Chapter 1

Accidents Happen

The PAW Patrol were at Al and Yumi's farm, helping to get one of the chickens off the silo. Things were going well: Marshall was currently bringing her down the ladder. Then, suddenly, Cali saw a bird, ran after it, jumped onto Marshall's truck, and her paws hit the controls. The ladder then swung around and hit Rubble's bulldozer, causing the crane to swing around and whack Rubble in the head, knocking him out of the vehicle.

"Rubble, Rubble! Can you hear me?" heard the bulldog.

The lightheaded pup then opened his eyes and saw Ryder, though his view of him was rather shaky.

"How many fingers am I holding up?" asked the boy as he held up three.

The groggy construction pup looked up at his master's hand, struggling to clearly. "Five," he finally said.

Ryder's concerned look then became more concerned on hearing this. "We need to get him to Katie, ASAP," ordered the chief.
