Prologue
Red Eyes Under The Mask
Cries and screams of outrage came from the council room after the hokage announced the result of the sealing of the nine tailed fox.
"Lord hokage we can not let the demon live" The civilian council members yelled, until a chunin amount of killing intent washed over the room making the civilian council members shut up, they looked and saw a 5 year old Naruto with a 2 tomoe sharingan blazing in his eyes. They also looked at what he was holding in his arms. It was a little baby girl with a patch of red hair with blonde stripes going through, whisker marks and
purple eyes.
"Just because dad is gone does not mean that you can ignore my family" Naruto yelled with a surprising amount of confidence.
"Brats got spark" said a 29 year old Tsume inuzuka with a large grin on her face
"What a drag, but I will admit kids got guts" Said a certain lazy nara with a deer fur coat on.
"How can he have the sharingan already and with 2 tomoe already" Fugakue uchiha thought.
"Lord Naruto why would you hold that demon"
"Two things: one cut the lord and 2, that's my sister," Naruto said with the best intimidating voice a 5 year old can produce.
There was silence in the room as that sinked in
"The moment of truth" hiruzen thought, silence reigned over the council room, a slight murmuring of the demon has taken over the daughter of the 4th and we need to kill it to cleanse it, Hiruzen just sighed
"I guess that I will have to find a guardian until Naruto is a ninja" Hiruzen thought
4 hours later
The civilians calmed down and they started to talk about the reconstruction of the village.
Hokages office
As Hiruzen entered his office he looked over to the coach and saw Naruto asleep on his couch with the small redhead wrapped up in a cloth snuggled out next to him. He had a small smile when he saw the brother and sister snuggled up together
"It's Hard to believe that just 7 hours ago the nine tailed fox was sealed into the little Namikaze"
As hiruzen sat down at his desk he heard a knock on the door
"Come in" The third yelled
A dog faced anbu walked into the office.
"What do you need dog"
"I would like to be Naruto and Mito's guardian until Naruto is a chunin" Kakashi asked with a small amount of hope in his voice.
We will have to ask Naruto when he wakes up
"I think It would be a great idea for kaka bro to adopt me and little mito" Hiruzen was a bit shocked that Naruto was not actually asleep and trying to listen in on important conversations, he had to wonder if he had done that when his dad was in office.
Hiruzen had a smile on his face
"Very well Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki and Mito Namikaze Uzumaki are now Naruto And Mito Namkikaze Uzimaki Hatake"
"Can we just use one at a time" Naruto said with a groan
"Very well" the third hokage said with an eye roll
1 month later
We see Naruto walking out of the hatake family home which he moved into after the nine tailed fox attack.
"Naruto Naruto I need your help" Kakashi yelled
"HAHAHAHA big bro kakashi do it yourself" Naruto yelled with a large grin on his face
Kakashi just groaned in annoyance, as he was running over the rooftops he saw his friend itachi who was in the same year as him walking to school with the recently promoted chunin shisui
"Yo itachi" Naruto yelled
"Hello naruto" Itachi replied with a small smile
"Who is this" shisui asked
"This is, hold up what do we call you" Naruto chuckled
"My official name would be Naruto Namikaze uzumaki hatake, but I prefer just Naruto and or one of my last names there are to many"
"Very well Naruto" shisui replied
"Anyway how are you a chunin if you are only one or two years older than us" Naruto asked
"Well you see I graduated when I was 7 and took the exams the same year" shisui replied with a small grin on his face
"Well I think It would be best if you got out of the academy soonish, I have seen some of your spas you both have 2 tomoe sharingan and are at low to mid chunin level already" Shusui said
"Yeah Lets do that" Naruto said with a foxy grin
Itachi just smiled at his friends antics
"You know it will not be that easy we will have to be top of our class by a lot" Itachi replied to the blondes comment
"Yeah Yeah I know let's just hope training will help us out" Naruto responded. They continued to walk and continue small talk until they got to the academy.
"Well see you shisui" Both Naruto and itachi said in unison
"Well ok then cya later" he said before vanishing into a flicker of motion
"He got to teach us that" Naruto said
"Yeah" Itachi replied simply as they were walking into the classroom there senses were put into danger alert
"You feel that" Naruto whispered
"Yeah" Itachi replied, they looked around and saw 90 percent of the girls that were 1 to 2 years older than them just staring with hearts in their eyes.
