***Y/n Pov***
We're am I thought unsure of my surroundings. Dim light was on the ceiling making the particles in the air shimmer. I put my hand over my head feeling the throbbing of a head ache come on. I stretched my leg's and rubbed my eye's standing up quite wobbly. This... this isn't my room... what happened ...I could hear a low banging sound come from outside so I decided to check it out. The sun was absolutely misery to my barley awake eye ball's.I turned to the roof to see a shirtless Kakashi's sensei. I instantly regretted ever even getting up feeling my face heat up I went to make a hasty retreat back inside, but of course before I could he called me. I looked up a him having to shield my eye's with my hand. "Yo.." Sensei said while coming down from the roof once he was at my level I used every ounce of my power to look at anything but him. Sure I had seen plenty of shirtless ninja. But I was a healer, it was different than though, because this seventeen year old man was definitely not in need of healing in fact it looked like he need a towel to dry is sweaty abs.
"Is everything alright y/n?" The sound of my name only made my blush deepen. I swear it was spreading like wild fire first my face and than clawing its way slowly to my chest. Damnit... I heard some words but I was so lost in my own thought's that my brain wasn't processing them. Say something you idiot. But I couldn't I was froze there unable to move. Ha a ninja like me being brought down by a pair of hot abs... I instantly smacked my checks pressing my hands hard to my face. NO! Why the hell are you thinking that, I was so worked up that I hadn't realized that Kakashi had walked up to me and placed his fingers under my chin to lift my face gently . I instantly tensed not used to being touched. And no one ever touched my face. And than I met his onyx grey eye. He didn't say anything and I could feel myself hyperventilating from the contact. And than I stupidly looked down his abs now right In my face and my whole body turned red. I started to lose feeling in my leg's and began to slowly melt to the floor. He caught me before I sunk to low holding me up with his hands. I couldn't tell what kind of look he had because my brain was slowly going into a full fledge melt down. I could feel him shaking me than his hands met my face and he pulled me to look at him. He didn't let go till I was calmer and was aware of my surrounding's but the more aware I became the more I noticed he was bent over top of me and was holding my face I instantly backed away hitting the front door with my back. He stood up with a worried expression glued to his face. He started to step closer reaching for me and all I could do was blurt the first thing that came to mind.
"I'M SO SOORY KAKASI!" And I opened the door not stopping till I got to mine, locking the door behind me and sliding down it till I hit the floor. I tried to relax my rapid breathing taking slow steady breaths. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest and if that didn't help it amplified my headache to a full blown migraine. I laid my head to the cool floor hoping for some relief... but none came I crawled back to the bed and laid down again. But sleep wouldn't take me and after about two hour's Kakashi sensei was knocking on my door. I groaned not ready to face my actions. He probably though I was some teenaged idiot unable to control my hormones . I had read many romance books including Jiraiya sensei's novels that he gave to me personally which I appreciated but still found to be kind of odd. But I was no where near bold enough to adventure on any of the thing's Ihad read. Men were a mystery to me and I preferred it that way. Another knock. And than a low voice through the door.
"Y/n... Please come out and talk to me." Silence. "Oh come on... please I don't understand what I did." Still silence. "I do have a key you know." And again more silence. "Well you better be decent I'm coming in." I heard a metal turning and than the door opening I pulled the cover more over my head as to avoid seeing him in case he was still shirtless. A weight drooped the lower half of the bed and I curled more tightly into a ball, avoiding his touch at all costs. He didn't seem to get the hint and put his hand on my ankle holding firmly but not tight.
"Y/n..." Silence. "What's going on... Are you alright. It looked like you were having another panic attack. I didn't mean to scare you if that's what happened I was just fixing some tiles on the roof. I was actually surprised you were up it's only been like three hour's t's only eight. You need more sleep than that."
He trailed off and I still couldn't bring myself to answer him. So he was quite for a second. He moved his hand unexpectedly and I flinched.
"You know I would never hurt you right? I only came in here to make sure you were okay. I've watched you have a panic attack it's scary honestly and I.. really don't know what to do to make you feel better.. you were really warm and had a red face. Do you maybe have a fever?"
I mentally smacked myself for being so stupid. He went to get up and I panicked not wanting him to feel like any of this was his fault.. after all we were in his home on his land. And it was normal for guy's to be shirtless even if I wasn't use to it. I peeked out from the blanket and grabbed his pant pocket stopping him him from leaving. "D...do you have a shirt on..." I said as low as possible hoping maybe he didn't hear me. "Yes." He said just as low standing still. I sat up but with my head down and pulling my knee's to my chest leaning against the headboard.
