"How could it have ended like this?" Naruto whispered to himself, looking down on the wet and muddy road as he walked a broken man slowly in the rain that concealed the bleeding sun, whilst the villagers and shinobi of the place he once proudly called home jeered, cursed, spit, and bellowed at him, throwing objects ranging from rags to kunai at the jinchuriki.

The latter of the thrown item was already sharply on his back, with around six to a few dozen on him, ignoring the pain he slowly walked out of the gates, with Jiraiya behind a few ways away him facing the crowd, screaming at them to stop while attempting to defend his former students along with the newly arrived Tsunade and Naruto's former teacher Iruka, with Konohamaru kneeling on the ground, looking down with his body facing towards Naruto's fading figure.

The current generation of shinobi looked upon the morose scene neutrally and the former generation and older looked upon the kyuubi incarnate, to them, in disgust and was glad it was near out of their sights and senses. Hinata, his meek admirer, attempted to go with Naruto but was restrained by various Hyuga branch members and ANBU.

Naruto's sombre walk did not stop, as he was looking down to the ground with blank eyes, above and behind him the clouds roared, with greater intensity the prevailing wind seemingly went down to the ignoble Konohagakure no Sato and wreaked wrathful vengeance upon the people, uplifting houses and people, of which rocketing viciously at civilians, shinobi, other houses, even colliding with other uplifted houses midair, with the bodies of people splattering lifelessly to the ground, covering the roads in sprays of red and houses unharmed along with the uplifted homes in gore, everyone barely able to see a few metres in front of them, only seeing dust and inks of red all over.

For a few more minutes the chaos didn't seem to halt anytime but as quickly as it came it dispersed, albeit with a trail of destruction and blood, and not only the face-value destruction was uncovered with the disappearance of the red mist and debris, revealing the faces of the the First and Second semi-covered in debris, with pools of human blood on them, looking as if they cried tears of blood, and the Third Hokage's was completely thrashed with blood, no centimetre left uncovered by the red lifeblood and lines of dead sticked on his face, making a trail of tears, making it the most horrific sight of sights many puked, some fainted and other did not see it, looking below them to see the dead and destruction, loved ones gone never to be embraced again.

The Fourth Hokage's mug was untouched, with the dead Hokage's former smile turning into a deep scowl looking down upon the distraught shinobi and civilians, with those looking at the four faces with fearful looks and ominous thoughts clouding their minds. Tsunade's face in the mountain however wasn't to be seen, no trace of it even indicating its existence before the events portrayed.

Jiraiya look on around with a neutral expression, not wanting to help anyone in the village due to their showing of true colours, from their attacks and jeers at Naruto's slowly retreating, fleeting phantom of what he once was, which was by now far gone, hearing the loud screams of terror of the villagers through the walls but not bothering to look back, deafened by his thoughts and recollections.

The Toad Sannin and Slug Princess along with Iruka looked at the chaos, not fazed in the least, but with Iruka's eyes roaming and cringing, seeing the bodies of former students in blood. The two Sannin thought nothing of the massacre in front of them, with their thoughts blurring their perception of the outside world.

Konohamaru amidst the chaos ran towards Naruto out the gates of his home, not looking back nor missing this opportunity that would never again come back, of which he knew deep down.

Flashback-

Naruto entered the council for the first time in years since his training trip, shortly after his saving of Gaara from the Akatsuki.

Upon entry he saw two long tables in his left and right, the two tables faced each other, with the left side being composed of the clan heads, with some chairs unfilled, and on the right only five civilians with no unfilled chairs, whilst in front of Naruto was the desk of which the Hokage sat, with the advisors sitting on a table of which all three were present, with them and their table being in Tsunade's left-hand side which is Naruto's right-hand side.

Tsunade's eyes were overshadowed by her hair, with her hands clasped together on the table.

Naruto with a tired visage stood in the middle, peered by the people in the room until Tsunade with gritted teeth and the deadliest of eyes, looked up at Naruto she whispered, "You have been banished from the Land of Fire and Konohagakure no Sato by the order of the Daimyo and civilian council, after great deliberation we have decided that your… special condition isn't worth the risk it has given us, with the Akatsuki on the loose we cannot afford to be targeted due to your status, with charges of assaulting a clan head, assaulting a fellow Konoha shinobi, using excessive force, vandalising, harassing, theft, resisting ANBU, attempted murder, and various other charges being also cause of this barring and banishment…"

Naruto's face morphed with narrowed eyes and an angry scowl at her until Tsunade covered her face and tears began to run down her face, with Naruto misunderstanding her gritted teeth and eyes.

