Wish Upon A Shooting Star-Ch 2
A little while later Reid glanced over to his partner and grinned, it was obvious that Derek was deep in thought and about what he had no doubt, it had to be the beautiful blonde that they had met a earlier, Penelope Garcia. Reid cleared his throat and said, "she's beautiful isn't she?", Derek said, "huh, who is pretty boy?", the younger agent laughed and said, "the woman that is filling your thoughts right now of course, Penelope".
Derek grinned at him and said, "how did you know?" and before he could finish his sentence Reid said, "profiler remember and trust me Morgan I know what love looks like and right now I'm looking at a man that is in love". Derek said, "love, I just met her", Reid sighed and shook his head and said, "ohhh so I'm wrong, their is no conncetion, you don't feel a bond between the two of you then?", Derek said, "wellllllll" causing the younger agent to laugh and say, "I knew it".
Meanwhile at her apartment Penelope was deep in thought about the agents that were at her door earlier in the morning, one to be more precise, the dark skinned adonis Derek Morgan, she sighed and said, "I wonder what he's doing right now, is he thinking of me the way that I'm thinking of him, she then shook her head and said, "of course he's not, why would a handsome man like that be thinking of a fat geeky nerd like me".
As she sat down at her computer she blew out a deep breath and said, "nowwwww let's see what I can find out about the kidnappings that they were talking about" as she let her fingers fly across her keyboard. Penelope Grace Garcia is no stranger to a computer, far from it, she's one of the best hackers in the world and if their was anything out there she'd find it, she'd help track down the sickko that was kidnapping women and when she did she'd let the agents know and who knew that maybe just maybe she'd meet the handsome God that she'd met earlier, her Derek.
Around 2:30 Derek and Reid met up with the rest of the team at a little diner on the other side of town, they were catching up to see if anything new had been discovered and sadly their hadn't been and after hearing that news Derek slipped back into his thoughts of Penelope. Emily elbowed JJ and then nodded her head in Derek's direction causing JJ to look at her friend, she said, "what's wrong with Derek today, he seems to be out of sorts?", Reid laughed and said, "oh Morgan, well he's in love".
Dave said, "love, welllllll who is the woman he's in love with and why haven't I or your mother heard about her?", Derek said, "what was that?" as he looked up to see all of his team staring at him. Reid said, "they were asking about Penelope", Derek smiled and said, "she's something isn't she, I wonder what she's doing right now?", Emily said, "Penelope, I don't rememer you telling us anything about a Penelope", she looked at JJ and said, "do you Jayje?" to which JJ shook her head no.
Reid said, "ohhh that's because he only met her today", Derek sat back in his seat and grinned as Reid told the others about their time with the beautiful blonde and when he was through JJ said, "wowwwwww, so it was like love at first sight, niceeeeee Derek". Emily said, "soooo are ya gonna ask her out?", Derek said, "uhhhh Em, we're in the middle of a kidnapping investigation", Dave said, "true but what about after the investigation is over, are you gonna look her up again and see if the sparks are still there?", Derek opened his mouth to tell them yes but was stopped when Hotch's cell phone started ringing.
The team watched as Hotch pulled his cell from his belt and said, "Hotchner", they could tell by the look on his face that it wasn't good news and when the call was over he looked up at them and said, "their has been another kidnapping, a woman named Tabitha Green, we need to get to 1142 Ashbury Street", Reid said, "wait that's on Penelope's street" causing Derek to inwardly smile, why yes yes it was and who knows just maybe he'll get to see her again" as he stood up and followed the others out of the deli and out onto the street to their waiting SUV's.