***3rd Person Pov***
Kakashi's looked at y/n as she curled herself into a little ball against the head board he didn't understand what was going on with her.. what could she be thinking? They stayed in silence for sometime before she finally spoke again. "You surprised me." He cocked his eyebrow at her still not understanding. He did announce himself when she stepped outside. She peeked at his face flushing because he was looking at her. She swallowed ready to divulge her completely stupidity to him. Once she fully explained the situation kakashi couldn't help but hold back a chuckle. So his being shirtless had startled her so bad she almost passed out at the sight of him. He couldn't hep but feel slightly pleased while also feeling a bit guilty since that wasn't his intentions. He told her to get more sleep to which as always she refused not enjoying him telling her what to do she shooed him out of her room so she could change. He went back outside and continued replacing the small cracked roof tiles. Several hour's passed and soon enough it was there. The smell of food was wafting up to him from the house asking his stomach lurch in response. He jumped down and opened the door to find food on the coffee table with a drink. He looked up to his right at the kitchen and noticed the back door open with the screen door shut and a figure that was sitting near the edge of the cliff far from the house with something in her hands. He ate quickly curious to what she was doing. He made his way to her and noticed the Sharingan scrolls sprawled in her lap. She looked up at him having heard him open the back door.
"Did you eat?" He shook his head and she hummed in response looking back to the scroll. She was really trying to get this grunt work out of the way so they could really practice the Sharingan. She only knew the basic's but the Hokage told her long ago that her's was special and he would find someone to train her to master it. Ughh.. but why did it have to be him she thought as she glanced at him through the curtain her hair was providing. He was laying beside her with his eye's closed arm's behind his head the wind lightly swaying his pretty silver hair back and forth letting the sun soak into his skin. She blushed and turned her eye's back to the scroll. Although it looked like he was relaxing Kakashi was actually thinking. And as alway's it was about her. He found it odd how much she would shrink away from his touch. She did it every time he tried and would whine constantly if he didn't stop. He wondered what made her like that and although he didn't want to pry he also wanted to know. His curiosity getting the better of him.
"Hey. Can I uhh ask a question? If you don't want to answer than that's fine I'm just.. curious." She nodded barley acknowledging him.
"Why do you hate being touched so bad?" As soon as the question was released from his lips she instantly tensed up. Her small hands dropped the scroll and clenched into fists that she pushed into her leg's. She didn't speak and Kakashi felt like he might of over stepped and was starting to regret saying anything. Y/n just looked down to her lap. She knew the answer to his question but did she want to tell him was the really question.. flash backs oh chains and walls. Knives, needles...and a small iron branding press that left a deep scar on the lower left side of her back. Even though they were healed wounds. Whenever she thought of them they burned mocking her. She broke the silence first.
"Have you ever tortured someone?" She asked while wrapping her arm's around herself, with no feeling in her voice that made Kakashi involuntarily shiver. He waited but she said nothing else.
"Exactly how do you mean?" He asked after all he was in the Anbu they did all kind's of unpleasant things. And well in all honesty he knew nothing of Y/n or her missions, she was a complete mystery that he actually enjoyed unraveling. But that also meant he didn't know what was in her past. She knew his, that was understandable though everyone talked bad about him, he only knew her parents were dead and Itachi killed the rest of her clan...but what else has happened to her he thought leaning up on his elbows to get a better look at her. But her face was covered by her white wall of hair. Like it alway was, like a wall of steel she put up.
"The almost kill someone for information kind. The get dumped for dead and get discovered by random people kind." She spoke slowly still emotionless. Like this topic completely sucked everything from her and it did y/n didn't like remembering the past. And how she had almost died to save ninja and people who didn't even try to defend her and let her be taken than tortured for almost a year and dumped by a river in hopes she would never be found only to have some elderly couple nurse her to health and finally get reinforcements to bring her home. She would never forget them and sent them gifts and cards all the time. But even though that was years ago and the mission wasn't supposed to go that way it was like it was planned. Danzo had been scouting her for awhile to 'induct' into the foundation saying she was a perfect candidate. But she declined not wanting to get mixed up in his twisted antics. Which promptly pissed the asshole off than she got sent on that mission with his men. And boom almost death. It shook her to the core... other peoples touch only frightened her now and of course grandma could tell. Y/n flinched, jumped and yelled every time anyone touched her. She never did ask and y/n never bothered to tell leaving at that. In fact only the Hokage and a few other choice silent officers and doctors knew what had happened sworn to secrecy. Than she had to train harder longer be faster better so no one could ever touch her again. Even if it meant she would forever be alone. "No I'm afraid I haven't done that."
