Kallen Grant Tracy was dead…

At least on what passed for paper these days anyway.

The reality was something very different, and it had only happened once before.

At least Paul was already part of Spectrum when he was Mysteronised and then broke free of the of their control, White didn't really have to cover up that much in regards to his condition.

Colonel Blue sighed, Kallen Tracy was a different kettle of fish altogether, not only was he the, now former, head of the Thunderbirds security, International Rescue would not be happy that Spectrum had one their own in their custody, and would most likely move heaven and earth to get him back, regardless of the risk to themselves.

And Tracy knew this, he also knew that only reason why the Mysterons attacked him was because they wanted an inside assassin to take out International Rescue and the Tracy Family.

No wonder the boy was so desperate to die when he first arrived at Skybase, this kid was so protective of his family, he was willing to kill himself to protect them from whatever threat he posed to them.

It was for that reason Blue and Scarlet began to suspect that the boy may have had broken free of the Mysterons control… But the thing that convinced them was Cadet Coral's reaction to Kallen.

While Paul's ability to spot Mysterons in a crowd was spotty at best, Clara always found them, and she could apparently sense the difference between a controlled and a free Mysteron - she said Tracy felt like her father, not like Black or the many others that had had tried to kidnap or kill her over the years.

If there was one thing Blue learned from his predecessor it was when at war it was not smart to waste any potential resource in a fight, and this boy had Paul's abilities and Tracy smarts mixed in with International Rescue training, the kid was a potential asset that many organizations would kill for.

So Blue was going to take a risk, the same risk Colonel White had taken with Captain Scarlet…

He was going to offer the boy a job…
