A hand slams onto the alarm clock, quieting it. The brown haired girl rubs her eyes tiredly and leaves her bed. She looks over to the bed right next to her; Her best friend snores loudly.
"Wake up"
"I Said WAKE UP!"
She throws her pillow at the sleeping blond, shooting up from the bed like a fountain "WHA- WHERE- WHO'S THERE!?"
"Ohayo, Marisa. Get up, you know what today is"
"Right.. It's find-a-job day. I remember"
"Thats right! We're low on money and expenses aren't going to pay for themselves"
"Do we have to find a job? Im sure if we stretch out whatever donations we get today im sure we'll make it for another week"
"Marisa, if we stretch our donations for another week im certain the Namahiga Group will cut our water supply and we'll have to bath in the pond like animals! Do you want a repeat of what happened last time?"
"Fair point.. I suppose it is better to work the occasional odd job than having perverts sneak up on us like last time. Ill get changed.."
"Excellent! I'll get to breakfast"

Reimu hands Marisa a plate "Bland Tofu; The broke shrine maiden's special"
Marisa looks at the tofu in disappointment
"Do we at least have some soy sauce to make this cube of blandness edible?"
"We don't have money for soy sauce. This is what stretching donations gets you, Marisa; Bland, Boring Tofu"
"Alright, i get your point! I just wanted to save us some money"
Reimu sits right next to Marisa
"Saving can only get you so far when we barely even get donations nowadays"
"Oh, what are two shrine maidens to do for a bit of money?"
"Lets see"
Reimu unrolls the morning newspaper; The Crow Times and takes a read
"Human marries Youkai.. New Telewave sets... 101 ways to cook millet.. Mayohiga cat festival.. Aha, Job offers!"
"What kind of dirty work to the people want today?"
"Im checking. Hmm.. How do you feel about being a sake brewer for a month for the Myouren Brewing Group? I hear they need taste testers!"

"Uhh.. not very much. Most of the payment is in free sake"
"As much as i want to be paid in cheap booze, i think i like not going hungry first"

Reimu flips the newspaper over

"Is it worth my time?"
"Sure is! Its a job for Exterminators!"

The two look at the ad.

SUITOFURUTSU COLONY, ICHI COAST, SOUTHEASTERN GENESE COASTLINE.

"Reimu, if we take this job we'll BE SET FOR YEARS! WE'LL BE ABLE TO RENOVATE THE SHRINE, EAT ALL THE FOOD WE COULD WANT AND EVEN HAVE OTHERS WORKING FOR US! WE AB-"
"Hold it! We need to think this through"
"But Reimu, This is THE-"
"There are several things to think over, Marisa. First, The Ad specified little about this supposed Extremely dangerous Youkai; How are we supposed to exterminate this danger when we barely know anything about it? Second, 50,000 Mon isnt pocket money; This treat has to be something really bad if they are offering 50,000 Mon for its extermination. Third, It will take is a whole day and a half of non-stop flight to reach the Ichi Coast if we don't get shot down on the way through anti-human youkai land. Fourth, We'd be going to the Yukkuri People's homeland. We barely know anything about these particular Yukkuri People and if we mess up we'll most likely never get another job offer like this"
"Reimu, if we don't do this job we'll never get another one like this! And besides, when was the last time we haven't fought a world-ending youkai and made it out just fine?"
"4 Years ago"
"Don't you miss that sense of adventure, Reimu? Don't you miss going to fights head-on and traveling across Gensokyo free as a bird? Don't you miss the adrenaline of nearly dying a horrible death? Don't cha?"
"...Well, i suppose things have gotten somewhat stale here just maintaining the shrine and hoping for donations"
"Thats what im talking about! We'll make it big, Reimu! The Moriya Shrine will be a mere teahouse compared to our shrine once we have the money for renovations to the point we'll probably be able to make it out of solid gold from the endless stream of donations! Just imagine it; Beds of pure silk, a huge Telewave in our bedroom, people from all over Gensokyo coming here to worship and all the hot fish bowls i could ever want! Ah, fish bowls.."
Marisa drools on the table at the thought of fish bowls
"Thats nice and all but first things first, but what language do these particular yukkuri people speak?"
"Well, they managed to write the ad in Genese, right? So maybe they speak gensese like we do!"
"...I suppose you make some good points, Marisa. I suppose i start gathering supplies for the flight there?"
"Ill get the weapons!"

The two shrine maidens stand outside of the shrine. Reimu wearing a bulky armor while Marisa wears a lighter armor.
"Ah, I haven't been this excited for quite some time, Reimu! Just you and i on a adventure for riches in whats basically a whole new world! It'll be great!"
"Hey"
"Yeah?"
"You got Ruukoto with you, right?"
"Oh yeah, here ya go"
Marisa passes Reimu a rather bulky backpack-like unit with many things poking out of it. Reimu attaches it on her back and presses a button. A robotic arm & camera pokes out of the unit
"RUUKOTO MAID UNIT ACTIVATED. GOOD MORNING, REIMU HAKUREI & MARISA KIRISAME. HOW MAY I HELP YOU TODAY?"
Reimu clears her throat
"Ruukoto, Status report"
"DATE: 130TH SEASON, MINAZUKI, 22ND. BATTERY LEVEL: 78 PERCENT. TEMPS: NOMINAL. DATA LEFT: 100,000 AB LEFT. TOTAL SYSTEM STATUS: NOMINAL."
"Ruukoto, I need you to set a route to the Ichi Coast that preferably avoids hostile airspace-"
"And at least has somewhere to eat and sleep"