Kakashi said breaking her train of thought. "Well... it sucks!" She said a little louder than normal fidgeting with her hands. She gathered her scrolls and turned to Kakashi who returned her gaze worried he had messed up again her eye's just looked dull and Kakashi couldn't stand to see his reflection in them. It made him feel.. empty but he could see something deep down but before he could decipher it she looked down. Which was irritating because he wasn't done reading her , he was always so quite and observant he happened to pick up some skills and although he wasn't good with people he could read them quite well actually being the wall flower he was and alway's watching other peoples moods or reactions their facial expressions. He noticed every time her mood changed which would happen to be a lot. But he summed it up to never having any company to socialize with her. And even if she did. Well she only spoke when needed. And stayed far away from the crowd. Her self isolation was something he understood though.
"I'm going for a walk." She said going into the house. A few moments later he heard her go out the front and then her foot steps disappeared. Sigh he was confused and now more worried. His real mission was to get her mind to think rationally and be able to act to keep her and everyone she was with safe. He needed her to be able to feel fear, after all if you can't feel fear well you're practically playing with matches than. Fear and many other thing's kept you from slipping up. It kept you and your team safe. But whatever may of happened to her had been her choice her decision, and well she didn't make the right one. Something he again knew all too well considering his past actions with his team that inevitably ended with them all dead. He didn't know quite what happened he wanted to find out and he hoped to do so before their trip ended he sighed on sure of what to do.
Y/n was walking back down the mountain trail. She was over half way down when she finally stopped and sat down to rest her feet. It was 3 o'clock. Although she wasn't sure how long she had been walking, y/n knew it had been for a couple of hours. Her mind was completely covered in thoughts. Most of them being bad and one was feeling a bit guilty. Kakashi had no clue about her passed and even though she told him some he would never understand what she was going through. Even if he said he did. But it still wasn't his fault. She knew he was just tying to get her to open up but it was hard. Letting people in when you don't know them or trust them. When you don't know their thoughts... Never knowing when they would betray you. That's why that mission happened the way it did. She had always felt that way. It was a set up and she was supposed to die. But it didn't work and now the Hokage had stepped in telling her he felt responsibly since he him self was the reason I was orphaned... but that's as far as he'd ever go no matter how much she pleaded with him he wouldn't say another word on the subject. She sighed resting on the grass looking up at the sky. She pulled a cigarette out of her pocket and lit a match puffing on it... Now she knew smoking was bad for her that. It would 'kill' her faster. But damn she just didn't give a fuck any more age me death. She thought but nothing happened. The breeze was pleasant and the near by bird's were sing to each other in the beautiful emerald tree's all around her. She closed her eye's and listened. She puffed again holding it in letting the foul taste fill her mouth than exhaled. She smoke but she still didn't like it. It was a stress reducer honestly and she only smoked when she really needed it. Which seemed to be a lot more now apparently. She looked up at the swirling shapes in the clouds. One of them had spikes. Ha Kakashi sensei she thought she put her finished cigarette in her pocket and continued to look at the sky. Slowly falling a sleep.
