEX

Honestly while there are some interesting perks to the other villages, there was only one clear choice. Clicking on the leaf village I moved on to the next screen.

You chose KONOHAGKURE

You may choose 3 perks:

[Prodigy]: You are known for being ahead of the game and catching on quickly. Permanent +10 to WIS and INT.

[Hard worker]: While you may not be the brightest bulb, when it comes to stamina you won't play second fiddle! Permanent +10 to STA.

[Medical ninja]: YOU DO NOT FUCK WITH THE WHITE MAGE! +50% exp in [Chakra Control]. +25% exp when using [Mystic Palm Technique]

[Kekkei genkai]: Konoha is home to many clans with bloodline limits. Upon selection one random bloodline limit will be chosen for you. +50% exp in using your bloodline.

[Sixth sense]: You are highly sensitive to the chakra of those around you, 100% chance to sense chakra signals within 50ft of you. -10% for every 10ft beyond.

[Lady Luck]: Luck is important when you are playing against the odds. Permanent +10 to LUK.

"Uh these are a little bit harder." while [Kekkie genkai] seems the best choice I wouldn't want to draw unnecessary attention if I received something like the Sharringan or God forbid the Rinnegan. It's best to stay away from that. After careful deliberation I decided to pick [Prodigy], [Medical ninja], and [Lady Luck]. [Prodigy] was a given because in this world you need all the advantage you can get. The [Medical ninja] perk was also one of my choices, because who wouldn't want to be able to heal themselves? And finally [Lady luck] 'cause let's be honest you never know when you could use a little luck.

"Wait what?"

All around me the green glow of the code started to get brighter and brighter, till almost blinding. Suddenly it started to feel like a pressure was clamping down on my body. The pressure built and built until finally with one last pulse the pressure released. Freezing cold air hit my flesh like a knife. Why the HELL am I NAKED! What felt like giant hands grabbed onto my body, and I was hit with a sudden fear that I had accidentally been sent to Attack on Titan. Hey what gives! I said no to the freaking man eating giants! I could feel my body being lifted higher. In sheer helplessness I could do only one thing. A wail ripped from my throat so loud that I hoped it deafened the titan about to eat me.

Wait. Was I always that high-pitched?

"Congratulations Lady Tsunade! It's a healthy baby girl!" the cheerful voice of a young woman sounded from above me. Huh? I didn't know titans could talk!

"Healthy is for sure. They could probably hear that cry all the way in Kumo!" an exhausted but content voice replied.

Wait! Did she say TSUNADE!?

Twisting my head around I searched for the second voice. I didn't have to wait long as the giant hands readily moved me until I was laying on a soft (and huge!) chest. Blonde hair dangled near my face, as the smell of sake and herbs drifted into my nose. My eyes connected with soft pools of amber belonging to none other than the Fifth Hokage herself!

"Oh, you're gonna be a heart breaker, I can tell." Tsunade whispered as she stroked my forehead lightly. "She has your eyes Milady." Came the voice of what I've come to realize as a young Shizune. "Yeah, and that idiot's white hair. Hopefully it doesn't get the same spikiness."

White hair, spikiness, IDIOT!? HOLY SHIT MY PARENTS ARE JIRAYA AND TSUNADE! My inner weeb was screaming for joy! Not only does this mean that I have TWO Sannin as parents, but it also means that my ship has sailed! My heart broke when Jiraya died before finally getting the woman he loves. To know that I am a product of him reaching one of his dreams just makes me almost shed a tear.

You did it Jiraya boy!
