***NIGHT OF METEOR SIGHTING 3RD POV***

Kakashi heard a knocking on the door and got up fast. The door was open before Y/n could finishing knocking. She looked up in surprise when her hand met a chest instead of the hard door. She smiled at the adorable man before her. "Hey...y..y." She stuttered from Kakashi pulling her into a hug. She giggled hugging him back. He let her go than pulled them to the couch setting her stuff on the floor. She couldn't read the look on his face. And he cupped her cheeks with his hands making her blush and try to pull away.

"Are you okay? Where have you been? Your two days late. What happened." Y/n sighed than grabbed his hands moving them to speak. Once she was finished explaining what happened he sighed. "It really was a drag. But anyway's putting all that aside the meteor should be here soon lets go okay."

Y/n stated practically jumping from excitement. Yes she was excited to see the meteor, but she was also excited to tell Kakashi how she felt while also feeling extremely nauseous, nervous and just about ready to die too. She didn't know how to even start...but she'd wing it like always. Kakashi nodded than went to the kitchen to get a bag with some containers in them. "Did you pack food?" She asked curiously. He blushed than rubbed the back of his head. "Yeahhh... And a blanket... I know you probably haven't eaten in awhile and it's getting cold now that fall is practically here you know..."

Y/n couldn't hold back her big smile after hearing his sweet ...Kurenai might actually be right. Kakashi couldn't help but get lost in Y/n's smile..she was just so fucking beautiful he wanted to kiss her so bad. HOLD IT TOGETHER! He shouted to himself taking a deep breath. He decided earlier today that he needed to confess to her. Not knowing her feelings felt like torment anymore. And if she didn't feel the same way he'd back off. But he still wanted to be friends...even if it hurt. He had to know though. Because he wasn't going to be able to stop himself from kissing her for much longer. He was actually worried she'd miss their little rendezvous.

"Well isn't that just sweet." She winked at him while standing up and walking to the door. She faced the wall hoping her massive blush would die down. When the hell she did get the balls to wink at him... oh damn this was going to be a long night. Kakashi was froze there for a second. The image of her winking permanently burned it self in to his mind. He took a deep breath and cleared his head before heading towards the door after he locked it they made their way to the Hokage monument. Y/n had insisted they need to go there because of the higher altitude. He watched her happily as she prattled on about the incoming space rock thing. Sure he thought it was cool. But he only wanted to go because she did. He enjoyed partaking in her hobbies and trying to understand most of the stuff she told him. He asked her once why she liked the sky so much and she shrugged. It was just something she picked up thinking it was beautiful and interesting. Kakashi's only hobbies were reading and training mainly. Well and hanging out with Y/n if that even was a hobby. Maybe they could find one they both like together... After a very fast paced walk do to Y/n's impatience they were finally there. She was on the ground checking coordinates on her map, trying to get the telescope ready. And he was laying out the blanket and food. Once everything was settled she pulled out her notebook writing things down, checking her watch every so often. He chuckled while watching Y/n go into ultimate nerd mode. Once he was finished they waited for a little while both sitting on the blanket watching the sky. "Can I ask you a question?" Kakashi said. She nodded. "How are you doing? I know we can't talk about your long mission since it's classified...but I did see some pills on your counter the other day."

She sighed smacking herself mentally for not putting them away. "Right...well you know I'm dealing with it. I have been doing better with the uhm..med's.."

She responded a bit ashamed. Kakashi scooted a little closer to her wrapping his arm around her waist making her lean on his shoulder.

"Good. There's nothing wrong with meds. We both know you've been through a lot." You need someone like me to help you through all your shit is what he wanted to say but the words caught in his throat. He wanted to confess right now but figured it'd be best to wait until after the rock passed so he had her full attention. But soon enough a light just a little brighter than the stars moved across the sky slowly. Y/n separated from Kakashi going to her telescope and looking through it while jotting notes down. She was telling him how big it was and how fast it was moving through the sky. What coordinates it was taking all that good stuff. Y/n motioned for him to get up but he just hummed at her. She frustratedly got up and started towards him.

"Come on look it only lasts ten minutes." She said eagerly pulling at his arm. They both took turns watching until it faded from view and were now back on the blanket eating their food while Y/n talked more about the cool event. "You know this only happens every two hundred and fifty year's it a once in a lifetime event. And we were lucky enough to witness it!" She exclaimed while eating rice. He smiled noticing a pattern with her. "Why do you always eat plain rice when you get back from a long mission?" She smiled at him. The way the moon was hitting her eye's entranced the silver haired ninja. The urge to spill his guts to her was growing stronger by the minute. They were sitting beside each other with only inches beside them, normally they didn't sit this close but Kakashi needed the closeness as not to lose his never. "Why do you always wear that stupid mask." She retorted while putting more food in her mouth. He laughed. She was the most unladylike girl he had ever met and Kakashi loved it so much. She wasn't afraid to be herself around him...and that made him feel a bit guilty. They've know each other for almost four years. He loved her for fucks sake. But she still hadn't seen his face. It was time to change that but it made him nervous just thinking about it.

