The first time the timeline was thought to be fucked was when Sirius Black was waking up with a serious case of Deja'vu.
He felt like he had already lived out his life but something was nagging at him from the inside and he just could not put a voice to it.
It sounded like him but older but he brushed the thoughts of that voice telling him keep an eye on Peter.
But Sirius being Sirius, he ignored the warning.
The second time the timeline was thought to be fucked was when a young woman with brown hair appeared at Hogwarts.
She felt familiar but she wasn't supposed to be here as least not yet.
Not while he was still here and that damn voice would tell him but once again the voice was brushed off and
Sirius introduced himself to the girl with no last name, Hermione.
The timeline was definitely fucked with when Sirius Black took Hermione's face into his hands and bringing her face to his and kissing her and that was the moment it all became too clear for Sirius.
He had lived this life before, he had comeback through the veil but Hermione was the one who traveled too far back in time because she only intended to lessen the casualties of the battle at Hogwarts.
The timeline remained fucked after Sirius would send Hermione back after all two of her couldn't exist in this world but he knew would see her later...much later.
There would be no betrayal. He would have all his chosen family as well in a surprising turn of events the family he left behind. He wasn't sure what Hermione did but with time things had improved to say the least.
It felt like a private joke between the two time travelers as they eventually reunited. Sirius was surprised that Hermione's memories weren't effected and she recalled everything of the new and the old timeliness.
Though they did owe quite an explanation for when Hermione jumped into his arms and kissed him on the mouth. Also how and why Hermione was too familiar with the marauders way before she was intended to meet them. It took some time for both Sirius and Hermione to be forgiven for that level of secrecy.
So after the explanation of everything.
"So with a complete disregard for the laws of time and magic, you two blatantly tell it to get fucked" James Potter pointed out.
"When you put like that Prongs, yes" replied Sirius.