"Umm what's happening" Naruto asked with small amounts of concern seeping into his voice
"I think there called fangirls shisui told me about them"
"Really what are they"
"He referred to them as love obsessed girls who are a disappointment to all kunoichis"
"Why is that"
"They diet and don't accurately try to become shinobi but get with there so called crush and expect them to be there knight in shining armor"
"So like their own little fantasy" naruto asked, Itachi just nodded a neutral expression over his face.
"Alright class settle down" The teacher yelled He was a large man with a circular face and a small beard on his chin he also wore the traditional uniform of a leaf chunin
"My name is Daikoku Funeno and I will be your teacher food your remaining time in the ninja academy"
"I will now call the roll"
Hana Inuzuka, hear, Saisu Kamano, hear, ko Hyuga, hear, Itachi Uhciha, hear , Naruto namikaze, hear.
After that the class started mummering
"isn't that the son of the 4th"
"Ok class calm down"
After that little incident daikoku started teaching about the basic uses of chakra and the history of the village with a break in between
"This is so boring" Naruto whispered
"Deal with it" Itachi responded Naruto just groaned
"But we know all this stuff why do we have to go through this"
"You know we have to do at least a year in the academy before we can graduate right"
'And you know most people will have do 5 to 6 years before they graduate"
"UHHHH but I don't want to" Itachi just sweat dropped at his friends antics
"Well deal with it im sure we will be out of here as soon as we can" Naruto just nodded agreeing with his statement.
8 months later
"Ok we are halfway through Now" Naruto said as the bell rang signifying the end of the day
"Naruto, Itachi please stay" Said daikoku
"Yes daikoku sensei" they both replied as they were walking up to the desk they locked eyes and nodded ever so slightly, the gesture was not noticed by daikoku sensei
"I'm sorry for taking your time you are not in any trouble, I would like to congratulate you because of tomorrow you will be moving up to the oldest class where you will take the genin test at the end of the year with the rest of that class" the two five year olds looked at each other and grinned
"they will only have to be in the academy for another 6 months before they can leave" they both thought.
"Thank you sensei" Itachi said
"No problem Itachi" daikoku replied
The next morning
"All right Naruto are you already" Said a concerned kakashi
"Im fine big bro kakashi" Naruto replied, Naruto felt a pull on his pant, he saw a baby mito crawling trying to get him to pick him up
"Oh hello little mito" Naruto said as he picked up mito
"B,B"
"Oh my god she is gonna say it" Naruto thought
"Brother" Mito said with a huge smile on her face that brightened up the room
"DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT" Kakashi yelled
"mito said her first word to you and not me" kakashi said with a upset look on his face
"D,D,Dada," Mito said with a laugh.
"Oh my god, am I hearing things or did she just call me dada"
"I think she did" with the same surprised look on his face, kakashi had a large smile on his face
"Well I'm a bit confused but it works" Kakashi thought
'Ok Imma head out and meet itachi now" naruto yelled as he was walking out the door, as he walked out he made a hand sign and disappeared in a swirl of leaves, as he appeared outside the uchiha compound
"Yo Itachi ready to see your new class"
"Yeah I am" Itachi replied simply as they walked into the classroom they got a lot of looks from the rest of the class
"Who are they, there so young"
"All right class today we get two new students"
"Say hello to lord Namikaze and Itachi uchiha"
"Namikaze isn't that the fourth hokages son" muttered around the class
"As you can see these two boys are extremely talented and have been moved up to the top class at a young age of 5 years old"
"Wow" was the thought around the class
"That's not fair, why do they get to skip all your boring lessons?" said a brown haired girl with 3 puppies lying on her desk.
"Quirt hana" The teacher yelled
As they went to sit down at the back next to a purple haired girl who had a sword on her back
"Who are you" Naruto asked
"My name is Yūgao yuzuki" The girl replied politely
"My name is naruto and this is itachi" The girl just nodded
"Anyway are you excited to graduate naruto asked with a big smile on his face"
"A little but I Am a bit disappointed" She said with a sad smile on her face
"what's wrong" Naruto said with itachi becoming more interested
"Oh it's nothing just my friend could not graduate this year because she went missing about 5 months ago"
"We had really wanted to graduate together"
"How did she go missing" Itachi asked running over all the facts he had gathered
"She went on a training trip with her master orochimaru of the sannin"
"You mean the biggest traitor since madara uchiha"
"Yeah" she said, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Do you think she is still alive itachi asked bluntly" Naruto elbowed itachi in the side
"Blunt much he said a harsh whisper"
"I meant no disrespect"
"Most people don't see things in cold hard logic like you, you should probably think about saying something like that it could A hurt the mission and B hurt the person" itachi just nodded, Naruto was surprised when instead of the tears falling he saw resolve in her eyes.
