"Mom, dad?" Subaru stared at the two dead bodies of his parents not understanding what happened.
His mother was beheaded, and his father had two massive holes in his chest.
"How? Why? Why did this happen?" Subaru cried out hoping what he saw was a dream.
Subaru's childhood wasn't exactly easy. As a child, Subaru was socially awkward and struggled to make friends. His parents, who were distant and preoccupied with their own lives, often criticized him for his lack of social skills and failed to provide him with the emotional support he needed.
But his parents we're the only two people that ever supported him. He was an outcast for a reason he was bitterly aware of.
"This is my fault, if I wasn't born with this power, they wouldn't have died…" Subaru mumbled feeling both rage, and vengeance.
"Partner…" Ddraig was stunned seeing such a gruesome sight, but he also didn't want Subaru too be overtaken by his negative emotions and end up dying using Juggernaut drive.
Who did this? Who the hell did this?
Subaru begin to hear a mocking laugh from behind him.
"Good I finally found you, I got so bored of waiting around in this dump I killed your pathetic parents. Anyways let's get this over with" The black-haired women said while forming two light Speers aiming them at Subaru.
Subaru had enough, his negative emotions couldn't stop what was yet too come. He heard a voice telling him a chant.
I don't care if I die, I will kill this pathetic bitch
"PARTNER STOP" Ddraig called out, but his voices weren't heard
"PARTNER SOMETHING IS COMING, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS PRESENSE IS BUT THIS POWER IS NOTHING I'VE FELT BEFORE" Ddraig continued too call out to Subaru but he heard nothing.
"I who shall awaken" Subaru mumbled as his aura suddenly sky-rocketed.
The black-haired women begin too walk backwards, feeling this power she begin to wonder how powerful this boy was.
"Am the Heavenly Dragon who has stolen the principles of domination from God." Subaru's voice begin too change, into something not human
"Who or what are you?" the black-haired women said in fear.
Subaru was about to continue his chant until he felt the presence Ddraig attempted to warn him of snapping him out of the state he was in.
"What is this?" Subaru said feeling something coming closer too him
"PARTNER GET OUT OF HERE" Ddraig yelled
Suddenly Subaru was engulfed in purple shadows, when he opened his eyes he was in a completely different world.
"What the-" Subaru was to shocked to even remember the vengeance he felt moments ago
"Ddraig what's going on?" Subaru asked
"I'm not sure, but I don't sense Great Red or Orphis. The only thing I can think of is that we're in another universe but I'm not entirely sure" Ddraig replied
Subaru thought about the prospect Ddraig mentioned. He did remember feeling some unfamiliar force coming, but to be sent too another universe?
"Well, you got any idea how we got here?"
Ddraig sighed, "No, honestly none of this makes any sense to me. I attempted to warn you while you we're entering juggernaut drive but you couldn't hear me. The presence that I felt was unfamiliar, not from our previous world. I have lived for thousands of years and wouldn't say that if I wasn't positive."
"Alright well what about my power? Am I weaker or stronger?" Subaru questioned
"Weaker, my guess is this world's laws are different compared to our own world's. In terms of magical power you have none, the boosted gear should work the same however" Ddraig stated
Subaru was filled with regrets, countless. He never got to avenge his parents or really do anything other then be hunted for a power that he never asked for. The only people that ever cared for him was his parents and Ddraig. But a new world may be better, maybe he won't be hunted for his boosted gear like his old world.
Subaru begin walking around the town, he could understand the language of the people but he didn't understand the writing. While walking a girl with blonde hair ran past him at speeds faster then most humans.
"What the?" Subaru questioned
Seconds later a women in white robes sending giant rods of ice in the direction of the girl, and himself.
"What the hell is happening?" Subaru questioned dodging the icicles shot at him.
Subaru looked to see the blonde girl dead. A icicle shot right through her heart as many of the people in the area begin too to run away.
"Pathetic, how pathetic. You really think a weakling like yourself could simply steal my insignia? You deserved what you got maybe if you we're stronger you would've lived"
The voice came from a silver-haired girl walking towards the dead body.
This woman seems sick. What should I do? I know nothing about this world yet so getting involved would probably not be the best idea.
The silver-haired girl walked right past Subaru with a floating cat beside her. Subaru simply watched both interested and disgusted by the girls' actions and words. Suddenly Subaru felt another presence quickly coming towards the girl.
"Lia looks out" A floating cat spoke but was too late, the black-haired women slashed through Emilia's stomach killing her.
"Who are you?" Subaru asked
