The Aftermath on Tracy Island
Shane Tracy woke with a start, "Kallen!" he shouted. "You Mysty Prick! What the hell do you think you're doing, Asshole?"
"Shane!" a startled Piper Harriet Talyor Tracy exclaimed. "Kallen has been dead for years!"
Shane looked at his mother startled, What was she doing here? Wait, I'm back home on the Island? But wasn't I…? Where was I before…? "Mom?" he asked confused. "What's going on?"

Alan Tracy looked at his wife Kayo and his brother John after reading the report that had come back from Shane's Mysteron detector.
Shane had been returned to Simon and Sophia, who Alan strongly suspected was only there to see Turquoise, at the Creighton-Ward manor, very dopey and with no memory of the past 48 hours. Spectrum's explanation was that Shane had a very negative reaction to the loss of his team, and that they had to keep him sedated for Shane's own safety.
But Shane's bio information that was recorded by the Mysteron detector told a different story, one that suggested that Shane was fully aware about what was going around him through most of his stay on Skybase. Oh, Spectrum did try and cover up their action's by hacking the detector, how they managed to do that was a concern, but whoever the hacker was, he/she missed the hidden backup system that was placed into Shane's detector because his employers didn't allow him to have a 24/7 link with Thunderbird 5.
But Shane's incorrect bio information was not Alan's biggest concern, Spectrum had not physically hurt Shay after all, it was what else the Mysteron detector picked up.
Spectrum was compromised – and there were at least two of them maybe three.
"What are we going to do?" Alan asked. "We rely on Spectrum to keep the world safe from the Mysterons and there is at least two of them running around Skybase."
"And Shane can't give us any clues on who they are," Kayo growled. "Because they screwed with his memory."
"Well, we know Lieutenants Turquoise and Amber are clean," John pointed out. "The manors defences would have gone crazy if they were Mysteronized."
"But Amber isn't part of Turquoise's regular team," Kayo pointed out. "Captain Mahogany and Lieutenant Coral are the other two members of his regular team."
"Come to think of it, and I will have to ask the kids to be sure, I don't think Mahogany and Coral have ever stepped foot in any of the Thunderbirds," Alan said, thoughtfully, as he pressed a button on what was his father's desk, now his desk since he oversaw International Rescue, to call all available IR personnel to the living room. "They always seem to work just beyond the range of the Mysteron defences."
"Mahogany does not even communicate with us directly," John added. "It's always through Coral or Turquoise."
"That's not necessarily true," Kesha Lucille Tracy Hackenbacker, current pilot of Thunderbird 3, Alan's daughter, Kallen's five minutes older twin sister, cut in as she walked into the room. "He does send text messages on the private communicator occasionally."
Alan frowned, he never liked that communicator that Turquoise had given Phia, and considering the new revelations about Spectrum, it was a security risk having it, "Keys, I'm going to need that communicator," he told his daughter, as the rest of the adult family, bar Kevin Tracy who was watching the kids and Shane who was under medical observation in the infirmary, walked/comed into the room. "And any copies of it, you kids may have. Effective immediately, all communication with Spectrum and its personnel is going to be through official channels."
"What? Why?" Sophia demanded.
"We have the report back from Shane's Mysteron detector," John started. "To cut a long story short, we have reason to believe that Spectrum is compromised."
The room went quiet with shock.
"The detector picked up at least two Mysteron agents on Skybase." Kayo clarified.
"If that's the case, shouldn't we be warning them?" Sophia cried out. "Before the Mysterons do something?"
"And if we warn the wrong person?" John pointed out, "They could cut their losses and destroy Skybase on the way out."
"Well, we know Turquoise and Amber aren't Mysterons," Sophia pointed out. "We could tell one of them, surely."
"There's a problem with that, sis," Simon Parker Tracy, Sophia's twin brother and IR's current London Agent, cut in. "Amber isn't part of Turquoise's regular team, Turquoise may be clean – but what about Mahogany and Coral? How do we know if both are clean?"
"We could ask them to come to a meeting," Kesha suggested. Even though she hadn't met Coral and Mahogany in person, she had managed to develop an almost sisterly bond with the pair. "That way we could check them, and see if they are clean, and let them know of our suspicions at the same time."
"But doing that could tip them off that we suspect something," Aaron John Tracy, one of Alan's younger sons and the current pilot of Thunderbird Shadow, pointed out. "And what if one of them is a Mysteron? Considering you, Phia and Frey are the one's that actually talk to these people outside of official business, could any of you pull the trigger if it came to it?"