"It's not fair you know." Y/n's velvety voice pulled him back to her. "What's not fair?" "Really." She asked sarcastically turning to face him. He looked down to her adorable pout and gorgeous blue orbs. "You know what I look like Kakashi..we've been through a lot together...we're...best...friends."

She found it very hard to say friends knowing she wanted more. "I've never seen what you look like. It's unfair." She huffed turning away from him. He gave her a tender smile than crawled in front of her. She lowered her head to the ground not wanting to make eye contact. Kakashi shook his head but smiled while holding her hands.

"Why do you wanna see my face?" He asked his heart started to race waiting for her answer. She looked up at him with a serene expression. Than a small smile formed on her lips. "Because. We're close. Closer than everyone. But you keep me locked out like everyone else when it comes personal things. It just kind of makes you feel distant. Like there's a galaxy between us..."

Y/n trailed off unsure of how to voice what she felt. But Kakashi just smiled at her than let one of her hands go lifting his own slowly to his mask. He wasn't going to lie. He was about to shit himself. What if she didn't like what she saw. What if his face wasn't what she imagined.

"What if you don't like what you see?" She gave him a 'really' look. He swallowed than slowly pulled it down closing his eye not wanting to see her expression. At that moment his mind went blank but his heart felt like it would jump out of his chest at any moment. "Can..I touch you." He heard her almost silent whisper and nodded.

Her hands were rough but comforting and cold as always. But he couldn't focus on that because as soon as she touched his face it lit up like a fire. He refused to look at her afraid of what she thought. However Y/n was absolutely mesmerized by the silver haired mans beauty. He had a nice jaw line and a sexy beauty mark under the left side of his lip . She very lightly ran her hands over his skin feeling how soft it was. His cheeks continued to turn redder but Y/n had no room to talk because she was just as red. His eye was closed and it kind of made her happy. She wasn't sure if having him watch her touch his face was something she could handle. He felt her thumb rub over the bottom of his scar and it made him shiver, she stopped moving her hands when he slightly opened his eye. She was just a few inches from his face on her knees leaning forward. Her breath caught in her lungs when their eye's met. He noticed how red her face was. She bite her lip catching his attention he leaned forward slightly.

Y/n froze as Kakashi was slowly closing the distance between them and closed his eye right before his warm lips grazed her cold ones. She didn't move for a second trying to understand what was happening her head was getting a bit fuzzy. But eventually she melted into him as he pulled her on his lap closing the distance. It wasn't a long kiss but it took her breath away as he broke it. He looked down at her tenderly. Than kissed her forehead before placing his against hers. "Y/n I like you... a lot.. if you haven't noticed. I have for awhile now..." He trailed off. Waiting for her answer. She touched his cheek causing him to look at her as she smiled sweetly. God he could melt right now. "I..I..like..y..you too." She stammered still completely blown away by the unexpected kiss. She said she was going to wing it but never expected this. Although she couldn't be happier and terrified all at the same time. Being in a relationship was new...Y/n didn't want to fuck anything up with Kakashi. He flashed a smile causing her to melt. Damn he has the most gorgeous smile she had ever seen Y/n thought. He leaned closer to her again. "Can I kiss you?" He asked his breath hitting her face causing her mind to go blank. She nodded and he closed the distance. Kakashi knew she didn't have any experience and was more than happy to show her how to deepen the kiss than pressed her closer placing his hand behind her head and running the tip of his tongue gently on her lip causing her to gasp and giving him the opening he needed. He gently explored her mouth with his tongue and allowed her to do the same. They only broke when the need for air hit them both panting lightly. Kakashi placed a peck on her lips before sliding her off his lap. He grabbed her hand and and kissed it making her blush more. He chuckled at her adorable reactions. She was perfect and a bit clueless. That was fine with him he liked being in charge and seeing the effect he had on Y/n he couldn't help but smile.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked hopeful. She smiled than crashed him in to a hug. "Of course dummy!" She replied laughing in his chest, he wrapped his arms around her pulling her tighter to him placing a kiss on her forehead. "Your mine now." He said running his hands through her hair as she nuzzled into his chest. "All yours." She giggled shivering slightly. She had her jacket on but it wasn't thick enough to fend off the cool September wind. Kakashi smiled at her standing. "Wanna go home?" He questioned. She nodded and they packed everything up heading home while holding hands.