Elsa looked at the boy's emerald eyes. She felt something strange from the boy, he was wearing clothing she never seen before, was not scared in the slightest of her actions but didn't even know her name.
"You seem strong" Elsa smiled licking her knife
Before Subaru could even respond Elsa already cut his stomach open. Subaru still wasn't even sure if the world he was in was real or not. He begin to bleed out but before he died, he saw a knight with red-hair strike Elsa causing a massive explosion.
This is it I guess?
Subaru opened his eyes. He was in the same place he was in when he first was sent to this world.
"What the hell is going on?"
"Partner, why did you not fight back? Also, you most definitely died just moments earlier. The fact you returned here is another unknown factor of this world" Ddraig said worried
Ddraig was a heavenly dragon, a being who lived for thousands of years and knew almost all there is of his world. Now he knew nothing. He wasn't exactly scared but he did not like the feeling of not knowing anything of the world he was in.
Subaru on the other hand was still processing the events that transpired.
Ok so a blonde-haired girl, a silver-haired girl and a black-haired girl. Wait and there was a man with red hair at the end. From what I could tell he was stronger than the black-haired one. Maybe I should try too find him.
"Ddraig do you remember that red-haired man we saw previously? Before I died it seemed he was overwhelming the black-haired women"
"Yes, I could sense an absurd amount of power within him. I'm still not sure what it is or where it stems from but I still seem to be able to sense power within this world" Ddraig replied
Subaru confirmed his suspension. So the best option would be to find him and explain the events that will transpire to stop the blonde-haired girl from dying. Subaru didn't empathize for the silver-haired one, but he did for the blonde.
Alright well I got an idea on how we can get some attention, easier to have him come to me then find him in this Kingdom I'm not familiar with
Subaru activated his boosted gear.
"Ddraig how long can I enter balance breaker?"
"I don't think you can in this world, not yet at least. You can try but if you can I would give a ten second limit at the most"
Ok, that's not good but may as well give it a shot.
Subaru begin focusing on his red gauntlet, for a few moments he begin to lose hope before hearing "BALANCE BREAK"
"Partner, five seconds"
Subaru panicked and decided too make the loudest noise he possibly could. He flew up into the air and crashed into a building.
Ok maybe not the smartest idea but this should work.
Unknowing to him, this was the location the silver-haired women was.
"What the-"the silver-hair girl saw what looked like some sort of red armor.
The guards in the area we're also lost at what they just witnessed. A red colored flying armored suit? Subaru then deactivated his balance breaker fatigued.
Well, now I'm with the wrong person. This women from the last loop seemed like a sick person. I was trying to save the blonde…
Shortly after a red-haired knight arrived at the scene. Subaru unknowingly crashed into one of the most important areas of the Capital. The Royal Castle.
Reinhard walked up to the black-haired boy noticing how he changed from his armored form back to his normal. Whatever he just saw he's never seen before. He couldn't explain it at all as no power he knew of would grant someone an ability like that.
Subaru noticing the man he was attempting too search for stood up, "I was trying to find you perfect" he said staring at Reinhard
Reinhard was confused but this boy just destroyed a part of the Royal Castle, he was confused why he was looking for him but regardless he would obviously have to arrest him.
"What is your name" Subaru asked too the red-haired knight approaching.
This confused Reinhard even more, he said he was looking for him but didn't know his name? He also used his Divine Protection of Empathy and didn't sense any negative intent for the actions he just did, and he was speaking the truth in the intent of finding him.
"My name is Reinhard, may I ask why you did this and why your looking for me?"
Subaru nodded, "Uh how do I put this, black-haired women with a weird looking knife and black clothing is coming and my guess is to kill someone either her or a blonde-haired women" he stated pointing too the silver-haired women when he referred to 'her'.
Reinhard was lost at this point, the boy seemed to know nothing not even names but seemed to be trying to find him to warn him? He still couldn't understand what the boy was talking about.
"Kill me?" The silver-haired girl responded a bit annoyed
Subaru sighed, "Yeah but my goal wasn't to help you it was the blonde-girl. I can't really give much information as I don't know names but I was trying to prevent someone dying"
"Well you should first know names, my name is Emilia and I am a candidate to become King of this Kingdom. I don't appreciate your disrespect, not only implying I'm weak enough to die to some unnamed women but that you wouldn't care either? How dare you! You look fairly weak yourself" Emilia spat annoyed at this boy's implications