"I don't think she is alive I know it and will find her" Itachi smiled
"I would like to help you in that task" Yūgao was surprised by the child she had met not even half an hour ago and was blunter than a hammer that wanted to help her.
"But why"
"I am interested in your motivation and I would like to meet someone who you consider precious"
"I would like to help to" Naruto said with a foxy grin
"Well alright then It's your choice"
"But thankyou I really appreciate it"
"Lord Namikaze" She said teasley, naruto scowled at that you know for a 13 year old you're awfully immature" Naruto stated
"Hey" Yūgao yelled
"Just proving his point" Itachi murmured
Yūgao just huffed
"Stupid genius brats" Naruto just rolled his eyes in mock iration.
2 Minutes later the teacher walked in with the tests
All right class first there will be a written test as he went around handing the tests out he paused next to itachi who was on the outer row
"Are you sure you are ready for this" he asked naruto and itachi
"We are sure sir" They both replied
"all right then," he said with a smile stretching across his face.
As Naruto was filling out the test and answering all of the moderately difficult questions, he came to the final question of what happened on the 10th of October, 9 months ago.
Flashback
Naruto was running to the hokage tower to go find his grandfather figure the third hokage he paused as a massive piece of debris falling on to him until one of the foxes massive tales swung and stopped the massive piece of concrete, as he looked into the beast eyes he was surprised to see the red tomoe of the sharingan but behind that he saw respect and hope, all of these emotions changed his sharingan temperly to a 8 pointed star he was transported somewhere he was looking at the beast fighting something, what is happening he thought.
"Boy come here" He was shocked the nine tailed fox could talk
As he ran towards towards the fox his guard still up
"I need to give you something" The fox growled from the effort of keeping the presence at bay
"Huh" was his smart reply
"Please you are the one I know it"
"That time we spent together inside your mother I can feel it"
"So I need to give you a gift, a gift of eternal light
"What do you mean eternal light" Naruto yelled but before he could get an answer the kyuubi touched his fingernail to his forehead and then sent him back to his body
"W,W, what the hell was that?" He said, a small shiver going up his spine before he past out.
Flash back end
"That was a easy question he thought"
Finishing up the test he turned his paper upside down and waited for everyone else to finish so the teacher could come pick up his paper.
25 minutes later the teacher came around and collected all the students paper
"All right class we are going outside to throw your kunai and shuriken and to show you skill with another weapon however that is optional, as they moved out side there was a bunch of not notable students
"Izumo Kamizuki" The teacher yelled he had a bandana and a standard looking blue jumper with standard chunin pants. As he went up to the target he took aim and fired them off one after another
"7/10 on both kunai and shuriken not bad
"kotetsu Hagane" The teacher yelled
"As expected the same score as Izumo
"Kabuto Yakushi" yelled As kabuto went up to throw his silver hair blew in the wind and Naruto felt the presence of something but as soon as he felt it was gone, Naruto Narrowed his eyes at the boy something was up with him. As he went to throw he aimed and scored 8/10 for shuriken and 7/10 for kunai.
"Hayate Gekko" Was called as he walked up to throw Naruto got a good look at him he was a sickly looking boy with brown hair and a bandana with two bangs on the side of his face, he also had a sword strapped to his back and the same bracelet that Yūgao had.
"Hey Yūgao why does he have the same bracelet as you" Yūgao just blushed
"Well um he um may Kinda"
"Yeah" Naruto asked
"Umm my boyfriend" she said with a mega blush on her face
"But what would that entail" Itachi asked with pure curiosity showing on his face
"Um er Shut up" she yelled once more.
"But anyway I assume you both practicing the art of the sword together" Naruto asked Yūgao just smiled
"But yeah he have practiced since we were 10" She said with a smile on her face
As they turned back they saw he had scored 8/10 on both kunai and shuriken.
