1. Foreword

Dear Reader,

I am excited to share with you my contribution to Legends of Bend-Fore, which I have decided to rewrite after numerous attempts to contact the original author went unanswered. While the original work was good, it was plagued with terrible grammar that often made it difficult to read.

It's important to note that my contribution is not a continuation of the original author's "canon," but rather a complete rewrite of the story. While I changed some of the core elements and themes, the plot and characters will undergo little change.

I want to assure the original author that if they ever return and wish for me to take down this story, I will do so immediately. I understand the importance of respecting an author's wishes and intellectual property, and I would never want to take credit for someone else's work.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my take on this story and the new directions it takes. Thank you for reading.