A voice coming from a green circle appeared, "How dare you disrespect my partner. It would be wise of you to be grateful that he is saving your life even though he didn't intend too"
Reinhard quickly noticed his sword, Reid, the legendary sword that was given too him when he earnt the title of Sword Saint unsheathed. Reinhard questioned why this black-haired boy was worth of the Reid but was consumed by curiosity as well.
"Lia, whatever that power that boy has is dangerous. I can't exactly tell how powerful it may be but we should leave" The floating cat said
Subaru shrugged, "Cool was only looking for Reinhard, if the black-haired women kills you not my problem"
This infiltrated Emilia. Once again implying she was weak. She hated that feeling worst of all. Her whole life has been dedicated too becoming strong enough too kill the Witch that destroyed everything she cared for and this stranger was belittling her.
Emilia formed a ice rod ready too kill this boy and teach him a lesson, she doubted it would hold any consequences as this boy just destroyed a part of the Royal Castle. She aimed the rod at the boy's chest and launched the projectile at blinding speeds.
I am drained from using balance-breaker. Looks like I'll die again. Fuck this women.
Suddenly the icicle that was moments ago moving at incredible speeds was caught by Reinhard.
"I won't allow you to kill this boy, I have questions I need to ask him" Reinhard stated breaking the icicle into pieces in his hand.
Ok this guy is really strong holy shit.
"Reinhard, we need to be prepared for the black-haired women" Subaru stated worried that everything he just did was for no reason.
"This boy is both insane and damaged the Royal Castle and you protect him?" Emilia said in annoyance
This girl hates being called weak. Let's see how she handles this.
"It's honestly pathetic, this knight stopped your attack with his bare hands. You're power is weak yet you act like your strong it's funny" Subaru said grinning at the girl.
Subaru had no idea the power that this 'Knight' had. Emilia wasn't phased by the comment as she did know however and begin walking away.
Subaru begin laughing, "Looks like I was right"
Emilia under any other circumstance would've killed the boy. But he was being protected by the most powerful person in Lugina or even the world. She knew she had no choice but too walk away but it still made her bitter. She begins pondering ways to get payback against the boy.
Reinhard regained his focus, many more knights we're coming, and this boy will most likely get arrested but if his claims held any merit then he rather avoid that and prevent the women he spoke of from murdering anyone.
Reinhard realizing he didn't even know the boy's name asked, "What is your name?"
"Subaru, and we should follow the Emilia bitch to find the black-haired women. My guess is that Emilia is the target considering her status as some Royal candidate or whatever" Subaru said blankly
Reinhard was some-what shocked by the Subaru's behavior. But nevertheless, he would not let anyone die if he could prevent it and the boy has not lied about any claims regarding the threat.
Reinhard gulped. "Well, you do realize normally I would arrest you and you'd probably be put to death for destroying a part of the Royal Capital, but if your claims hold merit I may be able to help you avoid that outcome"
Ok this is getting tense.
"Sure let's just follow Emilia and hopefully my hunch is correct" Subaru stated.
Reinhard nodded and the two left before any guards could arrive to the scene. Subaru was wearing black jeans, a white shirt and his hair black. Reinhard found everything about Subaru too be strange but would ask questions later.
The two had a awry silence before a voice spoke, "Partner, your power should be replenished by now if you need to use balance breaker again"
Subaru smiled, "Great thanks Ddraig"
Reinhard was silent. His questions we're endless but he had other things to be focused on. They we're tailing Emilia and so far, nothing happened.
Ten minutes pass and Reinhard begins too question if Subaru was lying or mistaken about the claims he made.
"Subaru, nothing is happening"
Seconds after Reinhard stated a blonde girl ran past them towards Emilia.
"Oh wait Emilia is going to kill her after she steals her insignia and then the black-haired girl comes ok Reinhard be ready. I'll help you only if needed" Subaru stated curious on the Knight's power
Reinhard chuckled at Subaru's statement and looked back preparing himself. He watched as the blonde-girl stole the insignia from Emilia, then he notices Emilia smiling.
"GO SHE'S GOING TO KILL HER IF YOU DON'T" Subaru yelled at Reinhard
Reinhard turned to see the icicle forming in Emilia's hands and quickly dashed towards her too prevent her from killing the blonde.
"Huh?" Emilia questioned as Reinhard appeared again blocking her attack towards Felt.
Reinhard was annoyed at Emilia, seeing her smile while preparing to kill someone was disgusting. Nonetheless the girl still had the insignia.
"Partner, the black-haired girl is watching from behind that ally over there" Ddraig spoke to Subaru
Well looks like I have to fight her.
"Five seconds, right?"
"Yes"
Subaru's red gauntlet appeared as he begin boosting.
"BOOST"