Naruto's eyes widened but the realisation of it all, memories of Team Seven, and the Konoha Eleven with the images of Teuchi, the ramen store owner and his practically sister Ayame.

The clan heads looked on in sadness at this event and scowled at the civilians, with the exception of Hiashi who had a neutral expression and the Elders who also scowled at the civilians but for the wrong reasons, with the civilians themselves wearing a smug facade, with their emotions looking that of unfulfillment as they thought they would feel more than the empty surge of adrenaline they felt.

At this moment Naruto's eyes blanked and slowly left the room head down, slowly closing the door.

Once the door was closed Tsunade could not keep it anymore and slammed the desk with all her power.

The desk did not budge, being a creation of her grandfather the First Hokage but it creaked, with the floor it stood on cracking whilst emitting a shockwave that rendered the ears of most if not all of them ringing, with the ears of the civilians exploding, with even Danzo even failing to hide his emotions, which was of now a grimace and bleeding ears.

Tsunade glared at the civilians and the Elders, sick of their actions, stood up, and slammed the table of the civilian council, with the table shattering instantly and impaling all the civilians without death, and the entire room with shrapnel with everybody dodging in silence, with nobody even bothering to stop her, with Danzo supporting her actions unspokenly.

Soon shouts outside were heard and yelling of jutsu names and one word, "Demon."

All knew what was happening and Tsunade looked up and ran to Naruto as fast as possible.

Turning a corner her trail was soon followed by Jiraiya of whom shortly heard the news, with the two Sannin seeing Iruka deflect a kunai with his.

Flashback End-

Naruto whilst walking sifted through all his memories with even a lick of Konoha on them, thinking about Sasuke, breaking him even more, a kindred brother who'd abandoned him.

Naruto's trains of thoughts stopped as he looked around him, being a bit more unhinged now, with not a shackle of guilt, sadness, nor revenge tainting him, he shewed his true spirits.

His feet led him to somewhere he wasn't supposed to be, an inconspicuous looking cave. Naruto was about to enter when the Kyuubi roared in his mind and pulled Naruto easily at the mindscape.

The Kyuubi untold, "I sense a presence in there I haven't seen since the Sage of Six Paths was alive, be beyond careful, they seem… too docile as of now."

Naruto looked at him with distrust but nodded absentmindedly.

He exited the mindscape and began his trek through their domicile.

Naruto held the walls for balance, with the cave being quite damp from the rain. Upon entering the cave it seemed darker than it was from the outside, gradually after a few minutes everything was dark until he couldn't move, not being able to see anything.

"WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" A cacophony of voices screamed around him, unable to be pinpointed.

Naruto screamed in return, but just gibberish, being incredibly startled by the voices.

Kyuubi recognized the voices, and was heavily nervous and regretted his host going into the cave nor his lack of veering him away..

Naruto thought and whispered, "I don't have anywhere else to go…"

They widened their eyes and unanimously exclaimed, "Oh?"

Naruto looked around to see again through the darkness until they said, "Very well, you shall stay here under our care, for a price…"

Kyuubi widened his eyes visibly within his cage and said to Naruto, "Tread carefully, these entities exceed my power by great margins, don't anger them…"

"W-well what's the deal about?" Naruto asked hesitantly.

Their eyes glittered and for a minute it was pure silence, only the rain, Naruto's breathing, and the near imperceptible breaths of the entity were heard.

"Hm… We shall teach you the ways of old!" The entity exclaimed with a screech of their cacophonous voices ranging from the lowest vocal range to screech-like sounds on a chalkboard that barely were understandable.

Naruto asked curiously but with a bit of doubt, "The ways of old?"

"Yes, We shall teach you the ways of Ninshu… and our way… positive and negative chakra."

Naruto nodded and directly in front of Naruto's face was a face made of an unknown grey-white material of which ironically didn't have facial features, of which was in Naruto's view, illuminated by the entity's eyes which were but glowing orbs of light.

With a smile made of literal light from the entity the cave was illuminated with bodiless faces floating around Naruto resembling the original face in front of Naruto, from the ceiling to the sides, behind, and below. The only difference between each face were their expressions.

The Kyuubi widened its eyes and thought, "The Facelessnes… I never thought they'd still be alive…"
