Note: I was reading one of Princess of Miracles' stories, one of them is Adventures Season, which is called Adventures Redone, where she has her gender bend favorite character, Davis or Daisuke in the story, have travel back in time to the original team's adventure with Veemon by her side, only the duo is starting over.
Meaning, Dai would be searching for her Crest since the story is show verse style. And I thought about my OC from Frontier, Amy Haruno, who is related to my other OC from Adventures, Akane Haruno. Even though I'm not doing the show verses anymore, thought I should do it again, only this time, I'm gonna have Amy be with the Zero Two team, but again, of her traveling back in time.
I know, I know, the credit and story idea belong to Princess of Miracles. I know. I'm not stealing her idea; I am giving her credit for it.
So, hopefully you guys would like it. And who knows, maybe I might bring back my version of the shows or not. Hence the multi-shots I'm doing that involves the episodes I've never gotten a chance to get to from both season 1 and 4. (And maybe a little bit of season 2 with Akane in it)
Again, hopefully you guys would like it. And oh, Amy would have a Gaomon, as well. :) And as for pairing? Uh, I'm not sure yet. -.-'
And in case you're wondering, the second generation already gotten their Digi-Egg, at least when the trio first joined the team and TK and Kari already found theirs. So, you can say Amy is the new member till the time Ken decided to join in. :)
Back in Time to Zero Two!
Travel Back to Second Generation part 1 of 2

It's been three months since me and my team have returned home from our adventures in Digital World, where all seven of us became these group of heroes, known as the Legendary Warriors, with me being the eleventh member named Akitamon, Warrior of Trust.
I'm sure you guys heard of that word, right? That's because my older cousin, Akane was a Digidestined herself, she was the Chosen Child of Trust, so you can say I was like her protege since the power been passed down to me, from the moment Koji and I were over at Gaomon's village. Where I've found my spirit, Akitamon.
Right now, I'm at school, during lunch break since my fellow classmates are minding their own business while I'm hanging out over by a tree, sitting underneath the shade during this beautiful sunny day. Even the breeze felt really nice.
"Mm, feels really nice." I tell myself, giggle a bit and then, look back at my book I'm reading called Dreamin' the Boy Next Door.
A fellow classmate of mine recommended me this book and it's a romance type with neighbors to lovers troupe. I rolled my eyes at that when she first told me about it. Not until I've felt my phone ringing.
"Hm?' I reached over to my right pocket and pull it out. With my eyes widen at the sight of a familiar Warrior on screen. "What the?" She giggled.
"Long time no see, Amy. How are you?" I look around to see if there's any kids around me, then I sat up to talk to her.
"Akitamon. Wha-how-I mean, I'm doing fine," I tell her, fixing my glasses. "How are you? What are you doing back in my phone?"
"Well, the reason I'm back on here, because Lady Ophanimon have sent me to give you a mission." Say what?
"Is the Digital World in danger again?" She shakes her head.
"Not in my timeline Digital World," Huh? "Amami Haruno, your mission is for you to go back in time, to where the second generation have joined with the original team and this time, you're going to be in it, for you to help them out to defeat the evil that's been lurking in their timeline."
I blinked. Once, twice, three times till I said this.
"SAY WHAT?!" Causing the entire school building to shake. "What do you mean I'm going back in time to the second generation's timeline?!"
"Like I said, to defeat the evil that's been lurking in their timeline," She said. "And I'm not talking about the young boy who was the Digimon Emperor. Remember all the stories that your older cousin told you about?" My brows went up.
"Where Akane was with the second generation," I said. "During the time when MaloMyotismon almost gotten his revenge on the team."
"Yep. Only this time, you're going to be there to help them out, when that time comes. Hence why Lady Ophanimon wanted me to tell you about it." I narrow my eyes at her.
"Wait a minute, isn't Ophanimon the Gatomon that knew my cousin?" I asked her. "How can I go back in time if Gatomon is Ophanimon in our timeline?"