Subaru was ready, "BALANCE BREAK" the gauntlet echoed
Subaru moved at blinding speeds and crushed Elsa's head through multiple buildings.
Two seconds left
Subaru managed too land seven punches and then sent Elsa flying into a building. Subaru felt something was off, she was somehow barely still alive. Very few would be able too survive that attack head on. Subaru passed out from exhaustion after overusing his power in his balance-breaker state.
While Subaru was fighting Elsa, Reinhard managed too stop Felt and return the insignia that belonged too Emilia. When Felt handed the insignia to Reinhard, he noticed that the insignia flashed red while Felt held it. Reinhard already had many things on his mind but now he found the fifth Dragon Candidate. He decided to take in Felt and asked Emilia to check on Subaru which he would later find out would be a big mistake.
Reinhard really asked me to help that pathetic boy. Well, I guess even the most powerful people can be fools. I'm going to enjoy making that weakling beg for death for disrespecting me… What does he know? What does he know about pain?
Emilia approached the unconscious boy, "I'm going to make your life a living hell" she mumbled.
'Lia, I told you not too provoke that boy or rather whatever is inside him'
Useless spirit, always assuming the worse trying to protect me from everything. As far as I can tell he was wiped out from fighting some random assassin.
A voice coming from a green circle spoke from Subaru's hand, "Did I not warn you of threatening my partner? Try to harm him and you will end up dead" the voice stated with a tone of anger, and confidence.
What the hell? Who or what was that? I've never seen any magic, or well anything that does that. Is that how Subaru has that strange power? Regardless of whatever that thing is will regret threatening me. I am strong, I am. I have to be or else I will never kill her.
Why does he have so many scars? Not to mention the clothing he's wearing I've never seen and before he seemed to be able to almost predict the future. Whatever his power is I will use it to help me become King. Perhaps I can even use this boy to assist me in killing that Witch… The possibilities are endless.
Ram later arrived with a carriage.
"Who is that?" She questioned staring at the unconscious boy with Emilia.
"This is someone we will be taking care of now, please treat him kindly" She Emilia replied with a sadistic grin.
"Understood Emilia" Ram bowed and begin helping Emilia carry the unconscious boy into the carriage.
Emilia decided to stay at an Inn and then return too Roswaal's manner. She had some planning to consider.
'Puck do you think there's any way to separate that strange power he has from him?'
'Lia, I don't think you understand. The power within him is something unique. But in terms of power I can guess that the being with him would be multiple times stronger then Satella…'
Emilia froze hearing that.
'But why isn't he as powerful then? He would've been able to kill that assassin easily'
'That's the same thing I don't get, but regardless he's very dangerous and already doesn't seem to be fond of you'
Emilia resented the concept of being weak. Yet right now she's being told by her own spirit that she is. Or perhaps he is just far stronger. Emilia desired one thing, revenge and retribution. She wanted to undo the curse in Elior Forest and kill Pandora. She wanted too kill her so bad it consumed her.
Emilia was lost in thought and Subaru woke up.
"Ddraig what happened" Subaru asked
"Partner glad your awake. Reinhard left, Emilia is taking you in to her manner or something. She seems to be hostile be careful around her"
Emilia overheard the little conversation the two had. She still had no idea what the voice was that spoke from Subaru's hand was but she wanted the power it held. The power that could easily defeat Pandora. But the thing she needed to know was how to obtain it.
Emilia knocked on Subaru's door. They we're staying in a small Inn but Emilia insisted that Ram got Subaru a separate room. She didn't want to admit it but she was a bit afraid of whatever power lurked within him.
"Who is it?" Subaru asked
Emilia gulped, "Emilia I over-"
"What do you want" Subaru cuts her off getting straight to the point
Emilia opened the door and was surprised. Subaru was shirtless and she stared at countless scars. One larger one that almost covered the length of his chest.
"Emilia?" Subaru said noticing she was staring.
Subaru's parents we're both Italian immigrants. So too Subaru being shirtless in front of a girl was nothing strange. For Emilia who has never even really talked to many people in general she couldn't stop herself from being a bit uncomfortable.
"Uh right, I overheard your conversation and as long as you can help me, I won't hurt you" Emilia stated staring at Subaru's emerald eyes.
Is that a threat? What is this girls deal. Her eyes remind me of eyes filled with vengeance and regret yet she seems to also be rude to everyone else as well. Pathetic. A person who is filled with rage and takes it out on everyone around them. The worst type of people.
Subaru decided too see if he was correct in his assumption, "You want to kill someone, someone that took away the people you cherished and that's all you desire correct?"
Emilia was frozen. She couldn't speak it was almost as this boy she just met learnt of the one thing she wanted nobody to ever learn of the most.
"That-t-t not itt" Emilia mumbles
Well I was right. When I saw my dead parents, I think my eyes looked the same. But I can't do anything now and I'm stuck in this world, the only thing I have left is my pride and Ddraig.
Subaru stared at Emilia questioning how similar they may be, "Did this person kill your parents?"
Emilia snapped. She begin too freeze the room before she heard, "My parents we're also killed right in front of me. The person who did it I will never be able to get revenge on now"
Emilia froze again, she didn't know what to say. She felt guilt and remorse but rejected it. She wanted too appear strong.
A voice echoed from Subaru's hand, "Partner, why try to help this girl?"
Subaru noticing Emilia's complete confusion on this voice she keeps hearing decided to explain his power to her, "Emilia in case you we're wondering. This is Ddraig, the voice you hear. A sacred gear I was born with and he is now the only person I have left. In simple words he is the dragon of domination. I would be referred to as the Red Dragon Emperor, but since that doesn't exist here I guess I no longer have the title"
"Partner, no matter what world or reality we go to you are the Red Dragon Emperor" Ddraig said in a tone of annoyance.
"Right, right but don't you think it will be confusing to explain to literally everyone in this world what the Red Dragon Emperor means?" Subaru rebutted
"Partner, do I need to make you understand what a the meaning behind a dragon's pride is?"
Subaru begin to shake hearing that, remembering the 'training' that Ddraig made him go through the last time he disrespected the boosted gear. Before he could turn back Emilia was already gone.
Who does he think he is? Does he have any idea what I've been through? Why am I crying?
But why do I feel like I'm wrong am I? I only brought Subaru to try to take his power and make his life a living nightmare for making me feel weak. But after one conversation, why do I feel guilty? Even if he has a similar past to me why should I be concerned about it? My goals should remain the same but why did he say that he can't get revenge now. If Puck was right about his power, then…
Did I really consider torturing him before learning of his power? For only… making me feel weak. I thought the only way too get my revenge was to become strong but it's clear Subaru is strong and he couldn't get his revenge…

