This story is inspired by TheskyclanCat's story AU Dump, the chapter named I Hear Dead Cats. I'm putting my own spin on it and including other things that include the dead and StarClan, this story will also be the background story for an OC of mine named Lord - a character that shows up in The Bees Tale.
Oc's are also welcomed! I already filled out the main four, along with all the leader, deputy and doctor (which are replacing the names of medicine cat) roles. But warriors, apprentices, queens and elders are all welcomed. Along with if you want to add something like "might be freinds with *" or "has crush on *". Just to add a bit more and make them feel like they have interacted with the other chracters before.

The night was cold as the Clan settled into their nests. Each cat murmured, their gazes darting to anyone who got too close. It was hard to calm down after such a day, and even the leader was on edge, pelt fluffed out as she kept a close eye on the cats slowly slinking into the dark. The gray she-cats' claws dug into the stone, leaving faint marks behind.
It would be hard for the Clan to return to normal, and she could already tell the path would be a violent one. Even after the battle cats still leaped at one another, unsure who was on whose side. With the Clan broken in two, there was going to be a price to pay, one that she wasn't sure could be mended by the end of her leadership. I lost a life today. Closing her eyes she was able to still feel the pain in her nose and chest, the sting of being only able to breathe in cold water. The dread and panic still lasted even as it grew less memorable, fading into the back of her thoughts.
The scarred leader felt her hackles raise as a new scent drifted to her nose. It was hard to tell who it was, covered in the sharp scent of catnip. When she turned to face the cat, she could already see the tired yellow gaze of Mossypaw, the sandy cat looking even more irritated than normal. "What is it?" The she-cat asked, forcing her pelt to lay flat even as she eyes the tom with suspicion.
"Oh, don't give me that." The apprentice spat, his hackles raised. "Skycreek has kitted," the tom paused before adding slowly, "what do you want me to do?"
Resentment and bitterness twisted in the leader's stomach. How cruel was StarClan as to let the traitor's kits be born tonight? The Clan was still grieving the death of their loved ones, how could they take it that these kits were to be watched after with his blood in their veins? This was her one chance to make them be at rest and take care of his bloodline, these kits were the last of him in the Clan. But could she do that? I'm also connected to them. Could I spill even more of my own blood?
"How many?" She sighed. Would these kits even be able to lead a regular life? They would grow up being glared at and treated like outcasts if they lived to see the sunrise.
Mossypaw frowned. "Three. Course, how many survive past this birth would be unknown."
The leader turned to look at the tom. He couldn't possibly mean that someone would try to kill the helpless litter. Isn't that what I was going to do at first? Distress flooded her brain as she started down the slope in a rush. Until she knew what she was going to do about them no one would be allowed near the nursery.
The young tom followed, jumping with ease from one rock to another until he was at her side. It almost looked as if he was trying to get in front of her, and her suspicion was confirmed when he turned to stand in her way. "Silverstar," he hissed, his yellow eyes now narrowed to slits, "it wouldn't be wise to charge into there. Skycreek is rightfully on edge about the safety of her kits."
"No harm will come to them," she muttered, with a glance around the camp she realized what was left of them were not asleep. Instead, they sat in the shadows, watching the nursery and the two arguing cats. Were they waiting for the queen to stop kitting? "This is against the code, we are not going to bring any harm to those kits!" She cried out. Some of her warriors jump in surprise, but others watched with growing hate.
Mossypaw only shook his head. "If there are any kits to bring harm to." The sandy tom sounded grim as he turned to the nursery.
"Why do you keep saying that?" Irritation had built past the anger in her Clan, now she only felt sick and lost.
The tom flicked his tail. "The stress," he said, his voice strained. "This is all more than enough to cause harm to the queen and kits, but Skycreek's mind is very fragile," he stopped just before he entered the den, turning to look at her with his ears flat, "she is the most danger to those kits and herself, not them."
"Than we need to separate them," the she-cat followed Mossypaw into the den. Once her eyes adjusted she was able to see Skycreek curled in a nest, looking down at three tiny kits. "Skycreek."
The tortoiseshell looked up, nervousness dancing in her bright gaze. "Silverstar." She meowed, voice shaking as she swept her tail over the kits.
Mossypaw ignored them both, instead, he went to talk to his mentor. The old doctor spoke in quick bursts before she let the apprentice turn to the new queen. "Can I see them?" The tom asked, there was the same irritation in his voice as he had with Silverstar.
Even still, this seemed to calm the queen. And it startled the scarred she-cat before she realized this was probably the first time since the battle that anyone has acted normal around her. "Are they healthy?" Skycreek asked, her voice low as she looked to the nursery's entrance, fear shining in her green gaze.
"As far as I can see," the tom muttered before he stopped, his ears twitching back. "Two are," he finally announced as he stood, "one is small, she probably won't make the night."