***Kakashi's Pov***
It had been several hour's since he'd heard from or seen y/n. It was 6:45 and he was getting really worried. She was never late to meals that was the one thing he could count on. And man for someone with such a petite delicate looking figure she sure could eat. An involuntary smile approached his face and he shook it off. No. No. This is not the time to think she's cute it's the time to panic he thought while grabbing the keys and locking the door behind him. He ran down the trail, it was the only place she could have went. But after almost two hour's he was absolutely losing it. He couldn't find her and he had been searching forever. Did she really run away? Was she captured? Did she fall down and hurt herself? Was she DEAD!? I could hardly stand it now starting to feel what y/n had felt during her panic attacks. And just as I was about to succumb to mine I heard some very faint sounds...almost likeeeee.. Breath! He knew it was he could hear it and with his Sharingan active he could see some chakra father down the hill. He didn't stop running until he reached the source and there she was. Laying on the grass curled up into a little ball sleeping the light of dusk just hitting her face it made her look beautiful. For a moment he wasn't lost in her peaceful expression until he remembered he was mad! He wanted to yell at her! Shake her awake anything to make her see how fucking worried he was it was like a habit of her running off. She was going to give him a damn heart attack. God why Hokage? Why me! He took a few long slow breaths than started over. Okay first.. is she able to be awoken. She hadn't slept much today and that was probably why she passed out here. Which was completely unsafe. Thank god nothing happened. I bent down and poked her cheek with my finger but got no response so plan be I guess. I knelt down and gently placed her on my back. I just couldn't find it me to wake her no matter how pissed I was right now she'd hear it later anyway's. He than started up the mountain. It was a long walk but y/n really wasn't heavy. Especially since she had on regular clothe's. Her bulky black coat really covered everything and was quite heavy too he remembered from picking it up surprised she was able to lift the weight let alone fight in it. But she probably likes it that way he thought saddened. She really was a beautiful girl even if she was three years younger than me. She could find a good guy if she could let him in... for some reason that bothered himbut either way having her on his back was bad after all he was seventeen and she was a girl close in age a pretty one.. he swallowed it did make him blush but his masked covered it. Even if it hadn't she was fast asleep anyway's. But he couldn't hep but say something out loud.
"You are such a handful feisty. You had me worried sick."
He sighed. As she seemed to hug him slightly tighter around his neck causing an even worse blush as her body started to warm the back of his. He tensed slightly until he hot use to the sensation than he relaxed. The walk back was tiring but only because it was a long walk. When he opened the door he went straight to his room.. I mean to y/n's room. He laid her down and took her hand's from his neck not enjoying the cold feeling that replaced them. He covered her up but was a bit worried about her missing dinner. Hmmmm.. damnit. He poked her cheek a few times until her eye's fluttered open and man when they did it took everything for him not to just openly stare at her. The moon was shining on her face and it lit her eye's up it made them almost glow like the sky and he was mesmerized. She sat up breaking the connection and rubbed her eye's. She yawned and than looked at me.
"Kakashi senseiiiiii...?" Her tired voice was low and cute. He wasn't sure why but wanted to hear it again.
"Hey do you wanna eat?" He asked. She shook her head no. Making him frown a bit. As long as they has been together she never skipped meals.
She went to lay back down but he enjoy stopped her making her sit back up. Although after this afternoon's conversation he was careful to be as gentle as possible.
"Are you sure? You'll be starving in the morning?" He said again hoping to get to hear her voice once more. She shook her head no slightly disappointing him. He covered her up and stood ready to leave. But before he was out the door he felt a tug on his shirt, I turned and looked into her half open sleepy eye's.
"Thank you Kakashi." She muttered lowly. "For what?" I asked bending down to be at eye level with her. She smiled and brushed her finger tips just barely over my face making it feel like it ignited. Before i could understand what was going on she spoke again taking my full attention.
"For just...being nice." After that her eye's closed again and he left her room with a smile.
***TIME SKIP 3 DAYS***
***3rd Pov***
It had been three day's since y/n and Kakashi had arrived and y/n was not happy she'd been studying these stupid scrolls for five days straight and was ready for some really practice. She didn't want to just read how it worked she wanted to try it. But Kakashi kept telling her to just keep reading them. She wouldn't do anything physical until she could memorize each scroll word for word. Of course unbeknownst to y/n Kakashi knew that wasn't possible it was too much information ,but he would have her study them at least till the end of the week. Mostly he just wanted to get as many repairs on the house done as soon as possible. Because when her real training began there would be no time for it anymore. But oh boy was he damn wrong as he watched y/n walking up to the tree he was resting in. Their last strange conversation the other day actually brought them closer especially since she called him just plain Kakashi he really liked the way it sounded on her tongue. And he pulled the same thing as before not answering her unless she said his name right. Was he being a bit of a child? Sure. Did she make him hike up and down the mountain to get her. Also yes plus he didn't really care. He watched as the short figure appeared with puffed cheeks that were a bit flushed. Y/n hair was blowing slightly away from her face by the wind giving me a clear view over her. She was in her ninja outfit. A black shirt with cutoff sleeves and a collar that climbed all the way to her neck and some shorts he couldn't help but stare at her neck. He shook his head trying to remain on task so Kakashi cocked an eye brow at her wondering what was going on. She simply stood there then looked up determination in her beautiful pale blue orb's. And than she spoke.