"You dummy! You're going to travel in time, before the big three became the Celestial Beings of Digital World!" Oh, yeah.
"My bad!" I scolded her back, seeing her form a sweat drop look. "So, if I'm going back in time, just how the hell am I going to get there?" She smirked.
"That's simple. You're going through a Digital Gate." Seriously? "Hey, we can't have you take a train. The Trailmon hasn't exist around that time." That's right. "You're gonna need a computer to go in. Once you did, I'm gonna have to tell you the rules."
Within few hours, school have ended with me heading to my locker to grab my shoes and put them on, then put my school shoes inside, grabbing my backpack and then, closed it and began to leave the building.
It's a good thing the walk is only ten minutes away to my house, so Akitamon can go ahead tell me the rules.
"They're simple, really." She said.
"Wait, before you start, should I get the rest of the team to know about this?" She glares at me.
"No, they can't know about it, you're the only one going."
"And why can't they know about it?" I glared back.
"Again, the big three hasn't exist yet, this includes the Legendary Warriors. The original Digimon that your cousin's team had, they don't know about Gatomon and Patamon becoming our guardians of Digital World." She said. "Hence the rules I'm going to tell you."
Rule number one: Never tell the past about where I've come from.
Rule number two: Never tell them about the future or mentioning of what I've known.
Rule number three: Never bring up about the Legendary Warriors to Patamon and Gatomon.
"And rule number four: Don't try to have a crush on any of the boys. Long distance relationships never work out." I roll my eyes at that while I head inside of my house.
"What about when Akane and her family sees me?" I asked her after I got inside.
"They're the exception." Akitamon said. "Lord Seraphimon told me that Akane's parents were kind enough to help them out back then, when the original team head back home to find the ninth child."
"That's right," Remembering that story Akane told me as I head upstairs to my bedroom. "My aunt and uncle instantly fell for all the Digimon, mostly towards Gaomon."
"And speaking of Gaomon, there's a surprise waiting for you in your bedroom." Huh? She giggled. "You're not going to have me as your partner."
I head over to my bedroom door, opened it and my eyes widen at the sight. At a familiar ultramarine blue dog with a familiar white bandana on her head, a pair of matching white boxing gloves and met a pair of light blue eyes that match her bright smile on her cute face.
"Hi, Amy, long time no see." She giggled as she jumps off my bed. I began to tear up.
"Gaomon!" Dropping my backpack to the floor, I laughed, and I embrace her, holding her close in my arms, hearing the two of us laughing, mostly me sobbing a bit. "Ohh, my sweet girl, you have no idea how much I've missed you."
"I've missed you, too, Amy, so much." Gaomon giggled. We look at each other, then I look back at my phone to meet a bright smiling Akitamon on screen.
"Lady Ophanimon thought it'll be a neat idea for Lady Gaomon to be your partner during your journey." I sniffled, wiping the tears away from my face.
"Thanks, Akitamon." I tell her, hugging Gaomon still.
"No problem. In case you ask, she came through the Digital Gate, which look up." I look over at my computer and there's gate waiting on my main screen.
The two of us walked over with Gaomon jumping onto my desk chair while I check it out. Not until I saw a little computer next to my keyboard. I grab it.
"What's this?"
"That's your D-terminal," Gaomon answers. "It's a little technology where you can send a message to the other members of the Digidestined and where your Digi-Egg would be in." Digi-Egg?
"Wait a minute," I look back at Akitamon. "Does that mean that me and Gaomon are going to find it, instead of Akane?" She nodded.
"That's right," She said.
"Here's your D-3, Amy." I hear Gao when I look over at her and saw a little digivice on her gloved paw. I grab it and saw it was the color of light blue and ultramarine blue.
"Hey, two of my favorite colors," I said with a grin. Hearing Akitamon giggling a bit.
"I figured you're gonna like it," I look back at her, felt a little frown on my face.
"So, if I'm going to travel back in time, I'm gonna be actually staying over there, till MaloMyotismon show up? Seeing the team's Digimon DNA digivolve and stuff?"