***TIME SKIP 1 WEEK LATER Y/N POV***

"Ow Y/n sensei that hurt!" Naruto wined after I hit him in the head with a scroll. I was trying to teach him how to control the Rasengan but the poor kid just wasn't getting it. "You can study that scroll for the rest of the day Naruto. I can tell you didn't do your home work. Alright Sauske your up."

I was working on the Sharingan with him. "Do you think I'll develop a kekkei genkai?" The black haired shinobi asked...hmm.. it was possible. But hell I didn't know. "Hell if I know kid but there's a good chance. I stumbled upon mine on accident honestly." I couldn't even explain to Kakashi how it happened it just did. Speaking of that mother fucker he's late. I rolled my eye's he was always late unless I spent the night with him. Which I didn't do because I needed a fresh change of clothes. And he pouted like a baby. Was this his punishment? Making her deal with the kids alone. I grumbled irritated at the aloof ninja. They really needed to train hard the chunin exams were coming up and the whole team needed to get their shit together. They'd been there all morning and the kids were taking a much needed break. I had kicked their butts pretty good and needed a cigarette. So here I was watching the sky it was pretty chilly considering it was close to the end of September and summer was long gone. I closed my eye's and before long a shadow fell on my face causing me to open them and there he was book in hand. I jumped up and grabbed his jacket.

"Where the hell have you been Hatake! I've been here all morning doing your job!" He laughed at me than placed a masked kiss on my forehead. Oh no that was not going to work. I placed my hands on my hips glaring at him. He knew I would train the kids hard wether he was there or not. But that was no excuse, just because we were dating didn't mean he could just do whatever and get away with it. He cocked his brow. "Fifty laps around the field." This punishment was what I usually used on the kids when they were being brats. He chuckled. I took a step closer glaring him down.

"I'm serious." I said folding my arms over my chest. "Wait really? Ahh babe no please don't make me." He begged. She knew he'd stayed up too late reading the new book Jiraiya sent him even though he promised her he wouldn't.

"So Kakashi why you so late hun?" I asked already knowing the answer. He started to sweat drop rubbing the back of his head nervously.

"Well...you see I ...may...have stayed up too late reading." He confessed. I huffed at him than took the last drag of my cigarette and put it out.

"Alright big boy since you haven't done anything today we're going to train together." I stated. He got a bit excited cute I snickered. "Really? What do you want to do?"

I smiled at him while I walked over and booped his nose. "We're going to have a race." I looked at him and winked. He was starting to get flustered and I enjoyed my affect on him. Normally I couldn't do this kind of stuff without getting embarrassed. But I needed to rope him in before laid my gavel down

"What kind of race?" He asked seductively. I smiled at him than put my hands on his cheeks. "Who can run fifty laps the fastest." I said deadpanning right in his face. I saw the hope in his eye shatter as he sighed. "Uggghhh. Fine lets get this over with." I had the kids say go and they cheered for us as we ran around the large field. Of course I won and took a much needed break under a shady tree while Kakashi willing took his teaching duties back. I pulled out some scrolls trying to find some new techniques for the team. A hand on my shoulder caused me to look up squinting from the sun. Kakashi sat beside me and took the scrolls out of my hands. "Hey give those back!"

I yelled to the worried looking ninja. Wait..why was he worried did something happen? "Kakashi what's wrong?" "Really? Babe you've been sitting in that spot staring at those scrolls for three hours. It's lunch time. Come on you need a break." He said handing me a box of food. We ate in silence for a moment. He watched me curiously. "What's up short stack? You've been acting a bit off today.."

I felt bad for my boyfriend...in all honesty I was worried about the chunin exams I kept getting a bad feeling about them...I had a mission four days before they started but I was supposed to be back the day of the event...however, my missions always seemed to run over. I couldn't hep but watch Kakashi with a concerned look and hope nothing bad happened to him.

"Sweetie you're starting to worry me." He came closer and put my head on his lap stroking my hair I could've purred. I looked up at him and he still had the same worried expression on his face. He rubbed the scar on my lip. "Did you get mad when I cut your lip?"

We hadn't talked about the fight much. But I figured over time it would get slowly discussed. "Eh. Not really it's a victory scar from the battle I won."
I said smiling at him he chuckled lightly continuing to run his fingers through my hair gently. "You definitely won. More things than you think."

I sat up a bit confused. Plus the need for a cigarette was nagging at me. After it was lit I finally asked my much needed question. "What do you mean by that?"