Silverstar flinched at his bluntness. It didn't seem to bother the sandy tom as the queen wailed, her eyes flying open as she stared at the tom with a new fear. "I can't lose a kit! You have to save her, it's your job!" The tortoiseshell went from distressed to aggressive in a flash as she snarled, lips pulled back to show her teeth.
The apprentice only snorted. "I don't have to do anything," he snapped back, "and there is nothing I can do, even if I wanted to."
That was what broke the queen. Silverstar could only watch in horror as the once shy and sweet she-cat attacked the young tom. Before the leader was able to intervene a warrior came crashing into the den. It was like they had been waiting at the entrance this entire time, and part of her knew that he had been. They were waiting to get to the queen and her kits, even if they had nothing to do with the betrayal.
Chaos woke the camp into a bundle of fear and anger. The old she-cat leaped at a warrior that pushed her way into the den as if the queen was strong enough after just kitting that she would be able to handle two warriors. The warrior looked at her with wide eyes as a fresh cut bled on her nose. "Out, now!" Silverstar spat. How could they attack a queen?
Inside the den, the only noise left was the sound of the kit's loud mewls. Silverstar could already smell the harsh scent before she entered the den. Just as she had feared, the tortoiseshell had been killed in the fight. The tom stood just a few steps away from the body, the anger that had flooded his eyes was gone, replaced by sorrow as he looked between the newborn kits to the dead she-cat.
"I-" The warrior's voice died out upon seeing his leader's cold gaze. Had he even realized what he had done? This was more than just breaking the code, he had betrayed them, the second cat of the day.
Silverstar felt tears sting her eyes. How could her warriors continue to do this to her? Did she lead them to become heartless murderers? Failed them all as a leader and now was being punished by StarClan? It all twisted her thoughts into a bundle of confusion and resentment as she unsheathed her claws, digging them into the dirt below.
The cream-pelted tom widened his eyes as he took a step back. "Please, Silverstar-" his pleading was cut short as the leader lashed out. The tom stumbled back, ears flat as fresh blood poured down his cheek, a deep gash cut into the light fur.
"You will be dealt your punishment before noon," she spoke quickly as her gaze trailed down to the still queen. "Now go, both you and Rowanripple will sit watch tonight. You will be treated by Redleg at sunrise."
The tom nodded but gave the old cat a quick look. As if pleading for the elderly she-cat to treat them now. When the she-cat turned to the mewling kits he sighed, ears flattened as he left with his tail dragging behind him. Silverstar spat as he passed her. It disgusted the scarred tabby that he could even act as if he was the victim here. He had murdered a queen for StarClan's sake!
"You have to decide now," Mossypaw meowed.
Silverstar growled. "The Clan will kill them if they stay," she shook her head. This was a Clan full of heartless cats, there was no true warrior among any of them.
"I can request the others to talk with their leader, we might be able to find homes for them in another Clan," Redleg muttered.
"Thank you, Redleg. Until then one of the queens can nurse them," she paused, eyes narrowing as she added in a snarl, "under watch."
Silverstar looked down at the three kits. They had started to crawl over each other, their mews grew weaker and weaker. It made her start to wonder how this was supposed to work out. If the other Clans hear about their father it would cause them to be even more rejected, how could they live a life when anyone and everyone hated them from before they were even born?
The she-cat sighed as she curled up into the soft moss, the nest was still warm and she avoided looking at the dead queen. "Take her outside, she will be mourned and buried like an honored warrior deserves." Redleg only nodded before she slipped outside.
Mossypaw stayed back. The young tomcat had a look on his face that stirred concern within the old cat. "What is it?" Whatever it was couldn't be left to sit, not after a night like this.
"The tortoiseshell can't go," he said, for once the irritation cut off into something else, but what she couldn't tell. Without any further reasoning, he left the den in a hurry, his yellow gaze troubled as he exited.
Silverstar looked down at the weak kitten. The she-kit was a tortoiseshell like her mother, her pet a mix of dark russet tabby patches over a brown and black pelt. With a thoughtful hum, the gray tabby pressed her nose against her head. "I know the perfect name for you, little one." It was an old legend, one that she had heard many moons back. A tale of blood and death, the same that had been split at the small kit's first breaths of life.
"Welcome home, Blackbirdkit."
DayClan:
The Camp:
* Their camp is on a hill with large rocks jutting out of the dirt and around camp, a shallow pond is also in the camp.
* The leader's den is high up, it's a dirt cave with some stone coming out of the floor, and a slope goes up to it. The warrior's den is a dirt den that has been dug to connect to the apprentice's den, which has an old spruce tree on one side of it and a large bush that blocks sight of the warrior's den between the tunnel, it blooms during newleaf.
* The nursery is a dirt cave that collapsed, the collapsed side is held up by thickets and weaved with many flowers, most dried from being left to sit in the sun.
* The doctors den is beside the pond, it is a mostly stone but also a dirt cave. It has been dug to go farther back and is also connected to the elder's den through a back tunnel that goes through the hill.