The following morning, Emilia, Subaru and Ram left and made there way too the Roswaal manner. Subaru could already tell something weird was going on. Ever since they got on the carriage Emilia has been silent.
I wonder what her deal is. One day she's a psychotic bitch the next she looks like some shy girl. Why is this world so weird?
Subaru sighed, "Ram how much longer?"
"We're almost there"
I hate when people respond to questions relating to time with 'almost' like just say the minutes, hours or days.
Subaru turned around and caught Emilia staring at him, she quickly moved her head down.
Ok, what the fuck is going on.
"Emilia, yesterday you seemed like a psychotic bitch but today you seem somewhat normal what changed?" Subaru said with a blank face
"I don't know what you mean by bitch but I assume it's something rude. And I am being completely normal" Emilia barked
"Ddraig what do you think?" Subaru asked with a grin
"Partner, are you an idiot? You made her have a mental break down and now she's questioning whether being a terrible person is a good thing or not"
Emilia frowned, "Why did I bring you here" she mumbled.
"Because you wanted to torture me right?"
Emilia slapped Subaru but the slap didn't make a noise.
Subaru sighed, "Well Ddraig, at least in this world I'm not being hunted by the three factions. So in that sense it isn't to bad"
An almost amount of time passes and Subaru is greeted too a giant mansion.
"This looks like something one of the Devil King's would have" Ddraig laughed.
It was about 1:00PM when they arrived, while Subaru was admiring the giant mansion Emilia was still lost in her head wondering what to do or how to act.
"This will be your room, please wait here until Lord Roswaal returns" Ram stated pointing to a guest room door.
No fucking way. Sitting in a boring room for half the day? No. Fuck no. But then again who here would be fun to hang out with? Maybe I should explore a bit.
"Sure" Subaru said waiting for Ram to leave.
As soon as she left Subaru left his room to explore, he found nothing to noteworthy until he opened a door and found a small girl and a giant library.
"Who are you I suppose?" Beatrice asks
"I am Subaru Natsuki and who are you?" Subaru asked happy too meet someone that didn't seem completely bitter.
"My name is Beatrice, the caretaker of the Forbidden Library which you are trespassing I suppose"
The two stare at each other for a few moments, Beatrice trying to figure out why his mana seems to be so off and Subaru trying to figure out how to let him read in this place. Subaru knew that Ddraig wanted knowledge and here's a perfect place for it.
Subaru smiled, "How about this? I'll give you a cookie if you let us read a bit"
Beatrice frowned, "I am in fact four hundred years old"
Ddraig's voice echoed, "I am three thousand years old"
Beatrice shocked hearing a voice speak from Subaru's hand. She realized, that is where the odd form of energy was coming from.
Beatrice interested asks, "And who are you I suppose"
Ddraig was waiting for a question like this, "I am the heavenly dragon Ddraig also known as the Dragon of Domination or the Welsh Dragon"
Beatrice perked up, she has never heard of anything like this before. Being three thousand years old? Beatrice wanted to know more about this being attached to Subaru.
"So you're a dragon?" Beatrice questioned
Subaru realizing how boring this is going to get decided to cut the conversation short, "Okay Beatrice we can resume this conversation later I think I'll enjoy pestering Emilia more then this long, long conversation that would transpire"
Subaru walks out looking for Emilia, he wasn't sure why but he wanted to annoy her a bit. Right now he was supposed to being tortured yet is roaming freely in a castle.
"EMILIA WHERE ARE YOU!" Subaru shouts loud enough the whole mansion could hear him.
Is that idiot seriously yelling my name?
"EMILIA WHERE ARE YOU I'M GOING TO KEEP YELLING UNTIL YOU COME TO ME" Subaru's voice echoed the mansion