He smiled but it wasn't really at me. It was more like he was smiling at a memory. "Hmmm..let me see I'd have to go a bit far back to explain it. But first answer my question." I sighed knowing he wasn't going to let me dodge the question.

"You know the chunin exams are in a few weeks right?" He nodded yes. "I can't really say why but I have a bad feeling about them..."

He looked a bit confused. "I mean I know they're important Y/n but if the team fails they'll just have to retake them again it's not really that big of a deal.."

I shook my head no at his misunderstanding. "No it's not that. I just have this feeling something bad going to go down that day and I'm just a bit worried is all..."

I stopped wishing the sinking feeling in my chest would go away. "You know I have a mission but I'm supposed to be back before anything starts I'm always late. What if something happens to you Or.." I glanced at the kids who were for once not arguing and instead laughing. I felt arms wrap around my waist and than Kakashi's chest was on my back. He placed a kiss on my head. "Nothing will happen. We'll be fine. I promise." He squeezed me a little tighter. His word's didn't convince me. The rest of the day went as normal. We trained the kids till they were beat than started walking in town.

***3RD POV***

Kakashi couldn't help but think about his girlfriends words. He'd worked with her long enough to know when she says she has a bad feeling something always goes wrong. She'd been walking beside him with a vacant expression for awhile, whatever was going to happen really bothered her. But as much as he believed her words the exams were still about three weeks away he had time to think about it later right now his priority was the very distracted white haired beauty beside him. A devilish smiled crossed his lips as they passed an alleyway to Y/n's left. Kakashi stopped than picked Y/n up throwing her over his right shoulder. She squealed loudly but had no time to react because she was now flying through the alleyways at an alarming speed. He looked to his right at her round ass and couldn't help himself. He gave it a good smack causing her to hit his back with her fists. "If you don't drop me Hatake I will beat your ass right here!" He laughed. Once he found a spot that was secluded, he stopped putting his fuming girlfriend down. She was getting ready to yell at him when he pressed her against the alley wall crushing his unmasked lips to hers. She was surprised but answered his kiss immediately. He pulled her closer to him than lifted her up. She secured her legs around his hips and wrapped her arms around his neck running her fingers through his hair. His kisses started to trail down her neck causing a small moan to escape her lips. Kakashi shivered from the sound and nipped her gently causing it again. He moved back her lips running his tongue along her mouth she answered with parted lips and they battled with their tongues in the end the fight was easily forgotten once they started to get heated. A familiar growing sensation was taking over Kakashi as he began sucking on Y/n's collar bone another light moan escaped her lips. It was putting him on edge and he wanted more. She pulled his face back her's kissing him with lust. They pulled away after their lungs started to burn both lightly panting when Kakashi reluctantly put her down. He had to back away slightly for some air as he tired to clear his head. They'd only been dating a week and the urge to completely ravish her. Claim her as his own. To feel every nook and cranny of her naked skin against his was becoming unbearable. He knew they needed to take things a little slow. This was serious. He didn't just like this confused blue eye'd woman in front of him. He loved her...more than anything. He wanted to do things properly and treat her right. Their make out sessions were starting to get a bit extreme and it didn't help that Y/n was practically defenseless against him. He took a few deep breaths to calm down. He wanted their first time to special. An alley way was not in the picture. He had time. All the time in the world with her. He would kiss every bad memory, caress every scar, light every dark corner she had. Release her from the heavy burdens she carried. He would smash down her doors, tear through her walls. Bust down every stairway. Rip her completely apart go through the pain with her. Than rebuild her from the inside out together leaving some pieces of him behind to mend her wounds. He wasn't sure what love truly was until the first time he saw her after she returned. The joy he felt when he knew she was alive. The pain for hurting her so deeply, the regret for losing so much time with her. And than the strongest of all. Electricity. When her pale blue orb's locked on him that night he fell deep into her pool's willingly drowning in their clear beauty. The buzzing current between them made Kakashi want to touch her, hold her, kiss every inch of her pale skin. God he loved her and with that in mind. The first time they made love would be special for them both especially her and required a lot of thought. He had time.