"That's the idea," Akitamon said. "I know it's gonna be about a year for you to stay at that timeline." My eyes widen.
"A year?!" I scolded her. "Akitamon, I can't stay that long! What about here?! My family are going to be suspicious that I'm not here or at school, let alone Koji when he realizes it!"
"I told her," That was from Gaomon when I look down at her, seeing her arms folded. "I told her that Koji is going to realize that you're not in your school since you two were classmates, that I remember." Even my own Digimon pointed the idea.
"Okay, okay, I get it, I get it," Akitamon stated. "I'm just the messenger here. This is all what Lady Ophanimon told me to tell you about the mission. She even mentioned that you were going to react like that, so like three months have passed in the Real World's time, we're going to have the Real World freeze on the same day after you've entered the Digital Gate."
"For a year?" I frown again.
"Hey, either you take it or leave it, Amami." She scolded me. "Choosers can't be pleasers, you know." I exhale in disbelief.
"I guess I can't argue with that," I murmured. Then, I put my devices down on my desk, with my cell phone being held up on my monitor and then, I head over to my closet.
"What are you doing, Amy?" Gaomon asked me.
"I'm gonna change my skirt into a pair of pants," I tell her, sticking my head out. "I'm not gonna have any perverted boys look underneath, if we're planning to climb somewhere." That cause my two Digimon friends to laugh while I head back in to change.
Since I'm gonna be a Digidestined again, I wore the outfit that I wore three months ago. My favorite pair of dark jeans with my new light blue belt around the loops, so I can use my pouch to put in my D-terminal and digivice inside. I've kept my light blue tshirt on with my black vest over it. I even put on a new pair of fingerless gloves that I've bought recently, in cool gray colored.
Even my bandana is also the same gray colored while I walk over to my full-length mirror to look at myself and saw I'm being my original self since my adventure days in Digital World. I went ahead put my hair up as a simple ponytail and done. I grab my usual blue and white running shoes and put them on till I heard a knock on my door.
"Amy?" Oh, crap!
"It's my cousin!" I whispered to my Digimon friends. Gaomon quickly hid herself in the closet while my phone screen went black after I grab it and put it in my pocket and cleared my throat.
"Come in, Akane!" I called out and she did.
She's a young woman in her early twenties, now. Twenty-three years old with bright brown eyes and has light olive skin tone. Her hair is now, in shoulder length with dark chocolate brown color with side bangs since she recently gotten her hair done. She's wearing a really pretty lilac floral skater dress and I notice she's wearing the locket I gotten her for her twenty-first birthday, after she graduated from college to start working at the diner full time since she majored in culinary.
Inside the locket is two pictures, one of herself with my aunt and uncle and the other of the two of us when we were younger. Well, when she was fourteen years old and I was three years old and she been there for me from the moment she came to America to stay to help my dad with me and my three older brothers for three years.
She smiles at me. "Hey, beautiful sky."
"Hi, big cuz." I smiled back, especially at the nickname she calls me by. "What's up?"
"I've stopped by to see if you wanna come with me and the girls to go bridesmaids dress shopping." Oh, yeah, did I forget to mention that she's getting married? You're not gonna believe to who.
If you're thinking the melodramatic idiot bushy haired goggle head? Well, used to be goggle head? Nope! It's Matt, who would've thought, right?
I've thought about it, then I thought about what Akitamon been telling me, about the mission of me traveling back in time to the second generation's timeline. I look up at my cousin, seeing of how not only she became a beautiful young woman, she's also my role model since I didn't grow up without a mom before my stepmom, Ayomi came into the picture.
The young woman who was also the Chosen Digidestined of Trust, who everyone in her team riled on for her chosen Crest. Of how she would have them believed in faith and themselves for all the dangers they've faced throughout their adventures back in the day, especially towards TK and Kari since the duo were Chosen Digidestined of Hope and Light, since they represented of Trust, as well.
