This is something that's just been kinda running through my head don't know where it's going to go but here it is.

Bo's POV

"Bobo let's go get our drink on!" Kenzi yelled as we walked down the street. I rolled my eyes at her and continued walking down the road with my best friend. "You need to let lose Bo, you haven't had any fun in a long time," she looked at me and genuinely seemed like she thought I need to have some fun.

Fun. Ha, can't remember the last time I felt like I could relax and let go.

My name is Bo Dennis and I am part of a race called the Fae. More specifically I am a Succubus. I feed off of sexual energy or chi as my grandfather puts it. I know I am appealing to practically anyone who is even remotely interested in women. I don't want to be this way though; I grew up thinking I was a human and then when I turned 18 I decided to have sex with my childhood sweetheart Kyle. And then I killed him. I really didn't mean to but apparently at 18 is when a Fae's powers come into effect and that was the first night, I fed from someone. Ever since that night I spent my time running from anything that resembled a home. Until I met Kenzi.

Long story short we bought a run down home in a shady part of town that we lovingly call the crack shack. It's the closest thing to a home I have ever had. Since moving to Toronto I discovered family and friends and have finally started to settle down and make a home for myself. If only I could control myself better then I would be all set.

"We made it to the Dal Bobo, let's go see the Trickster and see if he will give us some drinks for free, " Kenzi said this all with a devilish grin on her face. I stopped before we walked into the bar.

That aura.

It's blinding me. I have never seen an aura quite like the one that is practically radiating from the inside of the bar. I ignored Kenzi and went straight into the bar. I need to see who that aura belongs to. It's like it was calling out for me. "Whoa, Bo your eyes went all blue succuslut color." Kenzi looked at me in concern. I looked around the bar and then my eyes zeroed in on who the blindingly beautiful aura belonged to.

"Who is that?" I breathed as I stared at her.

Her is a tall blonde woman. I could only see the side of her face and she was talking to another blonde woman. She had a beautiful smile, and her brown eyes were a different shade then my own. My eyes are normally brown unless my Succubus is close to coming out. In that situation my eyes are a bright electric blue. The tall, beautiful blonde with the blinding aura stood up and followed the other blonde to where some people were dancing and started to dance with this other woman.

The other blonde was very obviously staring at the beautiful one. I need to find out her name. I slowed walked over to the bar and got a shot from the bartender Trick had hired to help out. Trick is my grandfather and the owner of the bar. Kenzi had gotten distracted by our friend Hale who was now setting up a pool table to play a game with her. If Hale is here that means Dyson must be around.

Dyson is my ex. He's a wolf and overall not a bad guy but he has a way about him where he doesn't care for humans and doesn't see them as important like I do. I could tell the beautiful blonde woman was a human. That didn't matter though I needed to know who she is.

As I walked towards her the other blonde saw me and her eyes narrowed as I got closer.

"Hello there," I said calmly as I got close enough for the beautiful blonde to hear me.

Lauren's POV

"Hello there," I heard a voice say behind me. I turned around and almost gasped. The most beautiful woman I have ever seen stood before me. She has warm milk chocolate colored eyes. Her eyes seem to sparkle with flecks of blue in them. She had long brown hair that was tied into a high ponytail and a tight black leather jacket. Actually she was wearing all black including a black shirt and black jeans.

"Hi," I said very quickly. Tamsin stared daggers at the brown eyed woman. "My name's Bo, I couldn't help but notice you when I walked in… could I buy you a drink?" She looked a little nervous as her eyes shifted between Tamsin and I. "I'm Lauren, and yes you certainly can buy me a drink," I told her and heard Tamsin snort. I elbowed her in the ribs and I caught Bo trying to hide a smirk. I felt this strange pull towards Bo. Something about her intrigued me other than that she is drop dead gorgeous.

"Bo, hey," I heard a mans voice say and I turned around to see Dyson Thornwood walking towards us. I heard Bo groan as he got closer to the three of us. Tamsin suddenly had a huge grin on her face. "Look it's your boyfriend Succubus," she stated and looked at me. I felt a bit of disappoint as I looked at Bo.

She's a Succubus. I wonder… is she the unaligned one? I've heard the Ash and many other Fae elders talk about the unaligned Succubus who chose humans instead of choosing a side of the Fae to align with. Bo glared at Dyson as he reached us. "Hey, I've been looking for you, Kenzi said that you might need to let off a little steam," he grinned as his eyes roamed over Bo, he didn't even try to hide that he was blatantly checking her out. "I am actually busy, I was going to buy Lauren here a drink," she said coolly while looking at him.

Tamsin reached for my arm and pulled me back a bit. "Come on Doc, let's go to the bar and let the lovely couple talk," she pulled me away and I let her. Bo opened her mouth to say something but Tamsin pulled me away too quickly.

"Is that her? The unaligned Succubus that everyone has been talking about the last few months?" I asked in wonder as we sat at the bar. Tamsin nodded. "Yup that's the one, seems like she had her eye on you. Be careful Lauren she is dangerous." Tamsin stared at me and looked dead serious.

Tamsin is my best friend. Although she is Fae she doesn't treat me any different than she does anyone else. We actually used to be friends with benefits until I realized I didn't want to just sleep with someone. I wanted a real relationship. I am a doctor with the Light Fae. I work for them studying the science in how Fae genetics work and occasionally have to patch up a Light Fae that gets hurt.

I am owned by the Light Fae. Humans don't get to just run around in the Fae world without having an owner so to speak. Mine is the Ash of the Light Fae. Tamsin is part of the Dark Fae but that hasn't stopped us from being friends. I looked up and caught Bo's eye as she looked over Dyson's shoulder at me. I felt myself blush and looked down. The way she was staring at me. Tamsin started going on about her job as a police officer and I tuned her out.

I noticed a tiny black haired gothic looking girl run up to Bo and put her hand on Bo's shoulder. I saw Bo's eyes turned blue briefly and it made me curious. I had never examined a Succubus before. I find them interesting, the way that they feed. They heal at an accelerated rate as well when they get to feed. Bo started walking away from Dyson and over to the bar where Tamsin and I sat.

Tamsin stood up and got infront of me before Bo got close. "Go away Succubus, she doesn't need to deal with the drama of having you in her life," Tamsin spat at Bo. Who paused and looked between the two of us. "Are you two a couple?" She asked curiously. I shook my head at that. "No, she's my best friend," I told her, and I swear I saw a brief look of relief cross her face. "So, in that case, Tamsin you don't need to speak for her if she's not your girlfriend. So, Lauren, would you like that drink now?" Bo asked and shot Tamsin a glare.