Subaru sighed, "Ok I'll tell you the story now. It's about two brothers. The older one was named Itachi and the younger was named Saskue. Itachi was forced into circumstances where he had to kill his entire clan to save the rest of his village. But he couldn't bring himself to kill his little brother. Itachi decided to make his brother hate him so he would get stronger and when he killed everyone in his village, he told Saskue to get stronger. Later he did but that was where Itachi's mistake was. Saskue went on the path of vengeance to seek power and became a monster himself. In the end Itachi let Saskue kill him to gain his revenge and that's the story"
Emilia stared at Subaru, "Why tell me this story?"
"Because I don't see why Pandora would spare you unless she had a good reason. Also it's a lesson about revenge and how the path of going for revenge leads to nothing but emptiness"
"Why do you care" Emilia begin shedding tears, she couldn't suppress them anymore.
Ddraig spoke, "Partner, are you seriously into this girl?"

Emilia froze, "I don't care. I don't care about you, your parents, everyone you love could be dead and I wouldn't care. SO STOP CARING ABOUT ME"

Emilia starred at Subaru's emerald eyes. She didn't know how to feel but she did know she was lying when she said she didn't care. But she didn't know why she cared either. Emilia has never had anyone really act like this. Go as far as forgiving her violence. She didn't know what to think.
"I will never be able to get revenge, and I know the person that killed my parents is not someone that did it because they had too. They enjoyed it. That women killed them because she got bored waiting for me to come home and killed them out of boredom. I was her target and my parents died due to me existing. That women is gone now and I will never get revenge and I don't even care anymore" Subaru said laying back down on Emilia's bed. Subaru wanted to say that to someone other then Ddraig and he finally was able to.

