The three heroes stare at the former princess kneeling with a slave seal marked on her chest.
"This is the result of your own actions." The Queen says
"I, too, think as much." Ren, the sword hero says.
"This is one hell of a punishment, but that doesn't really matter." Itsuki, the bow hero says.
"I-I will… I'll believe in you no matter what. Mal-" Motoyasu pauses, staring at the Queen as she glares at the Spear hero.
"Uh, I mean, Bitch!"
It was silent for half a minute but it felt like an hour for M-Bitch to comprehend what her hero just called her. Her face turns red as her hair, her voice squeaks from the humiliation.
Naofumi would have laughed at the expression but his mind was preoccupied with something else.
"Are you serious?" Naofumi blurts out, staring at the Spear Hero in disbelief.
"Uh. ya, I believe in M-Bitch" Motoyasu states confidently.
"You… think she is a good person to trust?" The Shield Hero asked again.
"Yes"
"..."
It was silent for a whole minute.
"Uh Motoyasu, didn't you hear how Bitch swore she would kill Naofumi when she can?" Itsuki asks not to feel smug but out of confusion about his fellow Hero's statement.
"Ya, in fact, she turned against her own words about revenge breeding more revenge and how people should not seek it." Ren comments, feeling confused as everyone else.
"W-Well that's because she is just uh, embarrassed and angry about her new name, it's a normal reaction." Motoyasu says weakly.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Naofumi screams.
Motoyasu flinches from the Shield Hero's scream.
Naofumi pinches the bridge of his nose.
"Even after the trial, when the bitch admitted that she falsely accused me of rape, she placed expensive taxes on that destroyed village and tried to kill her ELEVEN Year old sister! WHY THE HELL DO YOU STILL BELIEVE IN THIS BITCH?!" He yells pointing at the red-haired slave.
"She was ordered by the slave seal to speak the truth and finally admitted that she lied about everything! SO WHY DO YOU BELIEVE IN HER?!"
Motoyasu sweats as everyone stares at him "Well uh… Because, um"
"Well… What could it be?" The Queen asks, indulging in her curiosity rather than trying to regain control of the situation.
"The reason why I believe in her is none of your business! What we shared and did together makes me believe in her! I know she cares about me, nothing you say will make me change my mind!" The Spear hero says.
"RAAGGHHHG FINE!" Naofumi sighs, rubbing his forehead ready to give up trying to reason with the idiot, but he looks at bitch, and an idea forms in his mind. "If nothing I say will change your mind, then maybe Bitch's words can!"
"Huh?"
"Hey, bitch!" The Shield Hero yells
"Y-yes…" Bitch answers with gritted teeth.
"Do you actually care about Motoyasu or is he just a pawn you can manipulate to do whatever you want? Answer truthfully!" Naofumi roars.
Bitch's eyes widen at the question, she stares at Spear Idiot, "Yes I ca- Geh!" She cries out in pain as the slave seal electrocutes her.
"I DO NOT CARE FOR MOTOYASU!" She screams out.
"W-what?" Motoyasu mutters, staring at the slave in shock.
"What do you actually think of him?" Naofumi asks, feeling vindictive.
"I think… He is the easiest hero to manipulate…" The former princess concedes in defeat.
"B-but, Myne, what about that night… When I had that nightmare and you comforted me, what did that mean to you?" The Spear hero asks, not caring about saying her former name.
"It was amusing to see how pathetic you were and I thought of how it made it easier for you to trust me…" Bitch says.
Naofumi continues to speak but Motoyasu doesn't hear anything, he clenches his hand. Recalling the night that solidified his loyalty towards the former princess.
"I'M SORRY!" Motoyasu screams, falling out of his bed, as he pats his torso, checking for wounds. He sighs in relief to find nothing on his body.
"Motoyasu sama, what is wrong?" Myne asks, 'concerned' about her hero
"Myne, I… had a nightmare." He says, pouring a glass of water for himself.
"About what?" She asks, placing her hand on his shoulder.
"Uh…"
"Please tell me, I may be able to help you. You can trust me" Myne says with a smile.
The Spear hero takes a breath "Okay…"
The hero tells Myne of his life before he became the Spear Hero, he tells her of his two close friends and hesitantly describes how they both stabbed him to death.
The disguised princess hugs Motoyasu as he cries "It's okay Motoyasu, you're safe now…"
"Thank you Myne..." he says, closing his eyes, falling asleep, unaware the disgusting smirk on the princess's face.
Motoyasu stumbles back in shock, recalling every precious memory of her and they shatter like glass. The words 'I do not care for Motoyasu' repeated in his mind. Suddenly all the evidence in the trial connects… Her actions, the moments where she expressed her irritation over the most minor things. If all of it was a lie then…
He needs to leave…
The Spear hero immediately activates the Teleporting spear.
Unable to Teleport in the area.
Motoyasu turns around pushing past his party members.
"Motoyasu, where are you going?" A girl asks as the other members murmur the same question but he ignores them as he pushes through the crowd.
He sees the exit but the two guards cross their spears in front of him. He feels someone's hand placed on his shoulder.
"Hey, we're not done until you underst-"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Motoyasu yells, slapping the hand off his shoulder, he turns to face Naofumi, who stares back surprised, and with a small hint of… pity?
"Let the Spear Hero leave." The Queen says.
The guards nod and move their spears away from the door. Motoyasu takes a breath and shoves the door open.
Everyone stares at the opened door and the retreating form of the Spear Hero.

I might make a part 2 of this I'm not certain though. Btw this is based on the manga version.
This was something that kind of bothered me when I discovered the fate of the other Three Heroes, which could have been easily prevented if Malty was either locked up in the castle or killed. But then when I looked back at the trial scene in the anime and the manga… It made me think… Why did no one question if Malty actually cared about the Spear Hero? Heck, I remember a guest reviewer asking that in one fanfic, but I forgot which one.
I mean ya Malty's reputation was now burned down but she was still in a position where she could manipulate the heroes! Even with the slave seal, she is still dangerous! Especially when removing the seal!
After the Turtle event, she manipulated Ren and Itsuki who both hit rock bottom! Two people who were as delusional as Motoyasu, well maybe not as badly delusional as Ren but the death of his party hit him hard.
Yes, the evidence is FUCKING OBVIOUS but with someone like Motoyasu, the evidence would have to hit him in the balls! They would have to be EXTREMELY DIRECT for him to understand!
I get it, it might seem like a waste of air trying to convince the moron but a question like this would be the last straw and Naofumi should have taken it. Especially if he has to work with the Spear Hero to save the damn world! Obviously, the root of the problem should be taken care of to actually talk with the Spear Hero and the root was Malty!
I had an idea for a similar scene with Misato asking the question in The Gun Hero's Arrival But considering the concept of the Butterfly Effect things might be really different in The Gun Hero's Arrival.
I'm surprised no other fanfic did this, unless there is one, if so please tell me.
Could someone please explain why something like this never happened in canon or any fanfic?