Not only that, Akane is also funny, brave, doesn't give a crap of what other people think of her and very creative and all around amazing and down to earth. That's probably why Matt fell for her. Even though Akane was so anti-social back then, she was slowly opening up to everyone, especially to him while helping him to watch over TK when he was a kid.
Even the time when Matt almost believed in Cherrymon, almost made him turned against the team when Gabumon became MetalGarurumon for the first time, thanks to Akane and Gaomon, the two knocked some sense into them, mostly to Matt since Akane told him she hates it that her friends rather believe something negative, instead positive. Almost causing his Crest to go black, thanks to her Crest.
"Amy?" I shake my head a bit.
"Um, I wish I could, Akane," I tell her with a frown. "It's just, um..."
"What is it?" She came up to me and held my hands when she realized my gloves and of what I'm wearing. "What's with the outfit? I thought you wore your skirt to school today." I notice that her brows went up with curiosity, when she saw my pouch. "Hey, wasn't that pouch I've given you?" She look up at me. "When I was with the second generation?"
Damn it, I almost broke down, I thought. I was gonna say it till save by her phone.
"Oh, hold on." She lets go of one of my hands and reach for her phone. She rolls her eyes. "It's Mimi, she's waiting for us outside." She look back at me. "You were saying?" I gulped.
"It's just," I just remember my backpack is still on the floor by the door. "I got tons of homework to do, and I've changed, because I'm going to meet up with Koji at his place to work on some book report that's due by next Friday."
"Oh, okay," She grins. "Then, that's fine. You and I would go together to pick out your dress this weekend. Just the two of us and maybe we can go try out that new frozen yogurt place that opened up afterwards, yeah?" I nodded with a grin.
"Yeah, sounds great." I went ahead pull her to me and gave her a hug, hearing her giggling a bit, hugging me back.
"You okay, beautiful sky?" I nodded my head against her chest.
"I'm great, big cuz." I look up at her, smiling. "I just love you, that's all." She smiles back at me.
"I love you, too, baby cuz." Leaning in to give me a sweet kiss on my forehead, then began to leave. "Make sure you and Koji aren't doing anything romantic while working on your homework." I blushed.
"AKANE!" I almost toss my mouse pad at her after she ran out of my room, hearing her laughing as she head downstairs. "I'll see you later, kiddo!"
"Bye! Make sure you lock the door!" I called out after Gaomon came out.
"She's really funny." She giggled, giving her a stink eye while I pull out my phone to see my Warrior friend on screen. She smiles.
"How did it go?" I scowled at her.
"I hate you, right now."
"Why, what did I do?"
Within a minute later, I'm ready to go. I have my D-terminal in my pouch while Gaomon and I stood in front of my screen. With the Digital Gate being opened.
"Remember the rules, Amy," Akitamon reminded me. "Especially not mentioning anything about the future to the team. Even with Akane and her family being the exception to know that you're from the future, you can't also tell her about it, either. Not even mentioning about her getting married to one of her teammates."
"I get it, Akitamon," I scolded her. "I know how to keep a secret. Just be glad I've come up with a lie for her to believe that I was going to Koji's to our homework." She scowled at me.
"Yeah, smooth on that idea." She said, causing me to roll my eyes. "All right, go ahead and hold up your digivice in front of the Digital Gate." I did till it began to glow, along with the montior. "All you have to say is DigiPort, Open and you're in." Gaomon went ahead jump onto my shoulder and we get ready to head in. "Good luck with your new adventure, you two. I'll be popping in from time to time to see how you guys are doing, okay? Have fun and have faith within your heart." I smiled at that.
"Thanks, Akitamon, see you soon." I put my phone away in my pocket and look up at the gate. "Ready, girl?"
"Ready, Amy." I exhale.
"Here we go. DigiPort, Open!" Felt myself pulling in and head to the past, meeting with Akane's past self and her team.
Why do I get the feeling this mission is going to be complicated as it already is?