Kesha and Sophia looked at Aaron as if they were about to hit him, "That's enough," Scout Harriet Tracy, Scott's daughter, pilot of Thunderbird One and current field commander of IR, cut in before her cousins could do anything. "Stand down Three and Four, you have made your point and you two are too close to the situation to make a clear decision on the matter."
Alan decided to take charge of the meeting, "And we need more information before we can confront Spectrum with this information," he said, as he looked at Lady Penelope and Simon. "Penny, Si, I need you to quietly Mysteron check as many Spectrum personnel as you can in your travels, priority goes to any Skybase personnel you come across, we need to know if Colonel Blue at the very least is clean."
"F.A.B." Lady Penelope and Simon acknowledged.
"As for the rest of us," Alan began. "Until we can pinpoint who the Mysteron agents in Spectrum are, and they have been neutralized, we must proceed with caution in our dealings with Spectrum," he sighed. "All communication, between us and them will be official business only, and will be monitored, and none of their personnel will be allowed to step foot on our ships."
"And if they start to wonder why we are giving them cold shoulder?" Sophia snarked. "Wouldn't that tip them off that we suspect something?"
"We can use the fact that they messed with Shane's memory's," Piper Taylor Tracy, Scott's widow, Scout and Shane's mother, answered. "When he woke up, after whatever drugs they gave him wore off, he was cursing Kallen out something fierce, as if he had just had a fight with him," she shuddered. "Will and I had to remind him that Kallen was dead."
Alan and Kayo paled, "He forgot Kallen died?" Kayo hissed.
"Apparently," Willow replied. "He had sworn that he had just spoke to him, but he seamed confused as he said it."
The room was quiet for a couple of minutes when Geoffrey spoke up, "Maybe Shane did see Kallen," he said, quietly. "His team was ambushed by Mysteron's weren't they? Maybe Kallen was one of them, we know he was Mysteronised."
"Except for the fact that Shadow's Mysteron defences killed him," Briar Alan Tracy, John's son, snapped back over the coms, as he was on Thunderbird 5. "Mysterons disintegrate when they die and Spectrum didn't find a body."
"Maybe Spectrum lied," Geoffrey shot back. "We just got proof they are compromised."
"Then why aren't we dead?" Briar fired back. "Kallen knew our security inside and out, if the Mysteron was still alive we would be in a lot of trouble even with the extra help Spectrum has given us since then."
"ENOUGH!" Alan roared at his nephew's, before moving to comfort his distressed wife. The idea that Mysterons were still using his lost son as a meat puppet was not one he wanted to think about.
John took over the meeting after that, Alan was ashamed to admit he didn't remember a lot of it, too lost in the memory of what had happened to his son. Losing him was a massive blow to the family and International Rescue.
Alan didn't realize the meeting was over until he looked and saw that only his brothers and their wife's where still left in the room.
"I'm going to try and get to the bottom on what's going on which Shay's memory," Annabelle O'Locklyn Tracy, John's wife, was telling Piper and Will. "It might be best for him if he stays on the Island for a while, at least until he stops hallucinating about Kallen."
"Shay is not going to like that," Piper replied sadly. "He doesn't like being here for whatever reason."
"Well tough," Alan grumbled. "I'm not about to risk the GDF sending that boy back out into another Mysteron trap, not without a permanent link to Five, he knows too much about Tracy Island and it's personnel." He sighed. "If he wants something to do in the meantime, he can work with his cousins on improving the defences around here. Starting with the self-defence of personnel."

Shane stared at the ceiling of the infirmary, Kevin had filled him in on the event's of the meeting and the news that his mother and Uncle were going to keep him on the Island until his personnel security was improved.
And he stopped hallucinating about Kallen.
He was going to punch – not shoot, he didn't fancy Kal putting a bullet in his arse - Kal's Mysty lights out the next time he saw him… Because he knew that arsehole had something do with this.
If he could only remember how Kallen did it.
Notes: There is lot to say here so I'm going to start with this…
International Rescue in 2096
International Rescue has grown from the small one team and a couple of dozen agents it was in 2060, while the Thunderbirds are still the main face of the organisation, it has expanded to two more different departments – The Hatchling's and Medical Response.
International Rescue barely tolerates Spectrum, they know it was one trigger happy officer that started the war with the Mysterons, but IR also know they don't have the capability to defend themselves from a full scale attack, they put up with them.
Scott Tracy died in building collapse, in 2083, aged 49 it was a normal accident, Mysterons were NOT involved.
John and Alan took over the running of Tracy Industries and International Rescue not long after.
Jeff Tracy died in 2088, aged 84. Scott's death hit him hard.
Kallen Tracy 'died' in 2089, aged 23.