"Well done hayate" Yūgao yelled a smile spreading over her face
"Iruka umino" was yelled as the name was called. They saw a boy come to throw with a scar running across his nose and a clear lack of sleep shining through his eyes.
"What happened to him" Naruto asked
"Apparently his parents died in the kyuubi attack" Naruto looked down wondering if he knew of the condition would he hate his little sister mito.
"Well I can't blame myself for thinking that I can just feel that people need to channel their hatred somewhere. I wonder what I can do about it" he pondered as he looked back he saw 7/10 of the kunai had landed and 6/10 for the shuriken had landed perfectly.
"Hana Inuzuka" was yelled as the girl with 3 puppies and red fang marks with brown hair tied up in a ponytail went up to throw. As she threw the kunai and shuriken she scored 8/10 for kunai and 9/10 for shuriken
"Well done Hana" The teacher Said
"Oh yeah Inuzuka for the win" she said with a massive grin on her face Yūgao smiled at the success of her friend
"Yūgao Yuzuki" was Yelled
"You got this Yūgao" Naruto yelled as she went up to throw he felt to confidence coming of Yūgao
"well I guess we will see how she goes" Itachi states
"Yeah maybe she will be better than us" Naruto says with a excited smile
"I guess we will see" Itachi says, As she throws the shuriken they hear the thuds as they look up at the targets and see all of the shurikens have landed perfectly on the target
"Wow" Naruto says with a smile on his face
"Yes she is quite skilled," Itachi says a unusual smile blooming over his face
As Yūgao went to throw the remaining kunai she had a disgruntled look on her face as she scored a 9/10
"I thought I would be able to get a perfect 10" She thought
"Well Done Yūgao" Naruto said a smile stretching over his
"Thanks but I would have loved to get a perfect 10" She said a small pout on her face
"Well you have the best scores so far so I would not see a reason to complain" Naruto said as energetic as ever
"I suppose your right plus I would love to see you little ones beat that score"
"Your on" They both replied instantly
"Naruto Namikaze" Was yelled
"Watch watch me itachi I am going to do that Shuriken and kunai technique we were working on"
"Ok well don't go stuffing it up will you"
"Nah you worry to much"
"You don't worry enough" Itachi countered
"Fare enough" Naruto considered
"Would you two stop bickering and get ready to throw" Asked the teacher
"Yes sensei" Naruto said as he was walked up to the target he was handed the shuriken he had a devilish smirk on his face, as he jumped into the air and performed a barrel roll he launched all the shuriken at once as he landed there was silence, until a hana and Yūgao both yelled
"Haaaaa"
"Well I guess I showed a bit much anyway time for kunai" As he grabbed the kunai he was getting ready to jump channeling chakra into his legs and tracking the targets with his eyes he leaped high into the air and started to rapidly barrel rolled as he landed everyone but Itachi was confused
"Um Naruto you didn't do anything" Said daikoku sensei
"Um sensei would you mind having another look at the target" daikoku had another look and his eyes bulged all 10 kunai were stuck perfectly into the target
"Ok Then time for Itachi Uchiha" The teacher said a bit dumbstruck, as itachi went up to the target he casually threw both kunai and shuriken and both landed perfectly on the targets
"Another perfect score how good are these kids" was whispered around the academy training ground
"Well done Itachi and Naruto"
"Thank you sensei" Naruto said with Itachi giving a short bow, Moving back into the classroom they all sat down waiting for there turn with the ninjutsu segment as people were going into the classroom coming out with headbands or tears in their eyes, as the people Naruto noticed all passed and were sitting close together
"Naruto Namikaze your next"
"Well here I go" Naruto said with a fake cocky smile
"Yes yes I Hope you fail" Itachi started with a small misgivings smile
"Oi what is happening you never joke"
"I guess we will see" Itachi stated scaring Naruto slightly, as Naruto went into the exam room he came back seconds later with a cocky smile and a headband in his hand
"Darn you two are monsters aren't you" Yūgao said surprise showing all over her face
"I would suppose so but you have not seen anything yet" Naruto said false bravado shining through, as Itachi's name was called he walked calmly into the classroom moments later he came out the same was with a headband
"All right class, all of you who have graduated meet in this room for further instruction tomorrow and people who didn't make the cut please meet in room 208 thank you" daikoku stated, sighing then walking out.