"A Sharingan allows a ninja to copy an opponents abilities by sight there for boosting the wielders own reflexes and perceptive abilities."
Y/n said without making any sense. "What the hell are you talking about now woman?" Kakashi questioned but she just continued.
"The Sharingan grants the wielder two board abilities. The eye of insight and the eye of hypnotism. The Sharingan can be evolved into the mangekyo Sharingan."
"The hell y/n hold on." Kakashi said. Jumping from his tree. "What are you talking about?" She stood tall she was going to stand her ground. She had remembered everything form the scrolls. It took her awhile but she was ready for the test. Ready to move on.
"Ask me anything Kakashi sensei! I've remembered everything I swear." She said excitedly. But my only response was an arched brow to which she sighed.
"Kakashi...". She muttered low barley a whisper. She dropped her head and red was starting to stain her cheeks. If there was one thing he knew he liked about her was she was easy to fluster. Well maybe it's just he was good at flustering her but seeing her blush was amusing all the same. "Remembered what?" "The scrolls you gave me I've remembered everything."
He looked at her a bit surprised now and started asking questions. They were hard questions but she knew the answer to each one. He sighed not ready to start the full on training he had a few thing's that really needed to be done. He looked back at the house then her face that was waiting for him to patiently say something. The house wouldn't complain if he didn't finish it. But looking back to her she would definitely have something to say.
"Can I at least finish repairing the fence first?" She nodded "I'll help I don't mind." "But why it's not your house he questioned?"
She shook her head. "So. Your my sensei and it's my job to help you just as much as it's your job to help me. Plus if I help you'll get done faster."
Ah he thought so that's why. But she was actually smiling. Mostly because she was excited to get started on really training. Who cared if she needed to help him out a bit. If it meant he'd train her she'd do it everyday. Plus he had been so nice to her she truly didn't mind at all so they fixed the fence and than started on her training. Se already knew how to activate her Sharingan. And had all the basic's for it down. It was just honing her skill she really didn't know what her Sharingan was. And it really pissed her off but Kakashi kept reassuring her that in time it would come out on its own. She was honest when saying she would help Kakashi fix the house and she was actually useful, handy with a hammer and axe. Plus her energy only seemed to increase the longer they stayed there. It got to the point where y/n was going to have to practice her Sharingan on her own. There was nothing more Kakashi could teach her without actually being in battle but that was why he had to take her with him under his wing when they returned and started on her Anbu training. He wasn't so sure how that would go.
***TIME SKIP 2 WEEKS***
***3RD POV***
Y/n Sharingan one on one training had long ended. And now they were into phase two of her training now it was time to hone her other skills. To be honest Kakashi was surprised she was amazing with her healing jutsu. But not only just that but she was awesome with her clone's, she could only do about ten but that was awesome. Not a lot of shinobi could do that, than there was her nature chakra. He did eventually make her give up her secret training back in Konoha. She of course gave it all away with out meaning too. Because to him she was easy to read and again easy to fluster. Either way he was very fascinated by her ability to wield four chakra nature's even if it was a big toll on her she was only 14 so he thought it was great progress already. He taught her about lighting and showed her his chidori which she mastered fast actually she mastered almost everything he'd showed her and her appetite for knowledge was astounding. She had found a whole bunch of his mom's old books on jutsu and training chakra. Thank god too Kakashi hadn't planned on all her questions he was very under prepared. And she was a never ending ball of energy. Not even in a way it bothered him it was more like she couldn't sleep because she wasn't getting something so she'd stay up all night exhausting herself so bad he started standing guard outside her door, or running off to do some of her own training by herself which Kakashi was allowing more now that he trust her. She had help him fix everything he could on the house. He would need more supplies. For that and that ways another days trip walk so it could wait till he came back again some day. He touched the front door frame looking how weather it was now. And than a loud boom sounded and there stood y/n flat on her ass in the front yard. She was practicing with fire again and it wasn't going to well. But all she needed was time. A slight smile came to his lips when she started to walk over to him. "Kakashi." Y/n said while brushing cinders off her butt. "Can I get some pointers please?" His smile widened at her now freely calling him his name. It had took awhile but she finally stopped blushing over it which was a pity for him because he liked it. He looked at her lazily feeling a bit bad. She had been up at six in the morning, she cooked breakfast for them and cleaned the house than went out and trained for another four hours until she felt defeated. All he did was shove food in his mouth. Read his book and wash dishes. So he stretched and than started walking over to a field by the house he had already cleared for the train they were about to do. She stared at Kakashi confused where was he going. He looked to her smiled than nodded for her to follow which she did still lost. Once she got to the middle Kakashi stopped suddenly making her bump into his chest which she blushed at before retreating to a slightly safer distance. He shook his head she would have to get used to him touching her she had no choice.