* The elder's den is on the other side of the pond. It is a dirt den that has been dug to connect to the back tunnel to give access to the medicine den at all times. It is also used to house ill or injured patients.
The Territory:
* The territory consists of mostly flat land until it gets close to the camp, where large hills start to take up the land. Long grasses cover the field, other than paths that have been taken many times.
* There is an old spruce stump that is used for training. The top has been covered in moss to keep it soft, and there is a small pond beside it where apprentices can get water to cool down.
* Large spruce and conifer trees are scattered down the DawnClan border, this is where apprentices are allowed to learn to climb trees.
* On the NightClan border there is an old badger den that can cause trouble, as foxes like to move into it sometimes, along with rogue cats.
* Abandoned twolegden just a path away from the badger den. Some herbs grow in the garden, and it is used if they need to evacuate their camp.
* Rabbits are the most common prey, but there are also some small birds, moles, and many species of vole, and in the spruce and conifer trees they can get squirrels sometimes.

The Camp:
* Large open space that has thickets around it and a large pond on the north side. It is shaded, but also the clearest area to see the sky.
* Leaders den is a flat rock with a moss nest on it, no roof.
* Doctors is in a dugout den that goes underground, it is covered with bushes on top for security. Goes far back as to hold many patients if needed. Also, lots of apprentices, since DawnClan practices having multiple medicine cats/and or making it part of training for regular warrior apprentices to learn basic herbs.
* Warriors den is out in the open, with lots of moss collected into one big area for a sleeping arrangement. Flowers are also weaved into the moss.
* Apprentices den is out in the open, with the same moss bedding arrangement as the warriors, the only difference is that there are bushes around them.
* Nursery and elders den are dugouts just like the doctors den is, it is one big den so that both can be in there at once. The most protection is around them, as thorn bushes are protecting the entrance and there is a separate exit in the back that leads out of camp.
The territory:
* They have large conifer trees and some spruce trees, along with a few holly bushes. It is the largest territory as they have expanded into the unclaimed land behind them.
* The large pond beside them offers swimming training, and sometimes the occasional fish for the fresh-kill pile.
* A clearing is shared with DuskClan, it is an old place where an old yellow monster sits and some chainsaws are left behind from people cutting trees.
* The prey is squirrels, some voles, and mice, along with an arrangement of birds.

The Camp:
* Old, a barren river that has long since dried up.
* Leaders den is in between some rocks, it has thorn bushes growing around it.
* Doctors den is shared by the leader's den, as they both sleep and operate in the rocks.
* Warriors den is dugout and backed up by thickets and brambles. This is also the elder's den, as they don't move out and instead live the rest of their retirement in their den watching the next generation become strong warriors.
* Apprentice den is dug out and has thorn bushes around them, they also have the dirt on the roof held up by a branch from one of the trees around them.
* Nursery is dugout behind the leaders/medicine cats den. It is mostly blocked from sight by the large stones and has guards on it at all times. A berry bush grows beside it.
The territory:
* Large conifer trees grow in their area, along with redwood trees. Their territory is mostly shaded, only the shared land with DawnClan is cleared enough for full-on sunlight, and other areas are patched in light.
* A river cuts through their land and into unclaimed territory. They gather fish from there and enjoy sunning themselves on large, flat rocks that are along the side of it.
* Unusual amount of anthills around the border with NightClan. Elders tell stories that it was a curse that was put on them when they split from NightClan to make DuskClan.

The Camp:
* An elaborate cave system that runs under a thick, dark forest of redwoods and conifers.
* Leaders den is the biggest den, it is used to hold meetings.
* Doctors' den splits off from inside the leader's den, and it somehow manages to have tunnels going up to the surface in different places of the territory.
* Warriors den is large and has ivy growing on the side, it is made of limestone and regular stone.
* Apprentices' den is closest to the smallest, but even is still a relatively big den. Water drips off the walls and into little puddles, mostly into stone that holds the water easily.
* Nursery is the second biggest den and has moss that naturally grows on the floor to keep kits safe from the hard stone. Water also drips off the walls and into little stone bowls.
* The elder's den is the smallest. And this is the reason that the elders like to be together instead of spreading away. This helps them tell stories and keep warm in the cold cave system, as winds seem to always find their way inside the tunnels.
The Territory:
* Large redwoods and some conifer trees. Bushes and bracken cover the ground thickly, and sunlight hardly ever gets to the forest ground easily.
* Abandoned tunnels barely big enough for an apprentice to squeeze through, unknown what caused them.
* The river that DuskClan has also split off into their land. It goes off into many small creeks, where they can collect pretty stones.
* Prey is many birds, mice, and voles. They don't climb as much as the other Clans, which limits them more to ground animals. They love to have hares as special meals whenever they can catch them whenever they are chased into their land from DayClan.
