Chapter 1:Origin
"Mom come on, it's time to go!" These were the words that woke his mother. "Is it that time already?" she asked as she tiredly got up. Mom was no early bird that's for sure but I on the other hand woke up an hour ago due to my excitement at going to the quirk doctor. After a quick breakfast we hopped into the car and on the way there my mom surprised me by telling me my dad was taking a day off to celebrate my quirk. This news greatly shocked me as dad never took a day off and it made my excitement grow even more than I knew possible. We finally arrived at the doctor and as we went inside I saw all kinds of other kids with similar excitement and unfortunately it was packed so we would have to wait for a while. An hour later we finally met the doctor as he made me take an x-ray and did some blood work among other things and after that was done me and my mom sat down to receive the news of what my quirk is.
"Well good news Mrs Gushiken your son seems to have an enhancement type quirk" this news makes my mother sigh with relief as her son has a quirk. I however wanted to know more and so I asked the doctor to explain. The doctor smiled as he said "your quirk makes you stronger whenever you experience pain or get hurt along with a small passive boost even if you're not hurt. As when you came in you were already stronger than the average 4 year old and when we drew blood your muscles grew a little more defined" This made me smile as my quirk sounded so cool and strong while my mother frowned for some reason. "So my son has to get hurt in order to use his quirk that doesn't sound very good to me" Mom said, still frowning and she would keep that frown even after we left the doctors office.
On the way to our family's favorite restaurant I was excited to tell my friends about my quirk at school tomorrow as only a few in my class have their quirks but I noticed something strange about mom as she wasn't nearly as excited as me despite putting on a smile. I figured it must be nothing as I looked forward to meeting dad as he only has a few days off a year and can't take many days off. We pulled into the driveway and I saw dad waiting outside the restaurant for us which put a big smile on my face. "Dad!" I called out as I ran up to him which made him turn around and pull me into a hug. "Hey little man!" He responded, which is a nickname he gave me as I'm the man of the house when he isn't here and always made me feel strong enough to take on any villain . Little did I know though that the thought I had back then would come true just 2 hours later.
We were walking into our apartment complex after eating when a man in a strange black getup walked up to us as I could only see his mouth and man did he have some weird teeth. My dad however started to get nervous as he seemed to recognize the person and he turned his head and yelled "Run!" which made me confused until I saw the man's teeth extend into these weird blade things which scared me enough to try and run. But unfortunately it was not meant to be as I felt white hot pain run throughout my body as I had been stabbed through the stomach which caused mom and dad to scream. My mind went into shock as I just stared at my parents however when I saw them almost get hit it caused my body to move on it's own with strength I didn't know I had as I ran at the villain which caused him to be surprised as I managed to hit him right on the back of his head knocking him out just like I had seen All Might do to so many villains on TV. I looked around for my parents not even feeling any pain due to the adrenaline and I saw them curled up beside each other in a pile of blood. "Mom,Dad are you okay? Why are you just laying there get up!" Me being a little 4 year old boy I focused on hitting the villain which caused me to not see my parents get hit. As I heard police sirens I did the only thing I could as I stared at my parents dead bodies I screamed.
AN: Hello to anyone who decided to read this story. This is my first fanfiction ever written so please be forgiving of any mistakes I made during this chapter. I do tend to ramble on in my writing from time to time so sorry if that gets on your nerves. I will write Gou's quirk description in every author's note to make sure I stay consistent to his powers and so people will not call BS whenever a new technique gets made for Gou.
Quirk:Pain Enhancement - Whenever Gou feels pain or takes damage his body creates an energy that increases his body's strength and speed.
