Summary: Herb moves to Springfield after being poor for four months, and soon meets Lurleen.

Note 2: This will be from Lurleen's POV.

Chapter 1: Meeting my new manager
I have been out of work for months, because my previous manager dropped me for some new guy, Don Freddie. I am currently walking through downtown, when a man bumps into me. He's wearing a blue suit, but then I notice that he looks like Homer. He stands up and helps me up, he says kindly, "I'm very sorry, ma'm, I was busy thinking. Are you alright? You're not hurt, right?"
I smile and tell him that I'm alright, and then I ask if he was Homer, to which he replies with, "No, I'm not him."
He then kindly asks what Homer I'm referring to, I tell him that I'm talking about Homer Simpson. He smiles and says calmly, "That's my half-brother. I'm Herbert Powell."
He asks how I know Homer, and I tell him that Homer was my former manager. He asks, "Did he fail at being your manager?"
I reply with a no, asking why he asked this, suddenly we hear a phone ring, and Herbert lets me know that it's his phone. He pulls out an older looking phone and begins talking on it.
After five minutes he hangs up, looks at me and asks, "Do you need a new manager? Also what's your name?" I smile and reply with, "Oh sorry, I'm Lurleen Lumpkin. A former country star. And to answer our first question, yes I need a new manager."
I then ask him if he was asking because he wants to be my manager, he nods, "Yes, that's it." I smile and tell him that that would be great.