Y/n watched Kakashi deep in thought curiously wondering what wheels were turning in that amazing brain of his. He always stopped when things were getting good. But she appreciated it. Yes sex was definitely on her mind.. especially lately. But going all the way...well it frightened her a bit. She knew Kakashi had slept with a few people and that was fine. He had experience. She had nothing absolutely nothing, yes her books talked about things but they didn't prepare her for real life . What if she was really bad at it. Or maybe he wouldn't like what he saw when she was naked. There were some really bad scars on her. The one Kakashi gave her was tiny compared to the ones on her stomach and back. Every time she thought about them being intimate the only thing that flooded Y/n's mind were the damn scars she could never be rid of. It made her really self-conscious...and than again the no experience thing made her feel even worse. She didn't want Kakashi to do everything...she wanted to pleasure him too. She'd been reading more of the Icha books but once her imagination started replacing the main character with Kakashi she had to throw it down. Kakashi pulled the conflicted girl from her thoughts with a tender kiss before grabbing her hand leading them from the alley. Neither one of them knew what to make for dinner so they ended up at Ichiraku's. They had planned on take out. Now neither Y/n or Kakashi had told their friends they were dating yet. It was still new for them so they wanted time to adjust to each other before letting everyone else in. This task was easily done. Considering Kakashi and Y/n both followed each other around wherever they went however the hand holding was not something they usually did and when Guy spotted them and waved the couple instantly separated blushing.

"Hello my youthful friends! Funny seeing you here!" Y/n was so flustered all she could do was stare at the floor blood red. "We eat here all the time it's not like it's a coincidence Guy." Kakashi exclaimed annoyed that of all people it had to be Guy at least he didn't notice their hands. Kakashi didn't care if people knew they were dating in fact he wanted everyone to know she was his woman now. But Y/n was still pretty overwhelmed by all of it hence her previous state. He wanted to reassure her it was alright but didn't know how to without touching her. Touch was definitely his love language. He hadn't figured her's out yet, he glanced down to the girl who held his heart, but he would find out.

"Are you alright Y/n? You're awful quite! Want to have dinner together? We can have an eating contest Kakashi!" Guy shouted. Y/n looked at Kakashi wondering what he would say. He sighed. "We'll eat with you but I decline your challenge. It's been a long day and I'm tired." Guy complained the whole time they ate trying to get Kakashi to challenge him and the pair argued like a bunch of little kids. God I thought we were done dealing with kids today... Y/n thought becoming more agitated by the second until a headache started to form. She stood up abruptly causing both the whining ninjas to shut up. "I'm going to smoke." The white haired girl stated with unreadable emotion. She went outside after slamming money on the counter walking to her house. Why couldn't Kakashi just agree to the stupid challenge he knew how Guy was. And they argued the whole meal...she whipped out a cigarette puffing on it quicker than normal. She was almost home and Kakashi hadn't found her yet. To be fair she was seeing her chakra so It wouldn't look like she was heading this way, he'd end up looking else where for awhile before stopping here. Y/n needed a small break from him and a shower. She unlocked the door locking it straight back than walked to her bathroom starting the shower. She filled a glass with water than popped some of her pills hoping it would help calm her down. Y/n jumped in the shower relishing the hot water stinging her skin. Her eucalyptus shampoo always made her feel better. After she finished her normal shower routine and gotten dressed a knock sounded at the door. Y/n smiled ...about time. She made her way to the balcony and pulled out a cigarette sitting in one of the outdoor chairs before yelling to who she presumed was Kakashi. "I'm on the balcony." She shouted making her head throb in the process. She hear a grunt than seen the shadow of a person on her roof and that person would be the silver haired shinobi who was responsible for her headache. She watched him climb to her balcony with a bored stare. He turned around to face her than pulled down his mask. "I'm sorry babe...". Was all he said before sitting next to her. She sighed no she wasn't mad at Kakashi anymore and his adorable pout made it hard to keep stern. "I know." She said puffing on her cigarette. "I know his challenges are a pain but he's persistent you know that. He looks up to you." The tired shinobi exclaimed while getting up. She held out a hand for Kakashi who gladly accepted. The couple ended up on her couch cuddling. He was caressing her back. On occasion she'd giggle and he'd make a mental note for later. "Y/n?" Kakashi asked interrupting the silence. "Yes?" He swallowed not wanting his question to come out wrong. "Do you..uhm..like keeping us a secret?" The white haired girl shifted to look at her boyfriend. She didn't want to keep them secret...but she didn't wanna deal with all questions and comments on their relationship. They discussed how to deal with it and both agreed to keep it quite for now. But Y/n knew Kakashi didn't want that. It'd been a week. But all this sneaking around made her paranoid too.. "No. I hate it actually." She responded honestly. It was probably time to let everyone know what was going. "I think it's time to tell everyone what's going on. Don't you?" Her reply was a kiss as he pulled her into a tighter embrace.
"I don't like hiding it makes me feel like were doing something wrong.." Kakashi nodded while caressing her back causing Y/n to fall asleep in his arms and he happily joined her.