"Look..." He started unsure of how to phrase it without sounding odd. "I know you don't really like being touched but the next step in your training is physical combat." She shrank away from him a bit more.. sort of scared she knew she needed the lessons. But being touched sucked ass. She held he hand up to Kakashi who was only a few feet away since he had started to walk towards her. She inhaled and exhaled.
"I..I know in need the training. But I don't want to hurt you if you do something unexpected and I naturally react as you know I don't... well like being touched. So alway's be expecting it." She finished. Putting her hand down waiting for him to speak now. "Okay I'll make sure to stay on my guard." He smiled at her. If she wasn't so perceptive she'd never know when he was smiling. But she could see the fabric move when it happened. They began and at first it was really hard because as soon as he touched her she would slightly panic and tell Kakashi sensei to continue she would get use to it. He didn't want to push it but she insisted. And in the end he was the one getting worn out. Damn... she was fast. Her small stature and agile moves almost made her like a shadow. Even Kakashi was having a slight hard time seeing her with his Sharingan. Her blows weren't super hard but hard enough to leave a bruise she was practically playing cat and mouse with him leaving purple marks in her wake. Right when she was about to lay another blow he grabbed her wrist and threw her to the ground not hard enough to really hurt her but enough to knock the wind out of her. But she didn't go down alone as she had grabbed Kakashi by the shirt and when he looked down after landing on top of her almost, there was just a few inche's from his to her body. She had a smug smirk on her face to which he questioned having a kunai to her throat but she looked down him following her gaze to see he had one s well right by his stomach. He was quite surprised she had gotten him. Y/n victory over him made her forget what kind of position they were in. Until he looked back at her their gaze meeting. Than and only than did her face start to redden. She covered her face and closed her eye's hoping he wouldn't notice. But a low chuckle came from up above her and she felt something warm but rough grab her hand and pull her up. After a moment she opened her eye's and he was there looking at her with a smile that reached his eye.
"You do know that if you close your eye's in a fight you will get killed right? Or is that only with me?" He chuckled again deepening her blush. He enjoyed teasing her. It was just so easy plus the pouts on her face were cute. They continued that way the last two weeks. Y/n was so much more comfortable around Kakashi. And hardly ever blushed unless he really wanted her too. As the last few days of their trip were creeping up on them Kakashi decided to take y/n to the lake near the house. And a few other cool spot's. She wanted to train even though she found the scenery beautiful. But he wouldn't listen and told her they needed their rest before making the long trip back to Konoha. She didn't agree but listened none the less still training a bit on her own. And just like that. The last day was upon them. Which actually made Kakashi sad. He had enjoyed the peace and quite. Normally it was too quite here for just him, but y/n had livened the place up in the end putting fresh flower's everywhere. And making it a rule to leave the window's open to refresh the place and it now smelled like mountain air and flowers. He had grown fond of the white had girl she was growing on him and she actually did understand his pain. Well in her own way she did and just as he had hoped after having many late night talks their pain was a link to her. That had now grown into a very strong friendship. Which was another reason he was regretting leaving he was now just really getting her to open up and the Anub was a dark unit. She knew what it was like because she herself had done many missions that were like their's and had already declined the Third's offer to join them. But now it was like she was being forced like anything he made her do it was all by force. And she being the loyal shinobi she was just complied because that was her job. She couldn't refuse any orders. And in fact that's what scared Kakashi. He had also lived to only follow the rules and it got him no where and killed his father and two friends, although he was still going through some major stuff he had some what recovered he wasn't as bad as he had been since those days. It took him years to get to this point in his life. Kakashi looked at y/n. She was outside sitting on the grass writing something down in a scroll. Her faced all scrunched up, she always did it when she was thinking hard, Kakashi found the expression cute. Which brought him back to his major concern... she was just showing some healing what if bring her back made all the progress disappear and she remained a lifeless tool only used by the Hokage. He knew he had to take her back but he would never let anything bad happen to her. Not if he had any say in it.