The next day came. Subaru was awaken by two maids, one who she knew and the other who she didn't.

Rem was shocked hearing the voice coming from nowhere, but Ram already was familiar with it.
Ram coughed, "Lord Roswaal will be returning today, please prepare we will be having breakfast and you will be given a reward"

Ram nodded and Emilia entered the room.

Subaru didn't have feelings for Emilia yet. His parents we're Italian so he's used to teasing a lot. But Subaru did think Emilia was attractive he was more worried about her personality issues. Emilia on the other hand was a bit different.
"Ram Ram are guest seems to be a pervert" Rem said
Why is she talking like that?
"No I'm not" Subaru replied yawning again
"Just wanted to see if you survived, I poisioned you so didn't expect this" Emilia says staring at Subaru
Subaru laughed, "You neglected to account two things, poison does not work on dragons and secondly you're a terrible liar"
Subaru got out of bed and went up to Emilia, "So next time you try to kill me, your going to need a weapon that can kill god to do so ok?"
Emilia wasn't really paying attention to what Subaru was saying. Subaru was shirtless directly in front of her. She just stared at the many scars on his body wondering what caused them. Rem and Ram both just stare in confusion as they have no idea what Emilia or Subaru are talking about.
"Partner I think you killed her"
"Yeah no response weird maybe this will do the trick" Subaru wraps his arms around Emilia not seeing any problem in doing so.
"Ok Subaru back off my daughter" Puck said punching Subaru across the room.
The punch was good, Subaru coughed up a bit of blood.
"Ddraig do you want to teach this young spirit a lesson on why to not threaten the dragon that stole domination from god?"

"Ddraig got any ideas on how to kill a flying cat spirit?"

About one-hour later Subaru sits down too eat breakfast awaiting Roswaal to propose his one reward for killing Elsa. He felt something strange however. The moment Roswaal entered the room both Ddraig and Subaru thought he was suspicious for different reasons.
"Partner, do plan B"

The rest of the people at the table simply stared at him except for Roswaal who seemed to have an odd grin.
"So you're the Lord of this area or Manner or whatever correct?" Subaru asked Roswaal
Roswaal grinned, "Yesssss I am and I believe I am in yourrr debt. Name any reward and if I have the power to do sooo I will fulfill it"
Subaru grinned back, "Cool. Since this world doesn't have any beings that are well stronger than me, I'm getting bored. But politics are cool so I have one request and one demand. My request for your reward is I get to hang-out with Emilia all day unless I'm training. Secondly and this is the demand. I find you fairly suspicious so do anything out of line and I'll destroy this entire fucking world"
The room went silent. Puck knew he could or at least the beast within him could do so. Roswaal on the other hand didn't.
"Quite a interesting threattt your making… But I ensure you I am not scheming at all. And consider your reward fulfilled you will have full access to Emilia whenever you want" Roswaal responded with a even bigger grin then before.
Rem and Ram both stared at Subaru thinking he's a pervert.
"Okay that's not what I meant Roswaal your twisting my words around"

"Roswaal did you know that if I say a single chant this entire world would be destroyed?" Subaru said staring directly in Roswaal's eyes.

"Subaru calm down" Emilia said a bit shy never seeing a side like this to Subaru. She wondered why he was acting like this.

Roswaal's Tome of Wisdom did not factor anything to do with Subaru's power. Roswaal was both annoyed and scared at Subaru's demeanor too.
"And? I honestly thought you'd have a better card to play Roswaal. Pathetic." Subaru replied continuing to eat his food like the word's he was saying we're completely normal.
Emilia sitting next to him didn't like what she was seeing, it almost made her wonder if he's been acting this entire time.
"Welllll if you don't care what if I kill her right in front of you?" Roswaal said aiming multiple blasts of magical power in Emilia's direction.
"I who shall awaken"
The entire room was destroyed by the shock wave of that single sentence. Subaru only needed to say one part of the chant to release a massive amount of aura.
"Roswaal that was one line of the chant would you like me to continue?" Subaru threatened
Roswaal begin laughing, "It seems my plans must be changed now. Your free to do whatever you wanttttt"
Subaru looked around. The entire room was destroyed. And the one next to him, Emilia got hurt due to his aura.
"Subaru was everything a lie?" Emilia asked
Subaru frowned, "None of it was. But I think I realize now I'm still considered a pawn by some. So Roswaal I won't let you try to use me for anything. You have no leverage and you're lucky I don't kill you for bringing back those memories. I'm going to the capital as staying here would be disrespectful to my title as the Red Dragon Emperor."

Subaru noticed Emilia and could tell she was breaking down. He wasn't sure what to do in this stage as Roswaal is a issue.

Pandora after saying that disappeared, no trace or logic left behind and a confused, broken Emilia.

Chapter 3:
Subaru opens his eyes, his new checkpoint was right before dinner.
Good, now I'm just going to be a bit more chill with Roswaal.
Subaru goes to the dinning area and eats breakfast, he requests the same reward but does not make any threat.
This should make things fine compared to before.
After breakfast, Emilia asked Subaru too talk to her for a bit.
Subaru opens the door, "Hello what-"
"Why don't you knock?"
"What's the worst that could happen me see you naked?" Subaru laughed
Puck looked angry at Subaru, "Lia, I think you could do better"

"Emilia, imagine your life but instead of people fearing you everyone pretended to love you. The moment you let your guard down then they tried too kill you. That's the difference between our lives"
Emilia realized Subaru was far more broken then him. She wasn't sure if she could do anything but she would try.
"Subaru if you won't get the message with words I'll try something else"
Emilia begin too strip in front of Subaru, then taking off his clothes.

I think I understand now, the only path I can take is the path of isolation. I'll do another loop and leave. No matter what happens all I'll bring Emilia and anybody else around me is despair.

"Subaru your going too die now" Puck said infuriated at the scene he was witnessing.

Emilia frowned, "Puck what is wrong with you? Why would you appear right now? Do you not-"
Emilia was talking but Puck already sent icicles into Subaru's chest.
"Partner you're turning into a evil dragon"
"Am I?"
"Yes, and if you don't fix your mental state the progression will only continue until your not even recognizable from your current self"

"That I cannot tell you, but what you might want too try is relaxing"
